CHAPTER 18

NORAH’S POV

Shot her damn skull “Please don’t, Kyle you can’t do this to me” I pleaded “Who the hell are you to me” Kyle replied “What?” I asked shocked “Your parents kill my parents, so I must kill you” Kyle replied as he corks the gun and pointing it to me “Kyle No!!!!!!!!” I screamed and jumped out of the bed I looked around and realized I am still in the hospital, there is no one with me, not even Kiki. I carried the water right beside me and sprinkled it on my face.

“It was only a dream,” I said trying to calm myself down I got myself on my feet and headed straight to the window.

“dark as hell” I commented before wearing the pair of slippers beside my bed and head out of the room.

I passed through different wards and continued till I got to the reception “Please what is the time” I asked the lady sitting behind the table “8:30 PM” she replied while I nodded I turned around to leave but landed my gaze on a familiar doctor whose name I can’t remember “I can tell you are better now Miss Williams,” the doctor said “obviously and please when am I leaving here?” I asked still keeping my eye on the doctor “once our final test for you tomorrow show you are now good to go Miss Williams” the doctor replied while I nodded in reply.

I went back to my room and picked my phone to call Bran, but his line wasn’t going through so I decided to call Kiki instead whose number still wasn’t reachable. I gave up on my friends and decided to sleep till tomorrow and get the hell out of here but then my phone comes up.

“Hello Norah?” the very sweet voice of Coach greeted from the other side “Good evening ma’am” I replied

“I have got some details about Kyle” Coach Bianca said from the other side Everything about Kyle quickly played in my head and I would have been more surprised about how Coach knew about Kyle, but I remembered I told her everything on phone on the night of the accident while waiting for the cab.

“Are you still there?” Coach asked bringing me back to Life “Wow, how did you do that?” I asked surprisingly “where are you?” Coach asked “I am in the hospital and I don’t even know who is going to sign me out tomorrow” I complained “I will come for you tomorrow and then we can discuss the rest” Coach assured me before dropping the call.

I dropped my phone right beside my pillow and let out a big smile.

“where can Fed and Bran be?”

“How will you be asking me what happened in heaven when we are both here on earth”

“Very rude”

“Fuck you”

I woke up to the conversation of two very familiar voices of Mathis and Kiki

“No F words in my ears dumbasses,” I said with a rough voice “Finally awake!” both of them screamed and jumped on my both sides of the bed “We missed you, idiot,” Kiki said as she pulled me up into a hug while Mathis joined making it a big hug I can see the very big and sincere smiles of Kiki and Mathis and I can tell they are super happy seeing me awake.

“I am very fine now guys,” I said assuring them while they smiled “Good morning Miss Williams” the Female Doctor greeted “morning ma’am” the three of us replied while she nodded.

The doctor took some minutes in performing some tests and observations and also took another couple of minutes to write some things down.

“Get these drugs at the pharmacy, don’t stress yourself for now and once you can do that you can get one of your friends to sign you out,” said the Doctor “I am signing her out and her friends will make sure she has enough rest” replied a very familiar voice of Coach Bianca as she entered through the door We all giggled while the Doctor headed out of the room. Coach pulled me into another round of hug and patted my back.

“The competition is in some weeks to come, so you have all the time to rest,” Coach said She let go of me then I turned toward Mathis “Why don’t we have Bran and Fed here?” I asked looking forward to a reply from either of them “because Kyle took them away” Coach replied gaining the attention of the rest of us

“what?” Mathis questioned in surprise “Since Norah told me about what happened and Kyle’s plot, I took it to myself to help her look into it, so I hired a man who help to keep track of Kyle and monitor his movement” Coach replied “You did all this for me,” I said as water started to pile up in my eye “So last night Kyle took away Fed and Bran in front of your house to their hideout and they are planning to mess them up and by tomorrow Kyle is going to execute the final stage of selling the companies and anything he might have planned, he already got a Belgium Visa, and he is also leaving for Belgium immediately after his plans worked out” Coach explained “so, Kiki is also right about Kyle being one of the Werewolves,” Mathis said in a convincing tone “Can you see now” Kiki said looking at Mathis with disgust “Sorry I didn’t believe you earlier” Mathis pleaded “They kidnapped me too and even promised to kill me but later they got a call which lead to their departure on the proposed day of my death and then the guys found me in a bag where I was sealed” Kiki explained bitterly “I can’t believe all this happened and not in my dreams right now,” I said before going to give Kiki another big hug “thank you for staying alive” I muttered

“I have alerted your parents about the information that I saw on the database and so they are working on it also” Coach added.

“You have done more than enough, and I will forever be grateful,” I said as I hugged Coach again resting my head on her chest for few seconds.

“let’s get you signed out,” Mathis said reminding us we have to leave and get into action.

Coach Bianca signed me out and we got my drugs at the pharmacy before she left us, and I enter Mathis black Range Rover with Kiki.

“where are you going” Kiki asked as Mathis started driving towards the forest “to the hideout” Mathis replied “We need to get them out first,” I said in agreement with Mathis “send the details about this place to your parents,” Kiki said gesturing to me “Nice idea” Mathis replied while I pulled out my phone.

Mathis finally parked the car while Kiki and I jumped out of the two doors. We started making our way towards the entrance without even a pin with us. We opened the door boldly and barged into the house and started searching the rooms.

“Welcome,” a voice said from the dark room behind us which look like a supposed sitting room, we tried to turn around, but we were met with an iron metal on our neck. We fell to the ground and everything started fading out.

“Norah!! No no no!” I can hear Bran crying out faintly before it finally went blank.
