Benita walked elaborately into the palace, getting everyone to wonder why she had shown up all of a sudden after weeks, but Alpha Xander and Beta Khan weren’t surprised because they knew she would sure show up one day with one evident or another, so they were already prepared for the worst that would happen. Alpha mother flared up after seeing her.

"What are you doing in my house?" She asked, flaming in anger. I am sorry, alpha mother; please forgive me that I didn’t show up or come to visit you; I was just dealing with some emotional tumors," she said, getting closer.

"I don’t even want you around me; I don’t want fake people around me. They already told me everything that happened." She glared at her, and she tried to grab her words.

"What did they say to you?" she asked, and Beta Khan winked at Alpha Xander to put his mind at rest.

"How were you flirting with Khan and pretending to love my son? How despicable could you be?" Alpha mother yelled, and a sinister grinned played by the corner of benita's lips. She looks so pissed right now.

"What are you talking about? I never had anything to do with Beta Khan; it was me and Alpha Xander who had a thing; he was so drunk that day, and we had a thing, but then it seems to turn the whole situation around. I didn't do anything with him," she said, her voice coming with rage.

"What are you talking about? I know my brother very well; he never got drunk easily. So stop this lies, "Cassandra stood up in support of her brother.

"WOW! It's cool that all my family is against me, but there's no problem; I have proof. You can ask one of the guards who saw me going into his room that day." She shouted back at them, and Alpha Mother ordered the guards without further inquiries. He was called for questioning.


"Was it true you saw Benita going to Alpha Xander's room the last time she was here?" she demanded, and he nodded negatively.

"I never saw her, but rather I saw her and Beta Khan going to his room' he responded, and her brow furrowed in amazement.

"Benita, can you please stop all these lies? What more are you going to gain from lying against him? Stop this already" Beta Khan said, gesticulating with an eyeroll. She fumes angrily and charges towards him.

"You succeeded in playing tricks with everyone. You made everyone believe that I was with you. How smart could you be? The three of us both know the truth: nothing happened between me and you" she snapped, holding his collar.

"Enough of this, Benita; you've said alot already. Stop being dramatic and get out before I ask them to throw you out" Alpha Xander finally spoke up, his voice filled with anger.

"Common, you can do that; you can throw me out all you care; you can even lock me up in the cell. But the truth is that we had sex, you made love to me, and the results are freaking out. You try playing with my intelligence because I am in love with you, but it's over. I am pregnant with your child, and I shall wait untill delivery and then show the proof to the world that you are the father. Or should I say him?" She thundered and pointed at Beta Khan. Everyone was amused by her news. How can she be pregnant? "That was the question going through both Alpha Xander and Beta Khan minds."


"So you all are shocked; yes, that's the truth. I am pregnant, and I am going to prove this to you all. I will wait until delivery. So you all better get ready. Because I am going to prove to you all that I never had a thing to do with Beta Khan" she said, fuming in anger.

"Or you are pregnant; I am so excited. I will finally become a father. I am so excited. Thank you, baby, for giving me this great news." Beta Khan tried to put up some drama, even though he wasn't close to getting excited about her news.

"Really, aren't you going to give in? You still want to claim the child that belongs to your friend?"Benita asked, unable to understand why he chose to chest this all.

"I am happy because I am the father of the child. I am sure of what I am saying. We had something together. I have proof that we are together. See this Alpha mother" He brought out his phone out of his pocket and went to his picture gallery.


"Take a look at this" he said, showing some pictures to them. And Cassandra glared at Benita angrily.

"You are such a liar and a shameless woman. You are despicable for trying to push this on my brother. What about all these pictures you guys took together? Are you still going to deny this? Cassandra asked, showing her the pictures. Alpha Xander gulps down nothing; he can't hold all the drama again. All he had to pray was that she should leave soon.

"WOW! You are so smart; you even took a picture of me and you. That's so awesome and smart of you. You really deserve accolades for being the best beta who knows how to protect his master. Such a smart guy" she said, with a dry chuckle.

"What do you still have to explain? Can you please leave now? I can't catch up with your drama; you are so desperate" Alpha mother said, holding her head tiredly.

"Why don't we wait till delivery? Why don't you choose to take care of me and my unborn child and protect me from any harm that might come our way? I am making a proposal to you. You can do anything to me if, after delivery, you find out that the child isn't your grandchild." She said, walking towards her.

"My mom won't accept such a proposal from you, so get out of this palace right now" Alpha Xander thundered, trying to contain his fear.

"There's no need to panic the father of my child. You baby will not be happy seeing the way you are yelling at Mama; the baby really needs you the most. He needs your warmth and care; why are you declining him of this good father that you could be?" She said softly, walking towards him, while he was clenching his fist angrily.


"Don't you want to touch your child? Don't you want to come closer to the woman who loves you and stop running after that mate of yours, who's busy flirting with another guy?" she asked, trying to hold his hand.

"Can you stop this drama already? Please get out. I don't love you; why would I want to be with you? Even a blind person will confirm I don't want to be with you." He shouted, boiling in rage, breathing heavily. He was so angry, even though he knows the acclaimed child was his, but yet he can't accept her; she made him have sex with her in a formidable way, and he would never accept her.

"But I love you. Talking about blind people, they are blind and can't possibly see what love looks like. People who have eyes are still finding it hard to ignite the warmth of the love I have for you; how can those blind creatures see that? Are you scared that I am a desperate lady, that I am cheap, that I am arrogant, and that I am despicable? I can take all that from you, but please don't deny me your love; please check out of this burning fire of love and rescue this aching heart like you did back then. I thought it was over, but you came and redeemed my hope; you keep me alive, and I just wanted to live for you." She said with so much emotion, and Alpha Xander was so confused. How did he ever have an encounter with this drama queen? Where did they come across? He didn't seem to understand.

"Can you stop this already? We aren't shooting a movie, so stop all this script; it's not necessary. We both know it's all fake" Beta Khan said, feeling disgusted already. He can't watch Alpha Xander end up with such a bad lady, who's just desperate about being his wife without possessing a good quality that a woman should possess.

"I guess your time is up,so you should get out of the place, like right this minute. You are such a drama queen, and you are the least person I can deal with." Cassandra called out for the guards. And they rushed in.

"Stop, don't mishandle her; you all get lost." Alpha mother commanded with a tone of authority, and they bowed before leaving.

"Alpha, mother, I guess you've agreed with my proposal. Are you ready to protect your grandchild?" She chuckled softly, looking at her while she boiled in anger.


",I am not accepting your proposal. I trust what my children say to me. And, you've just proven then right, but all this cheap display. About protecting you, I was just making sure they don't malhandle a pregnant woman." She said it with a straight look, trying not to vent her anger. Benita chucked wryly and arranged her hair very well. She smirked and cleared her throat.

"What if you get me married to Beta Khan since he said he's the father of the child, or what do you think, Khan?" she said, smiling eerily.
