Chapter 35

(Juliette's POV).

"I won't let it," he whispered, "you won't be able to kill your baby wolf, Juliette."

I bit my lip with a pain in my heart like something hard had hit it. Her words were like a spear that pierced my chest until it shattered. I couldn't deny that I could never kill him because that baby wolf was my flesh and blood.

But I was more angry and unaccepting if I gave birth to a baby wolf for Damian because that would give him offspring. Make him achieve victory and I would only feel more defeated before him.

The only way to see him suffer is to make what he wants not materialize. Including having me and a baby wolf.

"Ah, D-Damian..." I moaned as Damian thrust into me all at once and I glared in pain. His big, hard cock plunged into me over and over again without a care in the world for my weakened state.

He continued to grip both of my hands so that I could do nothing but whimper in pain the whole time with tears constantly flowing down the corner of my eyes.

"Ssshh... stop crying, Juliette. I'm going to be gentler, so calm down," he whispered in my ear and I gasped in shock with my mouth gaping open as he again jerked inside me in a single thrust.

I felt like my body would crumble under Damian's control. He was too big and strong for me to deal with. I couldn't do anything within his control. And every touch and kiss he gave me made me feel more and more disgusted with myself.

"Finish this and get away from me!" I yelled in annoyance. I felt my body trembling as I let him continue to touch me and I saw him smirk with satisfaction at my defeat.

Throughout the night Damian didn't let go of me at all until I was unconscious. When I woke up, I was already wearing his black T-shirt with a clean body. Damian was no longer beside me. I don't know where he went, but I saw that there was a tray with food and drinks on the bedside table.

Even if he had prepared food for me, I wouldn't touch it at all.

"You bastard, Damian. I hate you!" I shouted with a tightness in my chest. I kept hitting my chest repeatedly because it was so painful. I couldn't stop my tears from falling continuously.

I felt so dizzy and my body was so weak from the fatigue and troubles I was facing. Until I almost fell over when I tried to get out of bed, I decided to lie back down. I closed my eyes again and hoped that when I woke up again, everything that happened to me was just a dream.

I gasped in shock as I felt something touch my arm. When I woke up with my eyes bulging, I realized that there was Kaye beside me.

I immediately sat up in a wary manner. "What are you doing here? Since when have you been here?" I asked, frightened.

He took out his cell phone and typed something for me. And I read what he wrote on his phone screen.

[I was asked by Alpha Damian to look after you. I went into your room because you had been sleeping all day. I just came to make sure you were okay because you didn't wake up at all.]

I swallowed my saliva with difficulty. I stared at him with my eyes glaring at him. Suddenly I felt my tears welling up again my chest feeling so tight. I squeezed my blanket tightly.

"Why? Why did you do it?" I asked in my low, hoarse voice. And he looked at me with his eyes wide. "You killed my parents, Kaye," I said, then. I felt an excruciating stab of pain in my chest. He had saved my life many times, but I never thought that he was the one Damian had ordered to kill my mom and dad.

He just looked down while clutching the cell phone in his hand.

"Why are you silent? You should have answered my question!" I shouted with my body shaking. This makes me so angry.

He looked at me with his eyes wide. I don't know if it was just me, but his eyes conveyed pain and regret. Then he typed something and showed it to me.

[Whatever I say, it will just look like an excuse. I'm sorry... you can hate me as much as you want because I know you can never forgive me, but I will still apologize to you."]

I smiled wryly. I knew they were both bad, but it was annoying to see how much Kaye felt guilty for what he did, unlike Damian who kept insisting that he was innocent.

"If you feel guilty and want to be forgiven. Why don't you kill yourself in front of me? It would make me feel relieved," I said as I looked at him sharply.

He widened his eyes at my words.

"Why, you can't do it? Don't tell me that your life belongs to Damian," I said, mocking him.

[I'm sorry, I can't do it because my duty is to look after you. Your life is in danger, Luna.]

I snorted in annoyance. "Life? You're still talking about life when in the past you've killed my family and now you're acting to take care of me? You're all crazy bastards!" I shouted hysterically. "Don't you know how disgusted I was when I found out that the people protecting me were the same people who killed my parents?"

He paused. But his eyes continued to look straight at me with a spark of sincerity that made me so sick when I saw it.

"Go away. I don't want to see you," I told him.

He started to stand up and typed something and showed it to me.

[You should eat. Your face is so pale. Soon Alpha Damian will return. I'm sure he'll be worried seeing you like this].

I looked at him, sharply. "I'd rather die than live with the man who killed my parents."
