Chapter 162: Excessive
Seeing Bianca say nothing, Jerry's face naturally darkened.
After all, he was the vice principal of this school.
And Bianca was just a student. Shouldn't students listen to their teachers at school?
If he really went all out to get Bianca expelled, could she really...
"Mr. Nelson." Bianca suddenly put down the cup in her hand on the table, instantly looking up to meet Jerry's somewhat annoyed gaze.
"Blair did so many things, and the evidence is solid. If you really want to keep her here, I have to wonder what kind of relationship you and Blair actually have!"
Bianca stared steadily at Jerry. Jerry pressed his lips together tightly, somewhat hesitant.
Bianca was just too certain, and she showed no regard for his dignity at all.
If he really forced Blair to stay, the chances of success probably wouldn't be too high. He'd have to take it slow!
Jerry slowly let out a breath, then heard Bianca across from him suddenly speak up.
"Besides, school should be the fairest place. Mr. Nelson, since you can represent the school, why don't you tell us - does the school want to tolerate wrongdoing or uphold justice?"
Bianca was waiting for Jerry's response. Her composed manner left Jerry momentarily at a loss for how to reply.
He gritted his teeth. "Bianca, no matter what, I'm the vice principal of this school, and I'm your teacher!"
"Terrence, people at the school say that Jerry went to Mrs. Anderson and pressured her to let Blair pass."
During a break from work, Barry walked in from outside and reported seriously.
He kept looking up at Terrence's expression, afraid that if Terrence got angry, he'd ship him off to some godforsaken place.
Sure enough.
As soon as he finished speaking, a shadow of gloom slowly appeared in Terrence's originally cold eyes.
"Go handle it."
Barry immediately nodded.
As for how to handle it.
Anyone who offended Bianca definitely had to pay a price.
"Never mind, I'll call myself." Just as Barry was about to leave, Terrence stopped him.
School principal Parker Adams was already stressed out from recent events. When he learned from Terrence that Jerry had actually approached Bianca on his own initiative and made such a shameless request, Parker's face instantly darkened.
He called Jerry in with one phone call.
As soon as Jerry entered the office, a cup hit him right between the eyebrows.
"Look at what you've done! Do you know Terrence has already called personally? If this isn't handled properly, the Anderson Group will withdraw all school-enterprise cooperation and donations. When that happens, will you go negotiate partnerships? Will you donate the money?"
Parker's scolding left Jerry's face completely drained of color.
His mouth slowly opened, wanting to explain himself.
He never expected that right after he met with Bianca, someone would come to pressure and threaten him.
"I'll go apologize to Bianca."
After thinking it over, Jerry realized the most important thing was his job.
He volunteered, but Parker said coldly.
"Apologize? If apologies solved everything, we wouldn't need laws. I think you can't continue as vice principal. Why don't you request a transfer yourself, so you don't lose your dignity later?"
Jerry's face became even paler. The pompous official air he'd put on in front of Bianca earlier had completely vanished, leaving only fear and regret.
He clearly knew Bianca was not to be messed with. For that little bit of benefit, why did he have to provoke her?
Jerry was directly transferred. This wasn't a small move.
Although students didn't care much about administrative changes, somehow, whether someone was stirring things up behind the scenes, quite a few students knew about it and were discussing it in private.
That day, Bianca was in the restroom when she heard a discussion from outside.
"Did you hear? Our vice principal offended Bianca and got transferred because of it."
"My god, a vice principal position can just be transferred like that? How powerful is Bianca?"
"She has Terrence backing her. If I were her, I'd be arrogant too."
"So what if she's powerful? She's just a woman who relies on a man. If Terrence doesn't want her someday, she'll be just like the rest of us."
"I think she went too far. What could Mr. Nelson have done? She just got him removed from his vice principal position."
One comment after another reached Bianca's ears until they slowly left. Only then did Bianca come out of the stall.
She didn't deny that Jerry's transfer was related to her. Although Terrence didn't say it, she could roughly guess that he did it.
But still.
Was Jerry really an innocent victim? Not exactly!
That evening back at the apartment, Bianca sat alone on the bed thinking. Terrence suddenly appeared behind her, directly hugging her waist. Resting his chin on her shoulder, Terrence said with a smile.
"What's wrong now? Did someone at school provoke you and make you unhappy?"
Bianca turned to look at Terrence.
"Don't you already know everything that happened at school? And you've already stood up for me, so what could I be unhappy about?"
Terrence continued, "I helped you - are you unhappy about that?"
Bianca lightly touched Terrence's nose, then continued, "I'm very happy. After all, you love me and care about me, that's why you stood up for me."
Seeing that Bianca was genuinely happy, Terrence finally relaxed.
He gently rested his chin on Bianca's shoulder and said with a smile, "Good!"
But that night, Bianca had trouble sleeping.
All she could think about was the discussions she'd heard at school during the day.
When Bianca woke up again, Terrence had already gone to the company. It was the weekend—her corporate overlord still had to work overtime, while she, as a student, could rest.
However, as a motivated student, Bianca planned to go to the library to see if there were any books worth studying.
But before she reached the library, sitting in the car and glancing outside, she happened to see Blair standing with a man in front of a coffee shop.
"Stop the car."
By the time Bianca got there, both of them had disappeared.
Thinking about the face she'd just seen, Bianca's brow still furrowed.
That man! She had an impression of him from her previous life!
In fact, this man was closely related to the mastermind behind her family's destruction in her previous life.
Thinking of her previous life, Bianca gently touched her chest but couldn't help starting to breathe heavily.
The anger in her heart suddenly erupted, but there was no outlet for it.
Blair better not be connected to that man!
Bianca got in the car with a dark expression, not noticing two people hiding in the shadows, watching her drive away.
