Chapter 332 Newborn Elegance
Gwyneth led Isabella inside. "Gabriella, I've brought Isabella to register."
Gabriella's eyes immediately landed on Isabella. When she saw her, a flash of amazement crossed her eyes.
She really did... have a face so similar to Gwyneth's.
"Isabella, welcome to our school." Gabriella quickly responded. "Having you study at our Physics School is an honor for us."
"From now on, if you need anything at the school, let me know right away. Whether it's about daily life or academics, I'll definitely meet your needs."
Isabella nodded slightly. "Thank you, Gabriella."
"Not at all, not at all. This is what I should be doing." Gabriella smiled.
Gwyneth turned her gaze to Gabriella. "Isabella's situation is quite special, as you know. As the dean of the Physics School, I need to let you know Isabella's identity, but other people don't really need to know."
"Do you understand what I mean?"
Gabriella nodded quickly. "Ms. Powell, don't worry. I understand everything you're saying."
"Also, I hope Isabella can enjoy her studies at your school. I don't want her to face any difficulties here."
Gabriella nodded in agreement. "Don't worry about that. I've specifically arranged for Isabella to share a dorm with Kennedy Hope. Kennedy is very sensible and good at taking care of people. I'll have her look after Isabella."
Just then, there was a knock on the office door.
A girl with a high ponytail and a tall figure stood at the doorway. "Gabriella, you were looking for me?"
Gabriella glanced at the girl. "Kennedy, perfect timing."
She pointed at Isabella and introduced her to Kennedy: "This is Isabella, a new physics student in the class of '89. Take Isabella to your villa dorm right now, and make sure to treat her well, understand?"
Kennedy nodded seriously. "Okay, Gabriella."
Gabriella thought for a moment and added, "From now on, you and Isabella will be roommates. You need to take good care of her, okay?"
"Yes, I will."
Kennedy turned to look at Isabella. "Come with me, I'll take you to the dorm."
Isabella nodded, first said goodbye to Gwyneth, then followed Kennedy out of the dean's office.
After leaving the office, Kennedy looked at Isabella and formally greeted her. "Isabella, hello. Nice to meet you, I'm Kennedy."
Only then did Isabella get a good look at Kennedy's features. She had very sharp features that gave off a strong presence, but her tone and eyes were gentle, not the difficult-to-approach type.
Isabella nodded. "Kennedy, please take care of me from now on."
Kennedy raised her eyebrows slightly and said, "I'm in the same year as you."
"You're in the same year as me?" Isabella asked uncertainly.
"Of course." Kennedy pointed to the name tag on the upper left of her uniform, which read "Class of '89 Physics Department Kennedy." She smiled. "What would be the point of lying to you?"
Isabella: "Alright then."
When Gabriella said Kennedy would look after her, she had assumed Kennedy was an upperclassman.
"What's your relationship with Gabriella?" Isabella asked. "She seems to trust you a lot."
Kennedy waved her hand. "I won a first place in a physics competition, and Gabriella reached out to invite me to join the Physics School. We got to know each other through that. I came to register a few days early, and seeing Gabriella was overwhelmed with recruitment, I've been helping her out."
Kennedy smiled. "Probably because I've been reliable these past few days, Gabriella entrusted you to my care."
Isabella followed Kennedy toward the villa dorms. On the way, she saw a group of young men and women gathered around a photo wall, discussing animatedly.
"Magnolia Baldwin and Natalia Ruth are also freshmen this year!"
"This means all four great beauties of the nobility are here!"
"Magnolia is truly Magnolia! Even her photo is so beautiful!"
"Natalia is just as good, okay?"
"If you ask me, Arabella Howard from the third year is still the most beautiful!"
"..."
Seeing such a lively scene, Isabella couldn't help but stop to take a look.
She saw an entire wall covered with freshman photos, with a banner reading "Class of '89 Freshman Showcase."
"It's an annual tradition for the school to collect freshman photos in advance and make them into a photo wall," Kennedy explained. "This way, everyone can get to know each other beforehand, at least know what everyone looks like."
Kennedy's photo was also on the wall, though not particularly prominent.
Isabella's photo wasn't there, because she enrolled suddenly and the school hadn't had time to get her photo.
Isabella saw the photo of Magnolia they were discussing. In the photo was a girl with very clean and delicate features, an immaculate aura, with a slight smile in her eyes.
"She really is a beauty." Isabella couldn't help but look at Magnolia's photo a few more times.
She also found "Natalia."
Natalia had a different vibe from Magnolia. She looked like the lively and active type, with an unrestrained and bold smile, bright eyes and white teeth, radiating youthful energy.
"This one's a beauty too."
Isabella felt it was worth coming just for this eye candy.
But she had just heard there were four great beauties.
She'd only seen two.
"Where are the other two beauties?" Isabella raised her eyebrows.
Kennedy reminded her: "The other two aren't freshmen this year, so they're not on the freshman photo wall. But the school only has about a thousand people, so you'll eventually see the other two."
"They're Arabella from the third year, and Liliana Jordan from the second year."
"Arabella, Liliana, Magnolia, and Natalia are recognized as the four great beauties of the nobility. Among them, Liliana comes from the Jordan family, one of the seven great clans, while Arabella is from the Howard family, ranked eighth among the thirty-six noble families. Magnolia's Baldwin family ranks eleventh, and Natalia's Ruth family ranks twelfth among the thirty-six families."
In short, they not only had stunning looks, but their family backgrounds were also among the top in nobility.
You could say they had both looks and background.
Just the photos of Magnolia and Natalia alone made countless newly registered male students stare, reluctant to leave the photo wall.
Suddenly, someone exclaimed:
"The student council where Arabella is has come to recruit!"
"What? Did I hear that right, Arabella?"
"Where? I want to sign up!"
"..."
Seeing people running forward, many others immediately swarmed in that direction.
Kennedy looked helplessly at their retreating figures. "These people sure have their ears to the ground."
Isabella raised her eyebrows slightly in confusion. "What they said is true?"
Kennedy nodded. "That's right, today is indeed the day the student council comes to the Physics School to recruit."
And because of Arabella's outstanding performance in the student council, she had now been promoted to student council president.
"If we keep walking forward, we should see the student council recruitment booth soon."
Isabella nodded and continued walking forward with Kennedy.
Along the way, there were many activities, all for freshmen—welcoming events, free gift giveaways. The atmosphere was quite lively.
After walking a bit further, sure enough, Isabella saw the student council recruitment booth Kennedy had mentioned.
Many people were gathered around the booth, though most weren't there to join the student council, but to see Arabella.
Arabella sat at the table, receiving application forms.
Next to her sat a girl with long hair braided into pigtails. "Arabella, you're so popular. Look how excited these people are to see you."
Arabella smiled faintly.
