We aren't fake

We aren't fake
"I will do this," Alpha Mother shouted.

"No, my Luna, please stay back; I will do this," Octovia shouted, closing her eyes. Alpha mother was about to rush to her when Octovia shut her eyes and her fists clenched. Either she dies or she returns; her decision is made; she would rather die a hero than surrender to defeat like a weak wolf. She was closing her eyes, waiting for the last moment, waiting for the snakes to start climbing her as she took a deep breath, but it seems like they are still far away and not going to get to her anytime soon. She slowly opened her eyes to see them going back to their holes.

"Did you use something on them? Why are they going back?" she asked the white snake, who was also surprised.

"I don’t understand, but it's like a miracle; that red light pursues them back," she said, pointing up. Alpha Mother smirks.

"That’s a sign for Mother Goddess; he has come to protect my pack, future Luna." She shouted, and Octovia scoffed.

"It's good that Mother Goddess came to your rescue; now go and get the book before sunset; we are already at midnight. Any hours from now, you should leave here." The snake said as she was really happy for them.

"I got this white snake." She walked to the book with a light heart and first admiredvthe book , she chart some spells, before placing her hand. She took the book and smiled, then walked back to them.

"You majesty, we did this," she shouted, and also gave her the book to take a look at.

"Yes, we did this," she responded, taking the book. The snake was so excited. And crawled to them.

"I am so happy you both did this," she said, and they both nodded negatively.

"We only didn’t do this; we all do this, and you did the best part; without you, what can we do?" Octovia said.

"It’s okay, or maybe I should take that as a compliment. Maybe you both can now see the real me." She said that and shifted into a human form. And behold was a beautiful woman, with white long hair and a beautiful face; her luscious lips will want to make any man who doesn’t know she was a snake want her so much; her skin color is so clean that you wouldn’t see any mark on her body; she was putting on a white gown and had a crown on. They were surprised by her creature.

"Oh my goodness, I do think wolves are beautiful; I don’t even know what to say about your beauty," Octovia said, coercing her into a long hug.

"You are super beautiful; I never knew there’s such beauty, and I can’t even believe you are a queen,"  Alpha mother said, and she blushes at their compliment.

"I am not a queen; I am just a princess. I really appreciate working with you guys," she said with a sad look, missing them already.

"Is that a last word from you?" Octovia asked, thinking she was about to depart soon.

"You should come with us; now that we have the book, we can recover your body," Alpha Mother said.

"That’s not possible, you know, and moreover, it's been 1000 years already; I have made this place a home, and I am going to perish with this place immediately you left with the book," she said, her voice low.

"Common, we should be able to do this with just a spell. I don’t want you to perish; you have a good heart and deserve to live." tears rolling down her eyes as she spoke with determination to heal her.

"No Octovia, no number of spells can redo what has been done many years ago. I am proud of the fact that I am a hero. And my soul will forever rest in peace," she said as tears dropped down her cheek. She went to hug Alpha Mother, cuddling each other for a moment.

"Its time to depart; make sure the book goes back to its real master after using it to heal your sickness. The immortals are the ones in charge of the book, so safety is with them. After the father passed away, the son was supposed to take over, but there was nothing to protect. Do well by returning it. And spread the word of healing to every healer; that’s my last request from you both," she said, and they nodded in agreement.

"ImIt is our priority to protect every healer in this world, and all your requests shall be met," they both assured her in unison.

"Then I would say, It is a time to say goodbye; I will go back to my remaining snakes and sing the snake sounds while we perish together." She said goodbye and waved them goodbye. She tuned into her snake form again and crawled away.

"Its time to go," Alpha mother said, and they both touched the book, reciting some spells.

" And they opened their eyes to find themselves in Alpha Xander's room, their gazes as they saw the book in the middle.

"We did this," Octovia shouted, pulling Alpha Mother into a hug.

"I am glad you both did it. immediately I saw the red light. I know it is a means of protection, and you both will be back safely," Alpha Xander said, and they both nodded. Octovia sprang up to hug her mom, while Alpha Mother was also hugging her family.

"Mum, thanks so much for allowing me to do this. I am sure dad will be happy wherever he's." She said it with tears in her eyes.

"I am so proud of you, my daughter; I will forever support your decision." She said that out of happiness, forgetting that she gave Alpha Xander her word to help him with Octovia.

"Are you sure? Should I take that as a promise? You will agree with all my decisions," she asked, and she stared at Alpha Xander before nodding her head slowly.

"I am proud of you, my daughter." She coerced her longing for her warmth. Khalid scoffed.

"Common boyfriend, you must have missed me so much, right?" She said, rushing to Khalid. Cassandra and Alpha Xander chuckled, trying to withhold their jealousy.

"Off course, I missed you more than anything in this world; you are the only one my heart beats for, and I am so proud of you that you came back safe because myself and Sandra has been planning how to bring war to that world I don’t even know exists."  Khalid pushed her into a hug while they cuddled.

"You know I always keep to my promise." She hit him teasily, and they both laughed.

"I guess I am the only one missing this beautiful moment," Sandra said by the door, and she rushed to hug her.

"Common, why do you look so thin?" Octovia asked, noticing she had become thin in just two days.

"I am watching my weight; I wanted to be fit, you know," she lied.

"Lies, she has been fasting for the past three days, and throughout today she was in the ritual room, sticking to Mother Goddess, saying that if you don’t come back, she will starve herself to death. I haven’t seen someone who has challenged the mother goddess for years." Beta Khan exposed her little secret, and she gave him an eyeroll.

"Is that true?" Octovia stared at her.

"Common, you are here now. I can now eat anyhow I want. She pulled her into a hug.

"You are the best sister I would ever have. She cried on her shoulder.

"So you were lying when you said you'd eaten at the restaurant. That's so kind of you; you made me eat while you starve" Mrs. Smith said with teary eyes.

"I am sorry; you need strength to survive; that's why I did what I had to do" she said, scratching the back of her head.

"So you don't think there's a need to tell us, and you can go ahead and tell your crush about it," Khalid groans.

"Common, bro, you know I am not like that. He found out himself; I don't know how he knows all this about me without saying anything to him" she said, holding Khalid's hand.

"Common Khalid, she doesn't have to inherit my enemy. And moreover, anyone can crush on anyone; we shouldn't be dramatic. She can love anyone she wants to love" Octovia said, and Khalid nodded positively.

"And who's the enemy you are talking about? I never hurt you, so how did I turn out to be your enemy? Beta Khan demanded.

"She doesn't have to answer that; I am. I will start inheriting all her enemies" Sandra stepped forward, glaring angrily at him.

"Common Sandra We didn't have a heated argument. I thought you should have been over this. Are you still not over this?" he asked, moving closer.

"I don't just want to be around someone like you; I don't think I can see a real friend in you" she said and face Octovia.

"Why don't you heal Alpha Mother so we can get out of here? Everyone here lives a fake life; they aren't as kind as you see." She said so, and Octovia chuckled, wondering why she thought so.

"Sandra, you should learn to respect people's emotions. Calling everyone fake is not a good word to use. Try to learn what you say some other time. My family isn't fake; understand" Alpha's mother said out of annoyance.
