Pa, Please!

"Naina, please don't go," Redrick pleaded as he held my hand with hope, his eyes beseeching me to stay with him.

Seeing Redrick approach and hold my hand, Ray quickly released Redrick's hand from mine. "Are you even a man, huh? Can't you think of anything other than relying on a woman! You coward!" Ray growled with an expression full of anger.

I called Ray in a soft voice, trying to make him stop. I knew I had to face Redrick alone. "Ray," I called softly, hoping he would listen to me and stop. I was truly grateful to Ray for always being there for me, but I wanted to handle this myself.

"Redrick, if you have made a decision, at least fight for it! Please, Redrick, don't make yourself look low in my eyes," I replied with a slightly sharp tone. My disappointment in Redrick's inconsistent behavior ran deep. I wondered why he couldn't stand firm in his own decision, why he couldn't be stronger.

Redrick sweated as he heard my rejection. His eyes glanced towards his father, but his father remained firm in his decision, his face looking stern and tense.

"Naina, please," he pleaded again in a gentle tone, hoping I would change my mind.

Seeing him made me feel guilty. I loved and cared for him. But I had to stay strong and firm, for my own happiness and his. I turned my body decisively, trying to hide my doubts and weaknesses, and walked away with Ray.

But to my surprise, Vienna ran towards us, stretching her arms out, her expression filled with regret. "Naina, please stay, don't go! You were right, I was the one at fault. I truly apologize, Naina," she said with a remorseful voice, as if genuinely feeling guilty.

How could I not know this cunning woman's thoughts? She was just pretending. Seeing her like that made me want to vomit the hidden disgust inside me.

However, Ray firmly held my hand and quickly took me away, gripping it with determination. "Come on, Naina, don't listen to this trashy woman's nonsense," Ray said sharply, his eyes looking at Vienna with disgust and hatred.

As we walked away, Redrick's father's voice interrupted our steps, asking us to stop. "You better stop!" he hissed with a firm and authoritative tone.

Spontaneously, Ray and I stopped and turned around, staring at my father with visible tension on my face.

Redrick's father, who was there, approached slowly, his gaze piercing sharply towards Ray. "Who are you to take Naina away just like that? If you want to leave, then go with one foot!" Redrick's father said firmly, flicking his finger through the air as a sign of contempt. The sound of the flick echoed in the air.

After Redrick's father flicked his finger, suddenly several black-suited guards appeared around us, their faces serious and tense, their bodies upright and sturdy.

"Pa, please don't," I pleaded to Redrick's father with a worried and hopeful face. But Redrick's father slowly moved his hand as a sign to command the guards to attack Ray.

I hurriedly stepped forward in front of Ray, standing tall and spreading my arms as a form of protection. "No! If you want to hurt Ray, then you have to go through me first!" I said firmly, standing upright and resolute, not wanting the person who helped me to get hurt, then I pleaded again to Redrick's father with a sad tone.

"Pa, please, don't, I beg you," I pleaded with hope, my voice trembling with fear that overwhelmed my heart.

At that moment, Ray suddenly touched my shoulder gently, causing me to turn and look at him. Ray smiled, giving me a gaze filled with confidence. "Naina, it's okay, trust me. I will protect you," Ray said softly, his expression full of bravery and conviction.

"No, Ray, how could you possibly defeat them? They are many, while you're just alone," I said with clear concern in my voice.

"Trust me, Naina," he said again, his voice soft and filled with unwavering conviction shining through his eyes.

At that moment, Redrick's father interrupted, "Hmmmph! A young man with big talk!"

"Naina, you go over there first," Ray held me back and urged me to move away from that place to keep me safe from potential danger.

"But, Ray..." I uttered with hesitation.

"Let's go forward!" Ray exclaimed with enthusiasm, his voice filled with courage and unwavering determination. His eyes gleamed, radiating confidence and a heart-stirring resolve. His expression was filled with spirit and readiness to face the challenge.

I wanted to grab Ray's hand, not wanting him to get hurt. However, Vienna suddenly grabbed me tightly, preventing me from joining Ray. She grinned at me, perfectly acting the part of a good woman. "Naina, don't go there, it's dangerous!" she said with a cunning smile, trying to hinder my steps.

"Let go!" I said firmly, attempting to free myself from Vienna's grasp.

After I managed to release Vienna's grip, a guard stood in front of me, blocking my path to reach Ray.

"Miss Naina, please stay in your place," he said hoarsely, his face stern and unmoving.

I was truly enraged, how dare they do this to Ray. I couldn't let this happen. I had to do something.

However, at that moment, Ray gently held me back. "Naina, trust me, I'll be fine. You wait and see how I take them down one by one."

"Hmmmph," Redrick's father snorted, belittling Ray.

Redrick's father moved his hand again, signaling his guards to take action.

I was filled with fear at that moment, my heart pounding, and a sense of anxiety clouding my mind.

"Ray!" I shouted spontaneously, my voice filled with panic and concern.

But I was taken aback as Ray stepped forward and with a single punch, sent a large-bodied guard flying into the air. It happened so quickly, I couldn't believe it.

"What?!" I exclaimed, a mix of astonishment and confusion clearly evident on my face.
