"Your majesty I am sorry if my words are harsh. I really used to fancy the royals, but I don’t know why I can't see that real person in them. They just want to be close for their own selfish interests, but I don’t keep fake friends." She confronted Alpha Mother, and Beta Khan stepped forward.

"Don’t be rude and involve others in this. Come with me," he said, and she declined.

"As per what?" she asked, her eyes bimming with anger.

"Why are you so arrogant? You want me to teach you some lessons; remember, you are in our palace." Cassandra tried to fight, but Alpha Xander held her back.

"No one will intervene; leave Khan to sort this out," he said, facing Beta Khan. "You fixed whatever it is," he said calmly, and he nodded his head as he dragged Sandra by her wrist out of the room. Octovia wanted to go after them, but Khalid held her back.

"Why are you dragging me like that? Leave me alone. I don’t want to be your friend." She shouted, but he wouldn’t listen to her. He dragged her to his room.

"What are you trying to do with me? Why bring me in here?" she demanded.

"Because I wanted you to scold me all you wanted, is this not what you really wanted? Scream at me common, because I don’t know why you are so angry. Is it a crime to try to be your friend?" He responded, trying to contain his anger.

"Are you saying I wasn’t supposed to get angry when you are only being friends with me because of Octovia? You know I am an omega, and you can use me however you like. You aren’t real like you claimed, so just get lost" she yelled at him.

"True, if you think I am that person, but let me use Octovia as an example. You love her so much that you can do anything to make her happy; you aren’t entitled to this, but you choose to. You can save her with everything. So why can't I do the same? I am not just Alpha Beta but his childhood friend. Throughout our college days, he has always been the best guy and didn’t even have a girlfriend, even though he got different letters from different ladies every day. He will say, "I only want a relationship with my mate" he protected me and helped me on many occasions without asking him to do that; he’s been like a brother and everything, and he was successful in becoming the alpha after his father passed away, still hoping one day he would see his mate, and after seeing her, he got rejected instantly. If you were a good friend, wouldn’t you do anything to help him?" He explained with more seriousness in his voice.

"I will have it in any way, but probably not by stepping on people's emotions. You never like me; you only get closer because of octovia, and I guess I am over you." She was about to walk out; he dragged her back and kissed her on the lips. She was so surprised and maybe disappointed. She gave him a hot slap, and his brows furrowed in shock.

"You don’t joke with me; don’t ever try to get closer to me; stay far from me; and I don’t want to see your face around me." She rushed out of his room, and Beta Khan couldn’t believe what just happened—why on earth was he thinking—why would he kiss her? What will she see him as? He was so worried, and he also went out of his room, biting his lower lips regretfully. He didn't know what came over him; why would he even do that when he claimed he didn't love her?

A few weeks later, Alpha Mother has been healed, and she has regained all her powers. The book has been sent back to the lands of the immortals as requested by the snake. Octovia told almost everyone about the white snake and how it protects them. Alpha mother has also been trying her best to make sure she tries to bring Alpha Xander and Octovia closer, but she doesn’t agree as the relationship between her and Khalid is getting stronger, and Cassandra won’t stop causing drama for them because she can't watch them be together. Benita hasn’t been coming to the palace recently, trying to restrategize, and Alpha Xander and Beta Khan make sure not to keep their guards low. They were able to convince his uncle to convince the elders quorum to give them more time. Sandra and I Octovia's friendship was stronger, but she couldn't gain her Werewolf. Because they found out the wolfbanning was a very strong one, and also because Beta Khan was trying to apologize for what happened, but she kept slubbing him, so he left her and continued with his normal life, protecting and being with Alpha Xander.

Royal high Hospital

Benita walked down the hospital hall into the doctor's office. They actually had an appointment a few days ago, and now she's back. She made her way in.

"Good day, doctor" she said as she settled on the chair.

"Good day, Mr. Benita; it's good to see you here. I am very happy for you. Your test was a good one" the doctor said.

"Doctor, what exactly is wrong with me? Because u don't think It's something to be happy about" she asked, trying to know what exactly is wrong and why she has been feeling dizzy and all of that.

"I guess it's good news. You are 3 weeks pregnant he announced, and it seems his voice was piercing through the whole office as she tried to understand what he just said.

"I am pregnant" she asked, trying to be sure if she had him well, and the doctor nodded in reply, her eyes furrowed in amazement, then a manacial grin played briefly on her face.

Thanks, doctor" she said as she collected the report from him.

She checked through to confirm what he's saying after every confirmation. She thanked him once again and went out of the office.

"Alpha Xander I am back; this will be my proof." She said, touching her stomach, and she chuckled wryly.
