Chapter 88 Chapter 39

Chapter 88 Chapter 39
After they finished eating, a man brought out the dessert. She noticed there was a lot of it, but there was only one plate and one fork.
"Ah, why is there only one?" she asked, pointing at the plate.
"I'm not a fan of sweets, darling, so you can have it all," he explained gently.
She lowered her gaze. She didn't know why, but she suddenly felt sad. However, her face brightened when an idea came to mind.
"Ty..." she called to the man, who was looking ahead at the flat-screen TV.
"Say ahh," she said, holding out a spoonful for him.
He looked at her, and she could see the amusement in his eyes. She smiled a little.
"I can't," he said, shaking his head.
She pouted. "Come on, it's delicious, I promise. Besides, it's sad to eat alone, and I won't be able to finish it. Come on, baby, let's eat," she said sadly, with a hint of sweetness.
She saw the man freeze.
"W-what did you call me? Say it again?" he asked in surprise.
She stared at him in confusion.
"I said, 'Eat now, baby.'"
He stared at her, and moments later, she noticed his cheeks and neck turning red.
"Are you okay?" she asked worriedly as she wiped the man's forehead.
"I-I'm okay. Don't surprise me like that," he whispered breathlessly.
"What did I do?" she asked in confusion.
He averted his gaze, so she sighed and nudged him, prompting him to look at her.
"Here, eat it now," she ordered with a smirk.
He looked into her eyes, then down to her nose and lips. His gaze lingered on her lips, causing her to look away.
"Eat it first," he ordered.
Although she was puzzled, she obeyed him. She took a bite of the avocado salad, chewed it in front of him, and nodded.
"It's delicious, I promise," she commented happily.
"Sure?" the man asked.
She quickly nodded.
"Sure," she replied immediately, even giving him a thumbs-up.
He smiled unexpectedly, and she couldn't help but think how cute and handsome he looked.
"That's good. Let me taste it now," he said in his sexy voice.
She wasn't paying attention. She was about to scoop another bite when the man suddenly pulled her closer and captured her lips.
"Hmmpp—"
It wasn't just a simple kiss. He slipped his tongue into her mouth, deepening the kiss. A strange tingling sensation spread through her body, making her feel as if every hair on her body was standing on end. She slowly closed her eyes.
"It's good," he commented with a smile as he pulled away.
She couldn't say anything. She unconsciously took another bite of the avocado, but somehow, it didn't taste as delicious as what the man had just made her experience. She blushed at the thought.
After eating, she began to feel sleepy, but she tried to fight it. The man gently held her head and rested it on his shoulder, making her look up at him.
"You can sleep if you're tired. I'll wake you up when we arrive in Manila," Tyeron said gently before kissing her forehead.
She shook her head.
"I don't want to sleep."
"Why?"
"B-Because if I sleep, our time together will be wasted. When we arrive in Manila, you'll be leaving, and I won't get to see you anymore. So, if possible, I want to memorize your face, your expressions, and your voice because I'm going to miss you, Attorney," she explained, tears welling up in her eyes.
The man's eyes also became teary.
"Ahh, don't cry. I promise I'll be back as soon as I can, so wait for me, okay? We'll have video calls and chat, so don't be sad anymore. I'm going to miss you too. I'll go crazy if I don't see you, so expect me to come back as soon as possible. And when I return, I'm going to marry you, Lyn. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, so wait for me, okay?" he finished, wrapping her in a warm hug. He gently stroked her hair while she simply closed her eyes.
"Promise me that, okay?" she said softly, sniffing.
"Yes, I swear."
"Don't cry anymore, okay? Do you want me to sing you a song?" he asked with a smile.
"You will? Really?" she asked like a child.
He nodded.
"Of course. Wait for me here," he replied before standing up.
When he returned, he wasn't alone. Mikael and Cyrex followed behind him.
Mikael was holding a guitar, Cyrex was carrying another one, and Tyeron had a microphone.
Tyeron helped her stand up before they positioned themselves in front of her. The two men sat down while Tyeron remained standing. She covered her mouth in shock.
A moment later, the two men began playing the intro.
"The touch of your hand says you'll catch me wherever I fall. You say it best when you..."
From the very first line, she could feel Tyeron pouring his heart into the lyrics, even with his eyes closed. She couldn't take her eyes off him.
During the second and third lines, he started dancing. Then he opened his eyes, smiled warmly at her, and pointed in her direction.
When the song ended, Mikael handed Tyeron a bouquet of flowers. She had no idea where they had come from. Tears of joy streamed down her face as she stepped toward the man and hugged him tightly.
She could hear their companions clapping, and Shyra's excited scream certainly didn't go unnoticed.
"EH!! I wish I could do the same thing as you guys! Stay strong!" Shyra screamed excitedly.
She simply laughed before looking at the man, who was already staring lovingly back at her.
"Hey! You two, go back to your seats. You're becoming an eyesore," Heckson reprimanded as he peeked over.
"Son's right, so get a room, you two," Cyrex added, slipping his hands into his pockets before turning away.
As he passed by Shyra, he suddenly stopped. Her friend was left speechless and could only shake her head.
Meanwhile, Mikael simply laughed before quietly walking away.
She gasped when Tyeron pulled her back toward their seats and immediately captured her lips in another kiss.
