Chapter 331 Enrollment
Isabella glanced at Kismet and Finnegan.
"Drag them away, and don't ever let them appear in front of me again."
"Anyway, wherever I am, there's no place for them."
Hearing Isabella's high-and-mighty tone, Kismet instantly became like an enraged lioness: "Isabella, who do you think you are? What gives you the right to do this? Don't think that just because a sparrow flies up to a branch it can become a phoenix. Let me tell you, I grew up in this castle! I've lived in this castle longer than you have!"
Isabella lazily narrowed her eyes at her and urged the guards: "What are you standing there for? Hurry up and drag them away!"
"Pardon us, Ms. Kismet Powell, Mr. Powell."
The guards grabbed Kismet and Finnegan.
Kismet shouted in shock and anger: "Let go of me! You bastards, who gave you permission to do this? I'm going to tell my grandfather, you'll all be finished sooner or later..."
No matter how much she shouted or struggled, the guards "dutifully" dragged Kismet and Finnegan out of the garden.
After all, they knew clearly who the real master of this castle was.
Within the Powell family castle, although several elders and their descendants all had the surname Powell, Gwyneth's father had no blood relation to the elders. Going back thousands of years, perhaps their ancestors were related, but now, they could only be said to be descendants of the Powell family.
Additionally, there were some people in the castle who didn't even have the surname Powell and weren't descendants of the Powell family - they had simply joined the Powell family as exceptions for various reasons.
Kismet was thrown out of the garden. The lead guard said somewhat awkwardly: "Ms. Kismet Powell, you'd better not approach Ms. Ansley Powell in the future, otherwise, we will have to take action against you."
Kismet screamed in rage.
She glared fiercely at these guards, "You bastards! I'm going to kick all of you out of this castle!"
The guards exchanged glances, feeling helpless.
They were just following orders.
Kismet then glared at Isabella's leisurely figure in the garden, furiously making threats: "Isabella, you bitch, you're despicable, you're shameless, I won't let you get away with this!"
After making her threats, Kismet was forcibly dragged away by Finnegan.
After Kismet was dragged away, the entire garden suddenly became quiet.
Isabella leaned back on a garden bench, squinting at the sun in the sky.
The climate in Novaria was very different from Lumaria. It was mild all year round, without the scorching heat of summer or the bitter cold of winter - quite a suitable place for retirement.
Isabella sat on the bench, and in a drowsy state, she felt someone walking toward her.
Isabella opened her eyes a crack and saw it was Yasmin.
"Am I disturbing you?" Yasmin asked softly, sitting down beside her.
Isabella shook her head and asked, "Are you also out here to get some sun?"
Yasmin smiled slightly, "I heard from Gwyneth that you're going to report to Radiant University tomorrow?"
"Yes."
"Radiant University, that kind of elite academy, might not be quite what you imagine," Yasmin said.
Isabella glanced at her sideways, "What do you mean?"
"Elite academies aren't that large in scale."
Yasmin had learned that universities in Lumaria often had tens of thousands of students, but Radiant University, from freshman to senior year, had only about twelve hundred students in total.
Novaria's population was already sparse, and besides, there were only those forty-three noble families in all of Novaria. The number of young people of appropriate age from these forty-three noble families added up to just that - no more.
"Because it's all children of nobles, the atmosphere might not be as harmonious as you imagine," Yasmin reminded her. "Those spoiled rich kids can really cause trouble."
Isabella narrowed her eyes and said in a low voice: "Anyway, I won't bother anyone unless they bother me first."
Yasmin nodded in agreement, then added: "I'm also in the Physics School. If anything comes up, you can come find me."
Yasmin was the same age as Isabella, but Yasmin had enrolled last year and was now a sophomore.
So her reporting time was different from Isabella's.
"I'm going to report today," she said, getting up to leave and smiling at Isabella. "Before I left, Gwyneth specifically told me to look after you at school."
"I'll take Gwyneth's words to heart. When you get to school tomorrow, we'll see each other."
"Okay." Isabella nodded. "See you tomorrow."
——
Early the next morning, Isabella stood in front of the mirror adjusting her school uniform.
The uniform had been delivered by the school yesterday. Isabella was quite surprised - just a school uniform, yet Radiant University had actually sent someone to deliver it personally.
The uniform was blue and black, not much different from her old high school uniform, with the "Radiant University" emblem on the upper left corner.
There was also a name tag pinned to the upper left corner that read: "Class of '89, Physics Department, Isabella."
"Isabella, are you ready?"
Gwyneth's voice came from downstairs.
"Ready."
Isabella adjusted her cuffs and quickly went downstairs, following Gwyneth out of the castle and getting into the car heading to Radiant University.
Gwyneth had pushed aside all her business today to personally accompany Isabella to registration.
The car soon entered a very wide road, lined with various restaurants, supermarkets, and convenience stores.
Occasionally, groups of two or three students in school uniforms could be seen on the road.
Isabella guessed they were getting close.
Sure enough, the arched main gate of Radiant University appeared ahead.
The driver drove through the arch and onto the campus roads.
Rows of identical, neatly arranged villas could be seen along the roadside.
Isabella was puzzled, "Why is this still a villa district?"
Gwyneth glanced over and said: "These are student dormitories."
Isabella was slightly stunned, "Student dormitories need to be built as villas?"
This was unheard of to her.
Gwyneth smiled, "There aren't many students, and with financial support from the seven great families, there are definitely conditions to build villas as student dormitories. Usually, one villa houses three to four students."
Isabella nodded in understanding.
The car passed through the main campus road, winding around for a few minutes before entering the Physics School area and stopping in front of a building about twenty stories high.
Isabella got out of the car and followed Gwyneth inside.
They took the elevator to the eighteenth floor and came to an office.
Isabella glanced at it - it read "Physics School Dean's Office."
Gwyneth knocked and entered.
At the desk sat a woman around forty years old, wearing glasses with an elegant demeanor.
This was Gabriella Jade, the Dean of the Physics School.
When Gabriella saw Gwyneth arrive, she was first startled, then quickly stood up, "Ms. Gwyneth Powell, if I'd known you were coming, I would have met you at the school entrance..."
