Chapter 51
VIVIAN POV
I walked into the mansion with my luggages, as I walked in I saw Mira, I took a glance at every corner of the house but I couldn’t find Martha.
“I guess your mom isnt home” I said to Kian.
Kian nodded
He called one of the girls and ordered them to take my luggages in.
“If you take a step” Mira yelled at the ladies and they stopped immediately.
I smiled
“What’s this about?” I asked my gaze on Mira.
She walked towards me slowly as she held the a bottle water filled with waters in her hand.
“Go upstairs Kian” I said but he doesn’t want to leave “please” I added. Then he walked upstairs with my bags.
I faced Mira, my eyes locked onto hers. "What's the problem?" I asked, my voice low and quiet.
But instead of answering, she slowly opened her water bottle and poured it on my head.
I gasped, shocked by the sudden move. Water dripped down my face, soaking my hair and clothes.
Mira's eyes flashed with anger, her face twisted in a scowl. "Just because he gave you everything doesn’t mean you can have it all” she said
I took a step back, my heart racing with surprise. "Mira.....” I said.
But she was beyond reason. She poured the rest of the water on me, then threw the bottle at my feet.
"You're just a cheap little tramp," she sneered. "You think you can take everything away from me? I wont let that happen” she said
But without a word, I walked back upstairs into the room.
Kian was surprised when he saw me, he walked towards the door but I stopped him
“Not yet, relax” I said with a big smile on my face.
Kian stopped and his gaze was on me “what are you up to? “he asked
I didnt say anything but instead I walked Into the bathroom and changed my dress. As I was changing I heard the sound of Martha’s car. but then my phone suddenly vibrated, I picked it up and answered the call.
“I am parked at the gate of the mansion” the voice said.
I smiled at him without a reply and walked downstairs.
Martha's face was red with rage as she glared at me. "What in the world are you doing here?" she yelled, her voice echoing off the walls.
I didn't say a word, I just stood there, my eyes fixed on hers. But then she grabbed my arm, her grip like a vice.
"Are you deaf?" she spat, her voice cold and loud. "I asked you a question!"
I gazed at her, my eyes never leaving hers. "Let go of my hands," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. "Now."
Martha's eyes flashed with anger, but she didn't let go. Instead, she pulled me closer, her face inches from mine. "What do you think you are doing?” she asked
I tried to pull away, but she held tight. "Let me go, Martha," I warned, my voice firm.
Suddenly, Kian appeared beside us, his eyes blazing with anger. Mom, let her go," he growled, his voice low and menacing.
Martha's eyes flicked to Kian, then back to me. For a moment, I thought she would refuse. But then she released my arm, her eyes never leaving mine.
"I am only letting this go because you are Kian's mother," I said, my voice firm and steady. "Next time you bully me, I can not assure you of what I will do."
Martha's eyes flashed with anger, but Kian stepped forward trying to protect me.
Martha's face twisted in a snarl, but Kian grabbed her arm, holding her back.
"Enough," he growled, his eyes blazing with anger. "You will not bully Vivian again. Do you understand mom?"
Martha's eyes flicked to Kian, then back to me. For a moment, I thought she would refuse to back down.
I walked back upstairs and held the mansion’s papers.
“I am the owner of the blackwood mansion now, I hope this is clear” I said as I pointed the papers at Martha.
Martha looked so lost and defeated, her eyes wide with shock. "That's not true," she whispered, but I just smiled.
"Were you deaf when the lawyer told you about the will?" I asked, my voice dripping with sarcasm.
Martha and Mira both couldn't say anything, their mouths hanging open in shock. But I didn't give them a chance to talk. I turned to the workers and guards, who were now standing in the doorway.
"Let me start from here," I said in a commanding tone. "All the workers in this mansion are fired, including the bodyguards. All of them are fired."
The room fell silent, the only sound the gasps of shock from Martha and Mira.
"Guards!! Take this thing out of this mansion," Martha ordered, her voice shrill with anger.
As one of the guards moved closer to me, I suddenly picked a gun from one of his pocket I cocked the gun, the metal clicking into place with a deadly precision. The bullet slid into the chamber, ready to fire at a moment's notice. My finger tightened around the trigger, my heart pounding with anticipation.
The guard's eyes widened in terror as I pressed the barrel to his temple. "If you dare," I whispered, my voice cold and deadly.
Martha and Mira cowered in fear, their eyes fixed on the gun. Kian, however, stood tall, his eyes locked on mine with a mixture of admiration and curiosity.
“Easy” he said, his voice low and husky. "I've never seen you held a gun before”.
I smiled and pointed the gun at Mira again “Or should I start with you” I asked my voice cold and low.
