Chapter 163 All Listen to You
"Frederick..."
Rebecca's breathing was ragged, her eyes unfocused. When she looked at him, she was all soft and gentle, with a hint of huffing protest. "We haven't finished talking about our agreement yet."
"Okay, go ahead."
Savoring her sweetness, Frederick coaxed her with great patience. "I'll listen to everything you say!"
Rebecca's eyes lit up. "Then please let me go?"
"No."
Frederick refused without hesitation. "Becca, I haven't finished talking. I'll listen to you about everything else. But in bed, I'm in charge!"
Rebecca looked pitiful, her back against the bathroom wall, still sliding down bit by bit.
She'd been sick for several days in a row and had finally recovered.
Only to be made love to by him in different ways for several more days.
Rebecca was held in his arms, still able to feel her legs trembling slightly.
Leaning against him, she was all soft, as if she had no strength left at all.
As his arousal gradually subsided, Frederick lowered his head and kissed the corner of Rebecca's lips. "Good girl, Becca... It's all my fault. I won't bully you anymore!"
As if that last bit of energy she'd been forcing herself to hold onto suddenly dispersed, the soft body nestled in his arms became even softer.
Frederick turned on the shower to rinse them both clean, grabbed a towel to dry them off, and carried Rebecca back to bed.
Her body sinking into the soft bed, Rebecca fell asleep almost instantly.
A dreamless night.
When she opened her eyes again, the bedroom was already filled with warm, gentle sunlight.
The feeling of being well-rested was wonderful. The symptoms of her weak back and soft legs had also miraculously disappeared.
After washing up and going downstairs, Layla had already prepared a feast.
Thinking about how, after eating, they could cuddle up and watch a movie together before she had to go back to school, Rebecca looked at Frederick hesitantly. "Frederick... Can I not come back next weekend?"
Frederick suddenly looked up. "Why?"
"The week after next, exams start. I want to stay at school and study hard. Is that okay?"
Rebecca spoke with full confidence, though her eyes flickered.
Frederick saw through her act with just one glance. "Becca, as far as I know, you're first in your class every year. If you still need to study this seriously before exams, what are your classmates supposed to do?"
"Becca..."
Frederick's gaze was teasing. "Give them a chance to surpass you."
Rebecca was dumbfounded.
After much bargaining, it was clear she couldn't win against Frederick.
The final result was still that Rebecca would return to Pinewood Mansion on Friday and go back to school on Sunday.
But Frederick promised he would show restraint.
Although she doubted whether he could actually do it, Rebecca didn't want to argue with him.
Watching a movie, she fell asleep without realizing it. When Rebecca opened her eyes again, the sky outside the floor-to-ceiling windows had darkened.
The dining room was filled with delicious aromas.
After dinner, without any further delay, the Maybach headed straight for Empire University.
The moment she stepped into room 520 of Star Apartments, silence enveloped her, and Rebecca actually felt a sense of discomfort.
The next instant, her phone dinged.
Thinking it was Frederick.
Rebecca picked up her phone—an unfamiliar number.
Answering the call, the voice on the other end was gentle and delighted. "Ms. Getty, your mother's condition has improved. She just mentioned you."
"Really?"
Taking off running, Rebecca rushed out of the campus gates, hailed a taxi, and headed straight to the hospital.
In the special care ward, when Rebecca entered, Alexa was watching that currently popular variety show with a smile on her face.
Time had left elegance and composure on her face, and all the irritability from before had completely disappeared.
"Becca, you're here..."
With just one sentence from Alexa, Rebecca's eyes instantly reddened.
Then she saw Alexa looking behind her. "Becca, where's your father? Why didn't Dad come?"
Rebecca froze, her steps halting.
