I sighed for the hundredth time, feeling more guilty for just sitting in this chair. I looked at the beeping machine, feeling grateful that he's still alive, a hundred of questions running through my mind. 'Where could I have gone wrong?' I whispered to myself as I buried my face in my hands, feeling stressed and betrayed. This did not happen on purpose, and why does it feel like everyone is blaming me? I told them I wasn't sure about this and the person that is lying on this hospital bed gave me an assurance now he is not here to defend me. Anxiety clouded my mind, causing my chest to tighten. I stood up and breathed out, trying to calm myself down. Someone pushed the door aggressively. I turned in shock and Mom was standing at the door with her nose flared. She almost seemed like she was copying a Bull's actions while standing at the doorway with her arms out.

"What's going on?" I asked, confused by her angry look. Things got more suspicious as Dad quickly followed behind her and whispered something in her ear, and turned to give me a soft look. "I thought I made it clear that I don't want you here." I raised my eyebrows in confusion and snickered in disbelief. "You don't want me where? This is my home, too." I said, shoving my hands in my sweater, feeling my eyes burning with unshed tears. It's always been such an easy thing for her to abandon me for her other children..

"You killed my son, you killed him!" She shouted as she took a few long strides and grabbed me by my hair, throwing me against the wall. I wasn't ready for that. She threw me so effortlessly and I felt a sharp pain in my head as I hit the wall with my forehead. I did not expect that violence. "You killed him when he needed your help. You destroyed the only hope he had," she continued shouting as Dad grabbed her, forcing her out of the room. "I didn't kill him," I said as I slid down against the choking in hurt. At this point, tears were running out of my eyes uncontrollably. I couldn't even comprehend the level of pain I felt at that moment. I felt so alone and abused. How could she feel that she has a right to do me like that? Why isn't anyone fighting for me against this woman?

I cried softly, still in shock; I felt something drip from my nose. I wiped it with the corner of my sweater and it came back red. Looking: As I looked, anger began to consume me. Why am I being treated like this for trying to help?. I screamed, not because I am in physical pain but because my heart is hurting and my own mother is the reason. I got up and cried more than I took my sweater, holding it against my nose to stop the bleeding.

No one was going to help me here, it would've been better if it was a real hospital and not our house. "Where are you going?" a voice softly asked as I was trying to leave, I was dragging my left leg because I felt a sharp pain jolt through when I stepped on the floor. I turned and looked at the bed where Tyson was laying in and he was now awake looking at me wide-eyed. I half cried and half laughed as I limped to his direction happy to see him awake, I engulfed him in a hug while bawling my eyes out he comforted me despite not knowing the reason for my injuries and crying. "I have never been so happy to see you awake," I said withdrawing from the hug my eyes meeting his confused look.

"Whats going on? why do you have blood all over your face?" he asked trying to touch my nose, I winced in backing away from his hand. "Your mother did this to me, because apparently I killed you." I said washing my face on the sink next to the window, I didn't even think of washing my face first before leave that woman did a number on me so much I couldn't even think straight. "She said you killed me? how, what happened? the last thing I remember is seeing a bright and I got knocked out of my senses." Tyson asked with a confused expression, I felt my heart quicken in joy knowing that I was not responsible for him slipping into coma.

"Don't worry about it, you should focus on getting better. I have to go and clean myself up I will see you later." I walked away limping as I made my way outside to my car, i've been coming here everyday because of Tyson and now that I know he's feeling better I am never setting my foot here ever again. I drove home crying non-stop, I scoffed feeling irritated that I am crying over the woman that did not raise me. I keep giving her chances to be a better mother and she just throws them to my face, i'm done with all of that.

I parked my car in the driveway, killed the ignition and made my way inside. I unlocked the door and made my way inside, I stopped in my tracks as my eyes laid on the man seating on my couch. "Why can't you use the door like a normal person?" I asked him as I rolled my eyes in annoyance, he always does this coming inside my house in different entrances unknown to the ownwer of the house. "I don't want the neighbours to know that you are hiding such a handsome boyfriend inside your house, they might just break in just to see me." he said as he stood up and walked towards me with a smile leaning in for a kiss, I walked away from the kiss pain shoot from different parts of my body.

"I can't really talk. I don't feel good, please lock the door on your way out." I said walking to my room to take a shower, "April, I cancelled my plans to be here with you." Chris said raising his voice, I turned to look at him in shock. "Chris, stop acting like you don't have a wife and kids to get to, please leave." I said shutting my bedroom door, I had my front shut and sighed in relief.
