Chapter 95 Chapter 46

Chapter 95 Chapter 46
Lhalhaine could not bear to blink, afraid to lose the person in front of her. Was what she was seeing real, or was she having an illusion again? Tyeron is alive, and here is the man in front of her, carrying their child.

"Ty...you're alive," she said tearfully and quickly stepped closer to the man.

But she stopped when she saw that he wasn't moving. He didn't smile; he didn't greet her either.

Instead, his face was full of confusion instead of longing. All she could read on his handsome face was bewilderment, and she couldn't handle what he asked her even more.

"Who are you?"

She blinked in disbelief. Did she hear right? The man asked her who she was, but he didn't say why. Before she could even answer, Lara pulled her, causing her to turn towards her.

"Let's go." Lara held her elbow and pulled her away.

"But—” she was about to protest, but she didn't give her a chance.

IN THE KITCHEN, they faced each other. She glares at Lara with confusion. She’s having a complete mix of emotions at this moment.

“Why did you stop me and bring me here? Why does it seem like Tyeron doesn't know me? Is that him? But didn't Mikael say he was dead? Why is he here now—” she asked in confusion, not realizing she had started to cry from the mixed emotions she was feeling at that moment.

No words came out of Lara's mouth; she just hugged her and stroked her back, making her cry even more.

"Sister, why? Answer me! I'm going to go crazy thinking about why this happens.”

"Lyn, listen, whatever reason Mikael had for hiding the truth from us, it was surely for the good of everyone, so please don't be angry with him. And about Tyeron's behavior, he lost his memories specifically from the recent years, Lyn. He was in a coma for almost two years, so that's the effect of his long sleep. So, I hope you understand what will happen and prepare yourself for the changes. You need to be strong, Lyn, so you and Tyeron can get through this," her sister Lara explained at length.

She went silent, slowly processing in her mind what her Ate Lara had said.

"If that's the case, she doesn't know me? He doesn't remember our past?" Her voice was filled with sadness and despair.

Her sister Lara nodded sadly. "Yes, Lyn, but Tyeron's amnesia is only temporary. His memory will return, but he can't be forced to remember the lost memories because it might be fatal for him, so he must remember them on his own.”

She sat down on the floor, her knees weak from what she heard, her chest tight with pain, and she felt dizzy from overthinking.

"Lyn, are you okay?" her sister Lara asked with concern.

She shook her head. "No! I'm not okay.”

"You need to be okay. Are you going to give up now? Now that Tyeron is still alive, you can make him fall in love again. It's just his mind that forgets, but I know his heart hasn't forgotten you. He will recognize you; you just need to knock again. Do you understand me? Fight for yourself and your child," her older sister Lara advised seriously.

She fell silent. "You're right, sis, I need to make him fall in love with me again...for our child and us."

Lara nodded in agreement with what he said.

She was about to head to the living room when someone grabbed her elbow. She turned to the owner of the hand and was met with Mikael's serious face.

"Can we talk?" he softly asked.

She stared at the man and sighed.

"Okay," she agreed.

They headed to the garden, and when the man stopped walking, she stopped as well.

"I'm sorry," he apologized in a soft voice.

She looked up, the man's eyes met hers, and she could see that his apology was heartfelt.

He shrugged. "You don't need to. I know you have a heavy reason for lying to me and hiding the truth. Whatever it is, I won't force you to tell me, as long as the important thing for me now is for him to come back, even if...even if he no longer remembers me,” she said sadly and looked down.

Mikael took her hand, which she didn't expect the man to do.

“I’m very sorry—”

He didn't let the man finish; she immediately covered his mouth with her finger.

"It's okay, I'm not mad at you; instead, I'm thankful because you take care of Throne and me and Tyeron. He is really lucky to have you as his friend as well as the others...so don't feel guilty anymore," she insisted seriously and hugged the man.

They were separated when he heard his child's voice.

"M-Mother!!"

She looked in that direction. She was surprised to see Tyeron standing there, his face unreadable.

"Is he getting jealous? Does he remember me now?” her mind asked as she watched the man.

She only let go of Mikael when Throne ran towards them.

"Mommy," Theron called out to her and raised his hands, wanting to be picked up.

"Yes, baby, you miss me?" she asked with a smile and hugged it.

"So, you are his mother?" a serious question from Tyeron.

She looked at the man with a serious face as he stepped towards where she was standing. His eyebrows were furrowed as if he were about to fume with anger. She could not bring herself to give him a reply.

"Is she your wife, Kael?" he seriously asked his friend.

He heard Mikael chuckle softly and turned to her, then whispered.

"Even if his mind can't remember, his heart hasn't forgotten you, Lyn. The way he looks at me right now is as if he wants to kill me."

She could not help but laugh at what the man said; he didn't know it, but she was amused by the expressions Tyeron showed.

"Are you just going to flirt there? Are you just going to ignore me?" Tyeron asked them irritably.

She smiled. "I'll go ahead inside," she said with a smile, then turned away.

"Hey! Don't turn your back on me! I'm talking to you!" His voice was loud as he scolded her.

But she didn't look back; she just kept walking.

"Ty, let's endure again. I'll make it up to you, little by little. I hope you won't make it harder for me," she whispered as she walked the path towards Lara's house.
