Ray's Greatness!
My eyes widened as I witnessed the burly guard effortlessly flying through the air from Ray's punch. Everyone present looked on in disbelief, even Redrick's father appeared genuinely surprised by Ray's strength.
Ray's hands moved quickly and gracefully, as if he had complete control over every move made by the guards. He utilized precise and effective fighting techniques, defeating his opponents with accurately landed punches. Each strike felt powerful and devastating, sending the burly guards soaring through the air.
Crash! Crack! The sounds of bodies colliding and bones shattering echoed around us. The bodies of the large guards crashed to the ground with tremendous force. They were powerless against Ray's ferocity and resilience.
"Is he still human?" Redrick exclaimed irritably, his expression filled with a mixture of anger and annoyance.
Vienna, too, expressed disbelief with a shocked expression on her face. I turned to Vienna and grinned while taunting her, "Hmmmph!"
In my heart, I felt a great sense of relief. Thankfully, Ray wasn't injured in this fight. Thank goodness...
Bam! Bam! Bam!
The guards seemed to be flying in all directions due to Ray's powerful punches. They fell one by one without mercy. Ray continued his assault relentlessly, strike after strike, with incredible speed and strength. His body showed no signs of any injuries, and his clothes remained clean and neat.
Crash!
In an instant, all the guards were defeated. They had been overcome by Ray.
Casually clapping his hands, Ray smiled tauntingly at Redrick's father and asked, "Well, Mr. Vans? May I leave now?" His tone oozed arrogance.
Redrick's father remained silent, a frustrated expression evident on his face. I wanted to calm Redrick's father with a few words, reminding him not to provoke Ray any further.
I knew that everyone here, except for me, had no idea who Ray truly was. He was Ray Anderson, a person with immense power. Even a child knew that the Anderson family possessed unimaginable wealth, capable of easily buying a small country. I didn't want Redrick's father to get involved any further and trigger Ray's anger, although I knew that Ray wouldn't do anything. Still, I had to warn my father.
But before I could open my mouth, Ray spoke up firmly.
"Mr. Vans, wouldn't it be strange for you to force Naina to marry a man like your son?" Ray said with a tone that conveyed determination and displeasure.
Upon hearing those words, Redrick's father furrowed his brow, his expression showing confusion. I could see in his gaze that he was trying to suppress his anger over what Ray had just revealed.
"I can even clearly see how genuinely Naina feels about you. It's not right for you to treat her this way!" Ray continued with an emotionally charged voice. "She even considers you her father, but what have you done? Is this how a father should behave? I doubt that you truly love Naina as your own daughter!" he added, emphasizing his disappointment.
Ray expressed his dissatisfaction with Redrick's father's treatment towards me honestly and sharply. His words sounded like a strong reminder, urging Redrick's father to reconsider his responsibility as a father and the importance of showing me love and proper respect.
At that moment, the atmosphere grew tense and silent. Redrick's father appeared to be deep in thought, his face filled with a mix of confusion and anger. I sincerely hoped that Ray's words would have a strong impact on Redrick's father, causing him to reflect on his firm decision regarding my marriage to Redrick.
However, it was only wishful thinking. The reality was that Redrick's father remained steadfast in his decision and replied, "You don't need to teach me how to treat Naina!" he retorted angrily, displaying deep displeasure.
"Mr. Vans, you are only concerned about your ego. I certainly wouldn't remind you if you treated Naina well! But from what I've seen, you don't care about her at all!" Ray asserted firmly.
I saw Redrick's father becoming more provoked by Ray's words, and the tension between them escalated. Redrick's father fiercely defended himself, feeling threatened by the unfolding confrontation. "To me, Naina is like my own daughter, as her father, I know what's best for her! What do you know about Naina, huh!" he said assertively, pointing a finger at Ray.
Ray remained standing tall in his place and declared, "Heh! Now you don't need to worry about Naina anymore! Because I will marry her. Don't be angry about it, since initially it was your own son who betrayed her. There's nothing wrong with her marrying me," Ray continued firmly.
"Hmmmph! Who do you think you are, huh? Do you think you're better than my son!" Redrick's father growled in anger.
That's it... I thought to myself. Redrick's father didn't know that the person standing in front of him now was Ray Anderson, the great man he had longed to meet.
Upon hearing his father's words, Ray burst into laughter.
"Hahaha! Destroy me? How amusing! A Vans wants to destroy an Anderson like myself? Wake up from your dream, Mr. Vans!" Ray taunted proudly.
Hearing that, Redrick's father's eyes widened instantly. From his expression, I knew he was genuinely shocked to hear that.
"You're An..." as Redrick's father was about to say something, Ray immediately interrupted him, staring at him with a sharp gaze.
"Go ahead if you can!" Ray challenged, grabbing my hand and leading me away from there. Redrick's father fell silent, his face filled with astonishment, unable to utter a word.
We walked with steady steps, passing through the silent Vans Company building. I glanced at Ray, and from his eyes, I could see unbridled anger. His face tensed, displaying the fiery courage and determination within him.
Until we finally arrived at Ray's car. I looked at him once again, trying to read the expression on his face. It still appeared serious, but behind that, I could glimpse a flicker of warmth in his eyes.
