Chapter 333 Chapter 333 She deliberately caused her child to die.

The cup shattered at Eileen Stevens' feet, and she took two steps back, silently leaving the hospital room.
As soon as she stepped out, someone pulled her into an embrace.
Catching a whiff of a familiar scent, Eileen froze. "Niles Hawke?"
She quickly dragged him into the elevator and asked, "How did you find me here? What if someone from the Stevens family sees you?"
Niles furrowed his brow. "I don't think I should be hiding."
Eileen sighed. "It's not about hiding. This whole mess is pinned on me. If the Stevens family finds out about you and me, they'll definitely come after you!"
A glimmer of amusement flashed in Niles' eyes. "What exactly is our relationship?"
Eileen paused, opening her mouth in surprise before retorting, "You still have the energy to joke around?"
Niles didn’t press further. He lifted her chin to examine her closely and asked, "You didn’t get hurt, did you?"
Eileen shook her head. "No, Lynx Black stopped me."
Niles replied, "Now you owe him another favor."
He led Eileen to his car. "Let's head back to the apartment. Lynx Black will come by later. You need to explain everything in detail, and then we can make a plan."

Eileen asked, "You don't suspect me at all?"
Niles playfully tapped her forehead with his finger. "Have you been infected by the Stevens family? What kind of nonsense is that? Killing Myrtle Stevens' baby would only bring you trouble."
Eileen rubbed her forehead and said, "Just like Myrtle said, it’s to prevent Grandpa from giving her the shares."
Niles Hawke smiled faintly and said, "You managed to take millions from my account, and you're worried about a few shares?"
Eileen Stevens felt a wave of embarrassment wash over her. There was no escaping the fact that she was a hacker; Niles knew she had stolen the money, and in his mind, he was blaming the entire incident on the company. This only piled more debt onto Eileen.

Fortunately, Niles didn't suspect anything else.
Even regarding the Scarface incident, he assumed Eileen had simply used her hacking skills to investigate the man's background.
Once they arrived at the apartment, Lynx Black was already there. As soon as he walked in, he said, "No, no bribes involved."
Eileen felt a twinge of disappointment. Myrtle Stevens was indeed pregnant, the baby was healthy, and the check-ups were normal. Everything indicated that Myrtle was innocent.
But that also meant Eileen was the prime suspect.
Niles pulled Eileen down to sit and said, "It's your turn. Tell me everything that happened today."
Eileen recounted how Myrtle had argued with her, how she had insulted Eileen's mother, provoking her, and how she had let go and fallen down.
Lynx clicked his tongue and said, "This woman... was it intentional? But why would she deliberately harm her own child? She was crying so dramatically; it didn’t seem fake at all!"
Eileen frowned and replied, "I’m sure she fell on purpose. I reached out to grab her, but she dodged me, as if she wanted to fall!"
Lynx said, "What if she’s truly lost her mind? What if she’s willing to risk her child's life just to get to you?"
Eileen shivered at the thought. If Myrtle was willing to gamble her child's life just to get back at her, then she had no chance of winning this battle.
But she quickly shook her head. "I don’t think so. She cares about the baby. Once the child is born, she’ll secure her place as the daughter-in-law of the Cooper Family, and Caelan Cooper treats her like a princess. She wouldn’t take that risk."
Niles poured a glass of water and handed it to Eileen, saying, "What if the baby isn’t healthy? If it was already at risk of miscarriage, she might have wanted to blame you for it."
Lynx Black shook his head. "There's no evidence. All the prenatal test results show that both the mother and the fetus are normal."
The three of them frowned, unable to make sense of the situation no matter which angle they considered.
Suddenly, Eileen Stevens's phone buzzed. She glanced at her WeChat and stood up, saying, "I need to head to the set. I promised Anne Ross I would pick her up after work to meet with a brand."
Niles Hawke nodded. "Go ahead. Call me if you need anything."
"Okay."
Eileen Stevens hurriedly grabbed her bag and left. Lynx Black stretched and said, "I’ll head out too and see if I can dig up any more information."
Niles Hawke suddenly called out to him, "Lynx Black."
"Yeah?"

"The miscarriage surgery was done at your hospital. Is the fetal tissue still there?"
Lynx Black paused for a moment. "It should be. I didn't perform the surgery myself, but I'll check. Why?"
Niles Hawke frowned. "I just... have an idea. You should go check it out."
At that moment, Eileen Stevens arrived at the set of "The Pampered Consort," where they were filming a scene of Ulyssa Roberts experiencing a miscarriage and framing Della.
Ulyssa Roberts lay on the ground, blood pooling beneath her, her face pale and helpless as she reached out to the prince. "Your Highness! Your Highness! Please save me! Save our child!"
Eileen Stevens was taken aback; it seemed that all women in the world uttered the same lines during a miscarriage.
The prince held her, panic evident in his voice. "What happened? How could this be? Where's the doctor? Where's the doctor?"
Ulyssa Roberts was both shocked and panicked, but her eyes still glinted with malicious intent as she weakly said, "It's the Crown Princess... She sent someone to deliver musk pastries to me and forbade me from giving birth to the firstborn son!"
Della hurried to explain, "It wasn't me! I made those pastries myself; how could they have musk in them?"

"Cut!" the director shouted. "Perfect! Anne Ross, bring out more emotion, make it even more venomous! Zoom in on Anne Ross's eyes, and Camila, you need to look more distressed and panicked. Let's do it again!"
After finishing the scene, Anne Ross wrapped up for the day and pulled Eileen Stevens along to the makeup room to remove their makeup and change clothes.
Noticing Eileen's worried expression, Anne asked, "What's wrong? You look upset. Did something happen?"
Eileen didn't want to disrupt Anne's focus on filming, so she smiled and shook her head. "It's nothing."
As Anne took off her costume, which had layers upon layers, she discovered that her white pants were stained with blood. Frowning, she said, "This blood is pretty gross; it's all sticky on my leg."
Eileen chuckled helplessly. "You should head back to your apartment, take a shower, and change before going to dinner with the brand. You still have time."
Anne nodded. "Sounds good."
As she packed up her costume, she remarked, "Honestly, Ulyssa Roberts is ruthless. She goes through all that trouble to get pregnant, only to get rid of the baby herself. Good thing this is just a drama."
A sudden thought flashed through Eileen's mind, and she blurted out, "Why would she get rid of a child she worked so hard to conceive?"
Anne, not suspecting anything, laughed and said, "Because the child isn't the Crown Prince's! Didn't you read the script? The baby is Casey's. How could she possibly give birth to a child of Casey's and pretend it's royal blood?"
Anne's imagination began to run wild. "Della is the main character. If she were to do a blood test to verify parentage, mixing up royal bloodlines in ancient times could lead to execution, right?"
