Chapter 347 The Scent of Perfume is Like an Aphrodisiac in the Air
A warm feeling gradually grew in Thalia's heart.
A few nights ago, right before bed, William had shaken her awake from her sleep, and she was quite annoyed.

"I like it." Stars filling the sky, stretching all the way to the mountains—probably no woman wouldn't like this. This kind of luxurious and expensive setup wasn't something just anyone could afford.
"As long as you like it."
"William, you know what? Right now, your image in my mind is really impressive."
She'd filmed so many romance scripts and experienced so many wealthy CEOs in those scripts, but acting and reality were completely different.
The difference came down to love or no love, like or dislike.
William had the advantage of not needing to try—just by standing there, he won over everything.
"When was I ever small?"
Thalia tilted her head, blinked her eyes, looking obedient. "There was! When you scolded me."
William said, "If you don't provoke me, I won't scold you."
"Don't you know that boys should be nice to girls?"
"Thalia, you don't have an ounce of a girl's gentleness, yet you want to enjoy a girl's privileges?"
"Don't I deserve it?"
William glanced at the time, saw it was about right, and turned to go inside. Just as he took two steps, a hand reached out from behind, grabbed his face, and made him turn around. Thalia stood on her tiptoes and kissed him.
She stood on her toes, and he bent down.
When his lips pressed down, the taste of Thalia's lipstick spread through William's mouth.
The scent of the fragrance was like an aphrodisiac sprayed in the air, making William wish he could make love to Thalia right here.
"Quick, the fireworks."
"Didn't we say to set them off after going inside?"
Finn slapped the bodyguard on the head. "Don't you understand what romance is? If not now, when?"
"Haven't you read romance novels or watched romance dramas? This is the most romantic moment."
After Finn finished speaking, he pressed the remote, and with a bang, fireworks exploded in the sky.
Thalia jumped in fright, and William pulled her into his arms.
He deepened the kiss.

When Eleanor returned to the Mitchell Villa after parting with Angelina, she saw the living room in complete chaos.
She asked in confusion.
Hearing this, the maid looked behind her with a serious expression, and only dared to answer when she saw no one there. "Ms. Elowen Mitchell threw a tantrum. She said she saw Mr. Carter going to a hotel with another woman, but she didn't catch them. She came back and gave Mr. Mitchell a huge piece of her mind."

"What are you saying? How dare you gossip about me, just a maid?" Elowen stormed down from the second floor, just in time to hear the maid telling Eleanor about this, which made her even angrier.
She grabbed a vase from the entrance table and threw it down.
Seeing this, Eleanor quickly pulled the maid aside to prevent her from getting hurt.
"I was the one who asked, that's why she said it."
"What are you pretending to be, the good guy?"
"Eleanor, I'm clearly the biological daughter. If anyone had to go into an arranged marriage, it should have been you. But why? Why am I the one who gets hurt? Why am I the one who's humiliated? And you got the company and still have a good reputation?" Whenever Elowen touched on Raymond's matter, she went crazy. Eleanor was used to it by now.
She didn't plan to argue with her, and glanced at the maid. "Go rest. Clean this up tomorrow."
"Okay." The maid nodded repeatedly, scared, not daring to delay.
"Stop right there. Did I say you could leave?"
"Elowen, you've been making the house a mess lately. If you're really upset, go settle the score with Raymond. What's the point of throwing tantrums at home?"
"Blaming me? I'll give you the company—can you even manage it? I'm holding up this mess, drinking with people until I throw up every day, thinking about how to make money while also covering your high expenses. You casually buy a bag for millions of dollars. Do you know how much I have to drink at those dinners? You're unhappy so you blame the whole family? If I'm unhappy, can I just quit?"
"You're unhappy, but you can still use the card for your high spending. When I'm unhappy, I can only deal with it myself and keep working hard to make enough money for you to spend. You're unhappy, right? Well, starting tomorrow, you won't be using my card anymore. I'm canceling all of them."
"You wouldn't dare."
"Watch me." Eleanor turned and left, too lazy to deal with this mess. Who wants to be the sucker?
Eleanor drove away from the Mitchell Villa and found a bar to sit down in.
"Well, isn't this Ms. Mitchell?"
Daniel had just finished dinner with friends when he spotted Eleanor.
"Mr. Wilson, what a coincidence."
"Quite a coincidence. Everyone in Emerald City knows you're a workaholic—company, home, business dinners, three points in a line. You're usually hard to run into. Would you say this is fate?"
"Want a drink?"
"You're buying?"
"Sure." Eleanor moved over and gestured for him to sit.
Daniel could tell right away that Eleanor was in a bad mood today.
He ordered a soda.
"Ms. Mitchell, why don't you tell me what's making you unhappy so I can be happy?"
Eleanor said, "How kind of you."
Daniel shrugged. "I know even if you don't tell me."
"Ms. Elowen Mitchell just left my place after trying to catch someone cheating. I bet she's making a scene at home right now!"
"Mr. Wilson, you really know everything!"
"In my line of work, you need to know a bit of everything. Ms. Mitchell, the Mitchell family mess isn't easy to handle, is it? Why not just quit? I guarantee I can find you a job with an annual salary of over ten million dollars."
"No need to trouble yourself."
