Chapter 115
I look at Daniel and he nods. I know he wanted me to rest. My body may be better but I still have to rest sometime because the stress can hurt my heart. I look back at my best friend “yes and thank you I will do as you all say my fight is done and I just want to enjoy life. I only want to change one thing and that’s all finally reports go to Daniel he will be taking my place as the President. I can see all the amazing things he can do with the club and with you guys I will be there for anything you all need help with but I don’t want to risk my life anymore than I have to.” I look up again at the man I think will heal my heart because he has already made me feel safe. “Is that ok with you?”
Daniel smiles and kisses my head again. I can really get used to this. “Yes I will do what ever I can for my girls and for our team. We are in this together and I think it is about time you get to live for you and not in survival mode. But I am going to start you a bath so you are clean before the baby shows up.” He leaned in next to my ear and whispered in my ear “I seen your eyes light up about the baby maybe we can keep him. Amelia would love a brother and I know you want I full house. There is no need to wait. I will be back.” He kissed my cheek and walks to the end of the bed and grabs my pajamas before going in the bathroom. I can see his bag in my walk in closet. His team must have moved his stuff. He was telling me on the way up he doesn’t know how it happened so fast but after I was in trouble he knew he couldn’t be away from me and is falling in love with me. I think that I am too he has supported me and told me the truth while standing by me when his friend for a long time betrayed us. I look back at Opal and she is pointing to the end of the bed for them to put the crib, they even brought the changing table and it is full with everything the baby would need. Normally I keep them till they get adopted out but he wants to talk about us keeping him so things will change for the better around here.
“He will be good for you and you can see that he loves you. I am happy for you.” Opal came and gave me a hug and everyone left the room for now and closed the door. I went into the bathroom and lean on the door frame watching him add relaxing salts to the water. I go in and close the door knowing the baby monitor was on to Opal. They are all taking turns showering in their own rooms
Daniel looked back at me “your bath is about ready. If you don’t mind I wanted to join you I know what your condition is and I just want to hold you and take care of you no funny buisne…” I walk over and cut him off by pulling him down and kissing him and pull away then nod. “Ok I will go get clothes and you can get in I will be right back.” He kissed my head then walked away.
I get undressed and climbed in the tub. I get my hair wet then lean against the tub. When he gets back and undresses I see all his tattoos and I cant wait to hear the stories of how he got them. I lean forward and he climbed behind me. I laid back on him and he held me tight and started to talk to me. “I know this is fast and I don’t want to scare you but with the baby showing up it changes how long I was going to take to get to this point but I want to marry you and be the baby and Amelia’s dad. I know your medical problems and none of it bothers me. I just want you and those kids anything else would just be icing on the cake. What do you say will you marry me?” He slides a ring on my finger while I nod. I cant stop the happy tears. I know sex is off the table till the doctors fix me. I kiss him like my life depends on it.
When he pulls back I say “yes I will. We have to give him a name. I was thinking Samuel what do you think?” I cant stop smiling I get babies. I don’t care how they came into this world after everything I have been though.
“I love that name baby now turn back around so I can wash you hair you need to relax.” I did just that and that is how we spent our night him taking care of me I wasn’t even allowed to dry myself. He told me when I protested because in the water he couldn’t see my scars that the surgery couldn’t heal and I wasn’t sure I was ready for that. But he kissed them and said the showed I was a survivor. Then he carried me to bed after we for ready and I see a pizza setting on my bed and everyone sitting on the floor with more and drinks. He set me on the bed while setting us up a spot on the floor with out family and after he moved me and grabbed my chicken pizza off the bed and our drinks he sat down I see all the smiles.
We then started to discuss the wedding and adoption when they brought the baby in and handed him to me. He looks perfect, Daniel doesn’t take him from me just moves closer and holds us both for a bit then starts feeding me while I hold my son. They crack jokes at me and Daniel and say how we are perfect for each other and he moves me to the bed and does something I didn’t expect he moved the crib to his side so I can sleep better tonight we all then went sleep.
