Chapter 144
Lorraine didn’t quite get what she meant by that, but when she dropped to her feet getting off the bed with her eyes sizing her up in a dark gaze.
A wave of chills passed down her body, she was forced into gulping down with her stance clattering a bit not wanting to show her fear.
“What are you saying?” She had questioned, to gain clarity on what she said that seemed totally like a threat, one she’s moving closer to carry out.
She had stood up, in all her creature with her round mounds visible, all the way down to her clear well shaved and smooth private area.
Not minding her state began coming close, “You’ve been a problem since I have came into this house, always standing in way of me getting things done faster than a snap. I’m saying I should remove you once and for all, I thought you were going to die yesterday night because something was planned for you and here you are alive. I’m just saying maybe I should take the leap and get the job done myself.” She had repeated, expatiating on her words, her voice calm laying out in a different tone that accounted cold and psychotic.
“Avon is in his office. I was just messing with you, look how worked up you are, Jeez.” She suddenly said, the scary look on her face disappearing as a friendly smile appeared instead on her face that not had Lorraine’s mind twisting but also befuddled.
She keened her eyes on her, her brows creased and questioning her expression.
“I have been to his office. There is nobody there, he is not around, not in my room neither my office. Also I can’t seem to find Finn anywhere, do you know where he is also? Maybe he would know where Avon is.” Lorraine said, sighing that whatever she was thinking was going to happen was wrong.
“Oh I know where that one is. You should go wait outside for me to dress up, I can’t take you to him looking this hot.” She gestured with her head, moving backwards abs heading towards her closet.
“Sure thing, yeah. Of course.” Lorraine turned around exiting the room, and waiting outside like she requested.
She spent her minutes in her thought, widening and trying to fake different scenarios to the dark feeling that ate up all the positive feelings in her.
It was yet to dissipate, if anything the awry feelings had gone wider and was planting scenes manifested from dark thoughts into her head.
She had spoke with him not long ago, he should be home now. She just couldn’t get herself from feeling shallowed and sulked up.
The sound of the door opening had her reality tearing up and away from her thoughts buckled with imaginations.
Her head lifted, looking to the left and the direction of the door opening to see Kory dressed in a big hoodie and a matching jogger. Her hands were stuck in the hoodie’s pocket and the hood was over her head.
She stepped away from her entranceway coming to meet her where she was standing backed against the wall with her relaxed on it.
She came to her, a smirk on her lips as she stood in front of her. “You want to go see your husband right?” She asked, the smile that comes after making the question appear more harmless in front of Lorraine.
“Yeah.” She nodded while giving her positive agreement and becoming wary about her.
“I have the perfect solution. You should go wait for him in heaven, I promise to send him in for you quicker when I’m done with him; but for now, you’re going alone.”
Before Lorraine had anytime to fathom what she was saying she sighted her removing her hand from the hoodie pocket, the hand having a dagger.
She immediately ducked to the side, jumping into a vast motion that had her running away. She glanced back to see her chasing her already.
Lorraine was perplexed as well as astounded by her action, she wanted to kill her and about to carry out the job physically.
There was truly no one to protect her and it is her all by herself. Either die defenseless and totally weak against her, or fight and take her down showing her she can take care of herself.
Lorraine had ran giving her enough space that would take some seconds before she could recover. She stopped on her tracks turning back to face her.
She was running to get a guard or perhaps to where people are at, that way her plan to murder her would fail.
However, she wanted to show her she’s not weak and able to stand her ground without her husband and Faye. She needs to make her regret trying to kill her.
At the last seconds with Kory’s hand that had the dagger up in an attacking manner, Lorraine couldn’t help the beating of her heart to how scary it seems.
Her conscious pushed on her decision to stay and fight her, smacking on her leg to resume back to running and getting away from this without proving anything.
She had almost gave in to start running again, but Kory already came and her attempting to stab her shoulder was feeble.
Lorraine targeted her wrist as she grabbed it from the side stopping her from plunging the object deep into her shoulder.
She twisted it that had the dagger falling off onto the floor. Her other hand balled a fist as she launched it up and directly into her face.
Her head jerked back tilting to the move of Lorraine landing a punch on her face. Kory felt the attack and the sudden switch of strength, she struggled getting her wrist freed of her hold.
She moved backwards, the hood on her head already fell off from the punch. Kory touched her nose, seeing the blood coming out that only heightened her anger.
Lorraine attempted another hit, which Kory ducked perfectly without getting suppressed by the hit out of anger.
She grabbed Lorraine’s neck pressing on it as she pushed her till her back slammed against the wall. Her other hand flattened as she began rushing slaps on Lorraine’s face.
The hit was heated and rapid landing on her face. Lorraine closed her eyes taking several hits from her, knowing she had to get away from her she managed to pull up her knee sending it directly to her stomach.
This halted her action and had her stepping back creating some space between them with his hand no longer on her neck.
Lorraine jumped forward, landing an elbow on her bent spine that was her position trying to soothe her hurting stomach.
Lorraine pulled on her hair, dragging her straight on to the floor not minding her harsh pull on her scalp. She pulled her to the floor, getting her defenseless as she got on top of her.
She let go of her hair as she rained out slaps on her face just Ike she did to her, just that hers coming in double as she hit her with both of her hands.
Kory was still hurting from the kneeling in her stomach, also from the elbow on her back, then to the strong pull on her hair that had her head banging with discomfort. Kory found herself totally defenseless under Lorraine, and she had become the exact opposite of what she thought she is.
She thought of her to be weak and someone she can take within a short period of time. Her hand managed into moving up to shield herself from getting more hits on the face.
Lorraine kept on slapping her, seeing she had blocked her face with her hands. She stopped pushing her hand into holding her neck like she had done to her, she pressed on it creating a bump in her airflow, she could feel the restriction.
“Time to cry bitch!” Lorraine said, using the exact term she had used when threatening her. It was a hint to the punch she balled sending across to her face.
Her hand was off the face, trying to pulling on her hand around her neck that gave her the free shot of bashing up her face further.
She punched on her jaw, a cracking sound conceived to the hearing that deduce a bone in the area is broken.
Kory knew this could be her end if she doesn’t do anything began struggling underneath her. Her hand also went up choking around Lorraine’s neck to stop her from giving more punches.
Lorraine used her other hand to slap to slap her hand away, but Kory was awfully persistent and kept on pushing till Lorraine had to remove her hand from her own neck just to get hers apprehended.
Kory took the chance to push her off of her. She glanced around to see the dagger she came it, she got on her feet retrieving the dagger in a blink of an eye as she rushed to Lorraine where she was.
Just as she was about to stab her on the neck, somebody from nowhere appeared touching Lorraine on the shoulder and whooshing themselves out of their presence.
The dagger later stabbing into the vacant spot that replaced Lorraine. Kory dropped the dagger, a bit startled by what suddenly happened.
Who was that? What was that? Where is Lorraine?
Those questions ripped through her mind as she fell to the floor defeated from the fight that is starting to reflect on her.
