Dominic's pov.
I slammed the door behind me as I turned to my office, my face contorted with curiosity, I bit my lips anxiously as I turned back to Agatha room. She was definitely hiding something bigger than she said.
“What did she say?” Gath came out of a corner, hid face etched with a mixture of curiosity and concern.
“Where were you?” I snapped as I turned back to the direction he came from. “One moment you were here and the other moment you were gone”.
“I am sorry” he apologized. “I thought it would be better if you talked to her alone”.
“It doesn't matter anymore” I reassured him as I walked passed him, he followed closely behind me. “Agatha is definitely hiding something” I revealed.
“What are you talking about?, Does she still not want to talk?” He scoffed.
“She did talk” I revealed. “But I feel that their us more to what she is saying” I added with a sigh.
“What did she say?” Gath repeated. “What did she say man, don't keep me in the dark” he frowned placing a hand on my shoulder.
“She said that Darla is responsible for the death of her mother” I bolted out, Gath jaws dropped in shock.
“That was bold” Gath scoffed in disbelief. “Why would she accuse Darla if such sin?”
“I don't know”. I shrugged. “She didn't tell me all the details”.
“You should have asked her” he hissed. “Does she want to start a war?, Darla is more powerful when it comes to alliance”. He revealed as he nodded his head in disbelief.
“Her room is right there, you can ask her if you so much want to know” I hissed as I turned to go.
“So what took you so long if you did not ask her anything?”
I ignored him as I hurriedly walked to my office, he followed me constantly hissing on the way.
I got to my office as I flung the door opened in annoyance, I couldn't bear to hear Gath's hissing. “What's is your problem?” I barked.
“What are you talking about?” Gath asked as he looked at me with disdain. “What did I do?”
I rolled my eyes. “You are acting like it is my fault” I snapped. “You should go and ask her to be more detailed”. I barked as my breath became heavy.
A dreaded silence fell among us as we stared at each other, anger etched on our faces.
Gath took in a sigh. “What happened?” He asked as he walked closer. “What did you do?”
“What are you talking about?” I asked feigning ignorance. “I didn't do anything”. I defended.
“Kristen came to me after she was supposedly talking to you” he revealed. “She didn't seem like she was happy though…” he paused as he locked eyes with me.
“We had an argument” I revealed as my face fell to the ground, I staggered to my seat. “I got her angry” u added slumping in my seat, my face buried in my hands.
“What do you want to do?” Gath asked as he sat across me. “You always have an argument with her, why?”
“I don't know” I shook my head. “I really don't know why we always end up in a fight”.
“You don't know?” He scoffed. “You broke her heart into a million… no billion pieces without any reason and now you are asking why she hates you”. He eyed, nodding his head, his face flickered to disappointment.
“What I did was quite painful but at the end, I don't know why I feel like the victim” I revealed as my eyes brimmed with tears.
“She is the victim” he defended. “I told you not to do it” he said.
I raised my brows as I glared at him. “I was here for four years, my heart always felt like I had a deep hole or a lump in my heart each time I wake up, sometimes I always asked myself what life was” I paused as I swallowed hard. “But …Kristen was having fun with her boyfriend and even had the guts to have a child”.
“Isn't that what you wanted?” Gath scoffed. “You said you wanted to leave her because you couldn't face her after you learnt that you were the one that killed her father, so what do you want her to do?, Remain single?”
“If she really cared about me and respected what we had together, she wouldn't have forgotten me so soon”. I defended slamming my fist on the table.
“That table us new” he forced a smile. “But anyway, you don't expect her to remain single for you, I thought you wanted to be happy for her?”
“Happy?” I scoffed. “Her son she had for Noah is already four years”. I snapped.
He nodded his head in disagreement. “I told you, we can't be sure, we don't even know if that boy is her son”.
“So you are saying she is lying?” I frowned.
“I am saying we need to check the fact…” he paused as he flickered his eyes past me. “I could still see the sadness lingering in her eyes”.
“I was the victim”. I scoffed as tears rolled down my eyes.
Gath turned to me, his lips curled into a smirk. “It gets more funny each time I see you cry” he mocked.
“Forget Kristen” I replied as I wiped my tears. “When will you be going back?” I turned to him.
“I don't think that is possible anytime soon”. He shrugged.
My brows furrowed in curiosity. “What are you talking about?, Everything is cleared now, Kristen already knows you as the Alpha”.
“I wouldn't say know me…” he paused as he bit his lips. “We might have a problem” he revealed.
“What are you saying?”. My eyes widened in fear.
“Kristen is suspicious, she doesn't see me as the Alpha” he revealed.
“What did you do?” I frowned as I jerked up from my seat.
“I didn't do anything” he defended.
The door flung open immediately revealing Jake. “Guys we have a problem, the council have declared Kristen's imprisonment” he revealed.
