Chapter 162 Agreement
"Frederick, everything has a lifespan!"
"You're my treasure, not a thing."
"But if you use it too much, it'll break!"
"Becca, this isn't 'using,' it's called doing beautiful things with the person you love! Besides, Becca, you were enjoying it too just now, weren't you?"
One look confirmed it—Frederick wasn't just good at business, he was incredibly eloquent too.
Arguing with him was just asking for trouble!
Rebecca gave up with a look of complete defeat and simply closed her eyes.
When the alarm went off, Rebecca groggily opened her eyes to find Frederick already fully dressed.
Not only that, but he'd also picked out clothes for her and laid them neatly by the pillow.
Going to the front yard, she saw Alex sitting on the bed in pajamas, rubbing his eyes drowsily, looking half-asleep.
Rebecca secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
"Alex, need any help?"
Hearing Rebecca's voice, Alex didn't even bother changing clothes. He ran barefoot over to Rebecca and hugged her, then tugged at her arm to make her bend down.
His soft little hands touched Rebecca's forehead for a moment, then pressed against his own forehead to compare.
Once he confirmed Rebecca didn't have a fever anymore, Alex's face lit up with a happy smile.
Rebecca's heart melted.
Behind her, Frederick's voice broke the moment, "Go change. Do you want to catch a cold too?"
Alex turned and ran off.
He came back with a fruit platter in his hands.
Handing the platter to Rebecca and pointing at the lazy sofa in the play area, Alex's eyes clearly said: I'll be right back!
With that, Alex turned and ran back to his room.
Bright red strawberries.
Deep purple blueberries.
Fragrant, sweet, and tangy.
Rebecca ate while whispering to Frederick, "Frederick, can we make a deal?"
A deal?
That didn't sound like it would be in his favor.
Frederick looked at Rebecca with amusement, "Let's hear it."
"First, don't be so harsh with Alex! When you're all grumpy, Alex will think you don't love him."
"Okay!"
"Second, don't overdo it."
Glancing at the closed bedroom door, Rebecca mouthed the words "overdo it" and boldly negotiated with Frederick, "I need to rest on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays."
"Becca..."
Frederick said slowly, his eyes full of laughter, "On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, you're at school two of those days, so we can only make love once a week. Is that what you mean?"
She knew his mind worked fast.
But she didn't expect it to be this fast.
Rebecca blinked and said nothing.
Then Frederick conceded: "Fine!"
Rebecca's face lit up.
Frederick said in a low voice, "Move back home, and I'll agree to do it your way. That's more fair, don't you think?"
So all her buildup was for nothing?
Living in the dorm, she could at least guarantee five good nights of sleep, and at most she'd just be tired on weekend nights.
If she actually listened to him and moved back to Pinewood Mansion, given Frederick's behavior these past few days, she wouldn't get any sleep at all.
Rebecca flatly refused, "No way!"
Before they could hash it out, the bedroom door opened, and Alex came running over cheerfully.
After dinner together, as the Maybach drove toward Pinewood Mansion, Rebecca stared blankly at the night scenery outside the window, puzzled, feeling like she'd forgotten something important.
When Frederick had her cornered in the bathroom and was kissing her senseless, Rebecca remembered.
