Chapter 34

(Juliette's POV).

"Are you awake?"

I immediately crawled backward as I woke up and I saw Damian sitting on the couch looking at me. He hurried over and sat on the edge of the bed. And I kept my distance from him even more.

I don't know how long I've been unconscious, but I can still feel a sharp pain in my chest. Like my heart was being squeezed so hard and it was so painful as the knife pierced into Damian's skin. And I still couldn't believe that I could feel pain when Damian was hurting.

"Are you okay?"

I brushed his hand away roughly as it reached out to touch me. I stared at him with my eyes sharpened.

I was so disgusted and hated him...

"Get out of here because I'm so sick of seeing the faces of the man who killed my parents," I hissed.

"I explained to you that they were the ones who started trying to kill me," Damian defends himself and it makes me even angrier that he doesn't seem to care about my feelings.

"Let's say that it was my parents who started trying to kill you, but are they both guilty? Do you think my family is a criminal?!" I shouted at him. I felt my voice tremble and my eyes heat up. I can't look weak and cry in front of him again or he'll think I'm an easy woman to deal with.

"Your mom is trying to interfere. I can't do anythingー"

"You disgust me, Damian. You better shut your mouth otherwise I might hate you even more. There's nothing I can expect from a heartless person like you."

"I'm doing this for both of us."

"Both of us?" I smiled wryly. "You're doing all this just for your own sake!!!" I snapped at him loudly while gripping my blanket. "I really want to kill you with my own hands."

"If you want, we can die together."

I glared at him. He made me unable to move with his every word and attitude that was so dominant. And it hurt me even more that I had chosen the wrong person.

"I regret that I trusting you, Damian," I whispered. My throat felt choked and I swallowed with difficulty.

He growled. "I'll give you time," he said without shame. He stood up and looked at me.

"Time for what? To regret that I chose the wrong mate? That I looked stupid and pathetic in front of him when all this time I never knew that he was the killer of my parents? Don't you have any pity for me at all, Damian!!!" I cursed at him so hard that I could feel my throat almost bursting.

I felt a few drops of tears fall. My defenses were shattered in front of him.

"You fucking bastard!" I screamed. "What are you doing?!" I yelled as he suddenly lunged at my body. Grabbing both my hands above my head while he crushed my body with his heavy body. I screamed out struggling to be released.

"Juliette," he growled as he looked at me with his eyes clenched shut and I felt chills run down my body. "You know that I love you sincerely. I always treat you special because you are something precious to me."

"But in my eyes, you're just a murderer of my parents. And I hate you, Damian," I hissed. I tried to release his grip on my wrist, but it was no use. I don't know what's happening, but his strength is many times what it used to be.

"You have to love me again, Juliette. No matter what happens. You must stay by my side because I will never let you leave me. Do you understand, my love?"

"In your dreams, Damian. I hope you die and suffer in hell with all the regrets that killed you!!!" I shouted. I didn't take my gaze off him.

He grinned, giving me goosebumps. "Tonight is the full moon. Time for you to fulfill your duty as my wife," he whispered over my lips.

I gasped in shock. My eyes widened and as I glanced toward the room's open balcony, I could see the moonlight shining brighter than ever. I felt an overwhelming sense of panic when I saw the terrible lightning in Damian's eyes.

Was he trying to restrain me with a child?

"I would never give a child to a murderer like you!" I shouted. I rebelled again to be released. "Let me go, Damian! Leave me alone!"

But Damian wouldn't listen to a word I said. His mouth began to capture my lips and crushed them ferociously while I could only writhe under him without being able to do anything. He bit my neck until I groaned in pain.

"No, Damian!!!" I kept screaming as his lips continued to ravage my body like a hungry wolf. His eyes blazed like black flames that made me shudder in horror.

I couldn't stop her with all the great power she had. Is it true that he is Alpha Awakening?

I was getting more and more panicked as he tried to undress me and I ended up naked underneath me. I tried to push off his body which had also taken off its clothes and I gasped in shock when I saw the wound on his shoulder. There was still a residue of blood clinging over the wound and it was obviously so painful that I could feel it.

"Why? Do you feel regret?"

I gasped as I heard his words. "In your dreams! Get away from me!" I shouted.

I deliberately pressed on his injured shoulder and he winced in pain. I feel my hands trembling. I don't know why I feel like I can't afford to hurt him, but I can't let Damian continue to touch me and keep me in his control.

If it continues like this, I'll really feel disgusted and hate myself.

He growled. "Stop hurting yourself too, Juliette." he quickly grasped both my wrists with one hand. He knew that by doing so, I was also feeling his pain.

"Leave me alone!" I shouted in protest. "If you keep doing this, I'm going to really hate you, Damian." I looked up at him with my puffy, tired eyes.

"This is already your duty as my Luna. So, just do it and don't resist me, Juliette," he whispered over my lips before he crushed them hard.

I turned my face away to avoid his kiss and I glanced at him sharply. "If I get pregnant. I will kill that child right in front of your eyes," I threatened with tears streaming down my face.
