Henry’s P.O.V.

“How could they treat us like that, bro? And you did nothing. You should have punished that arrogant omega. How could she be so arrogant in front of us? In front of royals?” Helena screamed at the top of her lungs in the end.
“Shut your mouth, Helena.” I roared at her, completely infuriated by her whining and throwing tantrums ever since she entered the pack.
It's not like I wasn't infuriated by the way they laid their conditions and cards in front of us. They didn't disrespect me but reminded me of their strength in the worst way.
All I wanted to lash out and kill that Theo and Rhea on the spot for treating me so lightly, but I controlled myself.
I had already instructed her before leaving the palace that she had to agree to any condition laid out by Rhea to accept Helena as a trainee, but this spoiled brat ruined everything.
Helena thinks that I don’t know why she insisted on being trained by Rhea. This way, she could stay near Theo. She had a crush on him and wanted to pursue him to be her chosen mate.
This wasn’t bad. Among all the eligible unmated alphas and future alphas, Theo is the best.
But my goal was to get close to Rhea. She is an omega, but I sensed her wolf’s strength and power when she came to the royal palace for that meeting.
She tried her best to hide her wolf’s ability, but she couldn’t hide it from me.
In a room filled with alphas, betas, and royals, she stayed calm and composed all the time.
Even if she trained herself hard to be a warrior, a wolf can’t hide its natural nature, and an omega is always the weakest among all the wolves.
Still, she didn’t cower, not even once.
She caught my eye. She was beautiful and strong.
I can’t take her as my chosen mate, but she could be my mistress.
And that’s why I was here. To stay here for a few days, strengthen my relationship with her, and seduce her.
But Helena ruined everything.
“Why are you yelling at me? I did nothing wrong. That omega is the one who needs to put at her place.” Helena yelled at me, thrashing her hands and feet like a mad shrew.
For the first time, I felt like slapping her hard.
Only I know how much willpower it would take me to control my anger.
“Listen to me, Helena, and listen to me very carefully. If you really want to win Theo over, you will go to Rhea and accept all her terms to be her trainee. You will endure the hardship if you really want to win over Theo. Do you really think that having someone like Rhea here, Theo will look at you with all your acts of a spoiled princess?”
I didn’t want to taunt her, but I was pissed, and I didn’t have any outlet to vent my anger.
She blinked harder, looking at me as if I had grown three heads at this very moment.
I huffed and walked towards the balcony. I felt stuffy and needed some air to cool my burning mind down.
I looked around while taking deep breaths after stopping near the balcony rails.
This is a beautiful pack, and the amazing part was the way they had developed their infrastructure.
They had modernized themselves but kept themselves close to nature.
The air around us is still filled with amazing smells of the flora and fauna around the pack house.
I looked down and saw the whole backyard divided into several sections, converting half of the backyard into a kitchen garden.
People working there were meticulous in their work, and their laughter in between their chattering was enough to tell that not only were they enjoying their work but also having a good time there.
Something that I never noticed in the palace staff.
I looked at the other side and saw a beautiful small garden with some stone benches, tables, and reclining-type chairs there. This wasn’t flower season, but the garden was still looking beautiful and well taken care of.
Two gardeners were also working there, and they also had a wide smile on their faces while chatting casually.
I looked around and noticed so many cameras installed in a particular pattern, leaving no room for any blank spot anywhere.
I saw different shapes of buildings at a far distance.
I narrowed my eyes when something caught my eye.
After two buildings far from the pack house, I saw an open ground.
There she was, standing in front of the rows of warriors.
Her posture was straight, with no expression on her face; her petite and small body looked insignificant in front of those giant warriors, but none of them had slumped his shoulders.
She was saying something that I couldn’t hear because of the distance, but they all had a very serious expression.
I felt as if she commanded something, and they started dispersing in a very clean pattern.
“Impressive.” I mumbled with a faint smile on my lips.
She belonged to the royal pack, to my pack, not here.
“Brother.” I didn’t reply to her when she called me softly.
“Her training is tough. I ….. I want to impress Theo, but can you talk to her again and command her to go easy on me?” She requested coquettishly, and I sighed.
She had used this tone so many times in the past, and we had indulged her, but she is not understanding the situation now.
I guess I chose the wrong person to win Theo over.
“We are staying here for a week. You will follow her training session with me so that you can know how she trains. I heard that Theo and his betas are also instructed to be trained by Rhea regularly. So, be good, and try to fit in with them. If you really want Theo to see you as Luna material and not a spoiled princess, put in some effort. I may be his future king, but I can’t force someone to take a chosen mate. Moreover, his fated mate is still out there. You must prove yourself worthy of being his Luna so that he can reject his fated mate willingly.”
I tried to clear the picture in front of her one more time, but I was sure that my sister was a dimwit.
To my surprise, she didn’t utter a word in protest or in reply.
I looked at her over my shoulder and saw him biting her lower lip furiously.
“We have a good relationship with this pack, Helena, and as Dad told us earlier, the support of this pack is important for our family to stay on the throne. That’s why I agree with your plan. Even if you are my dear sister, let me clear something for you.” I said to her in a firm and cold voice this time.
