Chapter 294 Caught Someone

Chapter 295 Interrogation

In the hall of a villa near Nicholas's dock, Eric was pressing Brice down on his knees.

"Ms. Windsor, this is the case he's been carrying with him."

Eric handed a case to Diana. Just as Diana was about to open it, she heard Brice's resentful voice, "Diana, if you enter the wrong password, the bomb inside will explode. Do you dare to take that risk?"

A bloodthirsty emotion appeared in Brice's eyes, and his voice became excited, "You're from the York Family too. You should know that after radiation, tumors get stimulated and grow bigger and bigger. If the medicine isn't given in time, Nicholas's head!"

He laughed wildly, "His head will explode, brains splattering everywhere, and in the end even his own mother won't recognize him!"

Diana stepped forward and slapped him hard without hesitation, then looked at Eric, "Use your gun."

Eric frowned slightly, but in the end chose to trust Diana. After all, everything she had said had been proven right.

If Diana's people hadn't kept a close watch on Brice, they probably wouldn't have been able to intercept him at all, let alone get the anti-radiation medicine.

The moment Eric pulled the trigger, Brice's eyes widened in disbelief, "Diana, are you crazy?"

"You're the crazy one, always using fake bombs. Can't afford a real one?" Diana pushed Brice away forcefully and walked toward the case.

She had already sensed the energy inside the case. No explosives, but the medicine's energy was very strong.

"Send it to the hospital first, have Ethan confirm the ingredients. If there's no problem, we can use the medicine." She handed the case to Eric.

Eric hesitated for a moment and asked, "What about you?"

"I'm going to interrogate these relatives of mine." Diana waved her hand, and Bruce brought Wilford over.

Wilford had already been beaten beyond recognition, but still had the strength to curse.

"Brice, you bastard! You had me and Maeve help you, and you ran off alone!"

"You said it was foolproof, that we'd definitely get the money! You bastard!"

"Ms. Windsor, it was all Brice's doing. We were just following his orders. Please let me go. I'll pretend I know nothing. I'm begging you!"

Looking at Wilford pleading on the ground, then at Brice with his hateful gaze, and then at Diana who had already started selecting golf clubs and baseball bats, Eric finally turned to leave.

Since Diana wanted to be the lady of the Spencer family, having some bloody methods was normal.

Diana finally picked a pink golf club, then swung it hard at the corner of a nearby table.

A loud bang.

A piece of the wooden table corner was instantly knocked off, and the fragments flew right between Brice and Wilford.

Wilford was startled and immediately shook his head repeatedly, "Ms. Windsor, I'm your uncle after all. You can't do this to me! This is illegal!"

"I thought you didn't know there were laws in this world." Diana walked toward Wilford carrying the golf club. "You've done so many illegal things, and you're still afraid of the law? The law probably can't punish you, so I might as well punish you myself."

She swung the golf club a few more times, "Anyway, if I beat you into idiots, no one will hold me accountable, right?"

"Diana! You wouldn't dare!" Brice roared, but his voice was full of trembling.

"I dare. You dared to scheme against Nicholas, so I want you dead." Diana raised the golf club high, "Dare to harm my man, you mastermind will be the first to die!"

Hearing the sound of wind by their ears, Brice and Wilford both closed their eyes.

Diana was closer to Wilford, and Wilford seemed to hear the sound of the club coming down.

"Wait! I know Brice has other accomplices!" Wilford shrieked.

He kept his eyes tightly shut, and when he didn't feel the expected pain, he quickly opened them.

Diana tilted her head and looked at him, "What did you say?"

"Shut your mouth!" Brice struggled desperately but was held down firmly.

Diana lifted Wilford's chin with the golf club, "You, speak clearly. Who else is behind him? Think carefully before you speak. You should know that Nicholas's men all have their methods!"

Wilford swallowed and nodded repeatedly, "Yes, I know, I know. That day I heard Brice communicating with someone in a foreign language, saying he wanted to take over the island and Nicholas's company. I heard Brice call that person Mr. Spencer. That person is also from the Spencer family!"

"He must be Nicholas's enemy, has nothing to do with our York Family anymore. Please let me go, please!"

Wilford kept kowtowing. As soon as he entered the villa, he had smelled blood. Even though the place had been cleaned, he could still feel the overwhelming smell of blood.

Diana's people could casually pull out guns and bring them to a place like this—they could die at any moment!

So what if the police could find them? Once you're dead, nothing matters!

"Ms. Windsor, I've told you everything I know. Please spare me!" Wilford continued to beg. Diana gave Bruce a look, and Bruce immediately dragged him away.

Hearing Wilford's wails, Brice couldn't help but shiver. He felt a chill on his forehead—Diana's cold club was already resting on his head.

"So, uncle, let's discuss this Mr. Spencer. What's his name?" Diana tapped Brice's head with the club repeatedly, making his body tremble uncontrollably.

Seeing him bite his lip tightly and say nothing, Diana clicked her tongue, "No problem. At worst, I'll just check your overseas calls. Just a waste of some time."

"The kids you used for experiments are all in my hands. Wilford should be able to contact him too. You're useless now. Take him away."

She shrugged, and Brice immediately heard the sound of a gun safety being released behind him.

At this life-or-death moment, after only a second's hesitation, he immediately raised his head, "Lachlan. His name is Lachlan. He's Nicholas's uncle, his real uncle."

"Lachlan?" Diana frowned, carefully searching through her memories.

In both her past and present life, she didn't remember Nicholas having an uncle. After his parents Clarence and Seraphina died, Nicholas had always been raised by his grandfather Sawyer.

If Sawyer had another son, he wouldn't have cultivated Nicholas so carefully.

Seeing Diana didn't believe him, Brice continued to explain, "Yes, he said he's an illegitimate son. He mentioned it once when he got drunk in the lab. He said his and his mother's whole lives were ruined by the Spencer family. I guess he's targeting the Spencer family for revenge."

"How is he targeting the Spencer family? Tell me." Diana squatted down, looking at him with interest. "Nicholas has developed into an industry giant over the years. How can he target him?"

If this Lachlan Spencer had any ability at all, Diana would have heard his name, even if he was an illegitimate son.

But she had never heard of any Lachlan. What kind of formidable character could he be?

But Brice's words made her eyes widen instantly.

"Lachlan has been poisoning Nicholas with chronic radiation drugs all along. Otherwise, how would he know about the tumor in Nicholas's head?"
