Chapter 145 Chapter 145
Chapter 145

Meditation for a mystical being reflect on his core energy, although it seems dead but with patient connection the spark would reignited.

Avon was attentive to the knowledge giving him the lesson needed to break the spell.

Avon continued the process, and soon the tingle came in, running through his system that brought it up into flames.

His energy was burning back up, he could feel it. His breathing went intense, steams blowing out of his nostrils as he respirate a bit more fiercely.

A white light gleams all over his body at the edge, turning him into a speaking figure that sat on the floor with his legs crossed and deep in his thought.

He felt the light and soon his body lifted, in the same position levitating off the ground and sitting right on the air.

His eyes finally snapped open, pure white that reflects nothing than powerful cosmic energy. Rays flashed through the lucid vision, a strand of his hair standing up and growing in length; strands after strands picking up and lengthening.

The color slowly mixing from black to white, the energy growing to the point his humanly clothing began tearing off his body, repairing into a more solid leather white colored clothing that taped his body all over her, it grew all round forming a top that stick to his skin and also a leather pant joined to the top separated only by a belt that tied around his waist.

At the crew necking grew a hood, the same color as the clothing forming over his head and below the hood flayed down a cape that flooded to his feet.

“Praecidi incantatores!” He spoke, a rumble following that shook the entire cave into a quake, in an instant as his hand spread apart, the rocks blocking the entrance became dust once again giving path to entry.

His levitating body in a flight moved forward floating through the entrance and back into the rail loop he was before.

He stopped floating, his cape from behind flowing graciously with the air beneath it. His hand restricting from hanging coming back to his sides, his eyes still gleaming with the bright white light that took over his pupil all over. His gravitated hair rested against the hood over it but still floating out from the little space left in the hood; the length is yet to return back to normal as well as the color.

At that moment the old man from before appeared, also in the air high on his feet floating against gravity. His body had a woman against it with his hand around her wrapping her to keep her in place.

Lorraine who was taken all of a sudden and by surprise met herself in a railroad area under a tunnel, her vision was quick to speculating her surrounding; thanks to the white light that lighted the whole tunnel like a sky.

Lorraine was perplexed, and with the confusion she stared around, her eyes not meeting the other floating man in front of her that claded in a tight outfit with a hood over his head.

A second ago she was in a fight, and albeit she was winning she was about to get stab when she met herself here.

“Who are you? Where is this?” She looked to her back, asking the man holding her from falling down as she could feel her feet above the ground. Her raspy voice questioned, before glancing over to the front to finally see the man standing on the air in front of them.

His appearance to her seems hidden, his head was bent with long shiny white hair floating out at the side of his nape, also his head was cover in a hood, his stance a bit scary.

“Who are you people?” Lorraine questioned one more time, as no response came in for her last question.

“Ab omni noxa custodiri.”

The man hanging in the air with no support stretched his palm out facing her, uttering those words that took effect on her as she felt herself pulling away from the man.

In a vast second she was out of his grip, floating to a side as she felt herself caught in a bubble. Her hand slammed on the translucent bubble keeping her inside and out of the round box.

Avon had use his power to bend the light manipulating the force field into creating a shield around her wife taking her away from the old man before he could anything to her.

Although Lorraine was occupied with bothering about what the hell is going on, but the familiar voice that spoke just now recalled back to her brain slamming on her senses.

She found her eyes trialing back to the all white man, gazing at him with full attention. Is it possible he is Avon? Or is this even an hallucination.

What is happening to her? How is she floating and shielded inside a bubble like thingy? How did she get here between those two men, with one looking older?

How did he bring her? How are both also standing on the mere air without the gravitational force pulling them back to the ground?

More and more questions surfaced her head, questions no one is answering, not even the two she had voiced out.

“Can anyone tell me what is happening?” Lorraine yelled out again, wanting to test if the shield doesn’t block her voice out as it did to her body.

“How did you- that is not possible. How did you do it?” The older man was awed, seeing that Avon had break out of the cave, he had broke out of his spell; displaying to him how powerful he is.

He studied his state, seeing the form he is currently in. The pure state of his energy, he can’t fight him in this state. A snap from him, and he would be nothing but dust.

With his power he is something else, greater than the mystical force, he is the true embodiment of cosmic and energy. The cosmic aspect granting him the snap hold of magic in his fingers, energy giving him the endless opportunity to manipulate reality, anything of his will in a different scale.

He is limitlessly powerful, and he wondered how he got his power. How did the energy find him to make him it host.

He heard theories of the cosmic energy existing in the afterlife, but all mystical beings who have travelled to the afterlife to obtain the gift never came back.

Is it possible he died, and was able to obtain the cosmic energy that brought him back to life. The old man was speechless.

“You’re not fit for your power. That will be the first thing I’m stripping off from you.” Avon’s hard voice dominated the atmosphere, the tone rigid and soul freezing.

“No one, no one at all will know ever about your existence. As you’ve once become the chosen, you’ll become the neglected.”

His hand went up pointing at him with his five fingers, blue colored sparkling dust emitted from the old man’s body.

The facade of his magic wearing off as a glitch began happening to his identity, his face blurred from the old man’s face to a teenager’s face and back to the old man’s face.

“Aufer me, obstrue, ne auferas vires meas, aufer me antequam fiam inanes. Da ei aliquid aliud ad accipiendum potestatem, forte non existens effigies mei, finiat illud, aufer me ab illo.” He managed to word out the spell before he completely glitched into the blue sparkling dust flowing out of him and entering Avon’s hand.

The young guy who had disguised as an old man after he had casted the spell out in a twitching breaking voice became still, completely becoming a blue sparkly dusts that flowed into Avon’s body through his hand.

“To his existence, an end was casted. His legacy shall be no more, wipe it all away.” Avon lifted his head that had the hood falling off to reveal his face, his eyes that had gone white.

Also clarifying Lorraine’s doubt on who the floating man is, it is indeed her husband. Her jaw dropped in amusement, this is a long talk for later.

She watched as his face lifted and arms spreading wide, and soon in result to his words the whole tunnel began rumbling.

Avon floated to her side touching the shield that disappeared from keeping her inside. Avon wrapped himself around her before he made them both disappear from the tunnel that was already crumbling down.

Avon teleported them back to his room, back in his bedroom right in front of his bedroom.

He still reek of power, his glowing eyes still shunning brightly and also his hair.

Lorraine pulled softly away from his embrace, stepping back few feet from him. Not in fright, but in shock that her husband is nothing of who she thought he is.

“Who are you?” She asked, taking a deep breath as she sat down on the edge of the bed.

Avon found his core calming himself down, the mystical wear on him fading back to his previous clothing of a shirt and a trouser, as well as his hair going back to it length and color, also his eyes returning back to normal.

He went closer to his wife, taking a seat beside her. “We should talk.” He said to her, before asking her to start asking everything she wishes to know.

A/N: The spell casted by the character; it is a spell that created another of him for Avon to take his power, he still existed and in hiding.
