Chapter 114
Opal opens the door and in walks Dragon and Rage walking in with Rusty in handcuffs. “Well it looks like fun had been happening in here. But why are there 2 Daniels and who is the fake on tied to the chair?” Rage says pushing Rusty into one of the chairs.
Rusty being the stupid fool he is started yell at David not remembering we are here listening. “You two said you had this under control you said you could get her under your control? David I told you your side piece would get you in trouble and you wouldn’t listen to me. If you would stop letting these women control you I could be on my way to getting my club back….” He stopped talking when we all started to laugh at him.
Dragon spoke this time and I don’t blame him that damn club isn’t even mine any more. I swear these people don’t use there damn brains. I mean what the hell does this have to do with me anymore. “What does hurting Ice have to do with my club? The one she runs isn’t your old club it’s hers she started it and when they were drugging her she gave up on it to protect herself. She has it back but she has no say in my club just like I don’t in hers. We work together yes but that has nothing to do with the lot of you. We renamed the club as you can see from you cut it is new and says Dragon MC. My guys moved in and took over. She would give up her MC but she hasn’t found that right person yet. I am guessing Goose just got himself put in time out till Harley says otherwise. Should have talked to Ice Goose you knew what would happen if they found out you were stupid enough to tell them people. Rusty you will die when I say so but for now Ice has a nice cell for you to stay in and by the way we already got William and the rest of them so don’t think help is coming your way.”
I took a deep breath because all I want to do is shoot them and be done with it. Why do I always have to be the bigger person. That when Rusty starting acting a fool again. “She should have minded her own business and you would have never been here to start with. Its all on her because she can’t seem to let things happen and ignore it like other clubs. I should have killed her when she got her but I could never figure out how to since everyone liked her and she was in with the cops. What biker club gets in with the cops. She gives all a bad name.”
I started laughing and he is looking at me like I lost my mind but my friend and family in this room knew what was making me laugh. Like he could have killed me. But what surprised me was Daniel answering him, “I swear when my dad told me you were stupid I thought he was joking but come to find out you really are just that stupid. You couldn’t have killed her and of course she stopped you she was friends with your son. She trained with him too. She also would have shot you if you got close enough not to mention anyone on this compound for the most part and now you sure and the hell wont be able to. I already planned on taking over whatever she wanted me to. So none of you will see daylight ever again. But I will let Harley pick cells for you. Come on Layla lets go finish what we need to so we can go rest.”
He looked me in the eyes and smiled at me like I was all the mattered. He has defended me and kept me as safe as he could since I met him so I did something no one expecting and grabbed his hand and we walked out. I know the girls with have question. Hell I do to this is all a lot. We went to get my dad and took him to my mom and that was heartbreaking but they said she would be ok so we moved her and a nurse to my dads cell. I don’t know what all was after them so my dad wants to stay down there in the apartment cell to keep my mom safe. She will never be able to walk again and has 1 hand that doesn’t work.
We didn’t stay long she isn’t awake and I am not ready to forgive him. I know he was held captive but how can you not notice Bella was full of shit. One day I will forgive him but not now. We go and check on the kids and they are all asleep and I see my baby girl curled up in the middle of my bed. She looks so peaceful I cant believe they thought they would win. Daniel wraps his arms around me and pulls me close and kisses the top of my head. For the first time in my life I am relaxed.
We stand like this for a little while then I look out my bedroom door and see my team and Daniel’s setting up sleeping bags for them all over the living room and my room. They have men on the outside edges and the windows and my girls are setting up around the kids. Dragon is even with them. Opal walks up with a big smile on her face. “She looks so precious. Anyway we all decided to stay on the safe side and set up for the night. I also talked to the Orphanage and they agreed to let us set them up on our land to keep the kids safe always. She also that since this is pretty much over you can adopt Amelia at anytime. I will get on the paperwork for you tomorrow and you can sign it and send it in. We all heard what Dragon said we didn’t know that when this ended you wanted to step back but didn’t want to make someone do the job. The team and I agree we will run the business together and I think Daniel and his team would be good for the club and we can all stay members and you still have finally say we will just give you reports so you can focus on your bakery and your little family. Oh and the baby drop pick up line rang while we were busy but Hannah when to go get the baby it’s a little boy new born and the mom is a teen. She took the baby to the Fire house in town and we are bringing the crib up do you want it in here? I know how you are with new born babies.”
