Chapter 17 His perfect doppleganger
Felipe’s POV. 

“ Alpha, this boy looks exactly like you.” My Beta whispered it into my ears for almost the third time since we have arrived. 

I sat down on the chair I was and kept looking at the little boy. He looked so handsome, bold, and intelligent. It was as though I gave birth to him in my former life. He was so much like me. 

“ Yeah,” I nodded, smiling and giggling at the boy who just took the microphone from the host. 

“ Are you thinking what I'm thinking?” He asked , leaning into me. 

“ What are you thinking?” As I asked, my doppelganger's voice screeched from the microphone. 

“ Hi, everyone! I'm Pius Xander, and I'm here to launch my application, X10 Anti rogue, that will help to break down any threat raging at the feral world.” 

“ Wow! Such a brilliance!” The crowds exclaimed and gave her a round of applauses. I smiled too, and jammed my hands together alongside my Beta. 

After he made his speech, he climbed on the stadium and started typing some codings into it, that which was projected on the wall for everyone to see.  He was so precise with his coding, calm, and calculative. 

He ran the codes, over and over again, earning applauds from the crowds again. 

I folded my arms over my chest and thought of the threat from my pack elders that if I couldn't get a male pup I would step down as the Alpha of the pack. Here was a cute little boy who looks exactly like me. I wished he was mine. 

Ever since Lynn left my life I have been into a total mess. Sarah, whom I had rejected her for still doesn't love me the way Lynn did. Lynn gave me everything she had in her capacity. Went for seminars just to bear me a male pup. And unfortunately, when she couldn't bear me one, I threw her out of my life and chose the woman who left me when I had nothing. 

She was only in my life to drain me financially and nothing more. Ever since I have announced her as the Luna she hasn't gotten pregnant not to talk of given birth, yet, she didn't bother, because she knew I was foolish enough to toss my mate and the woman that loved me so much away. 

I kept giggling and smiling at the boy that I forgot I was in the program, I was being called by my Beta. 

“ Wouldn't you like to see who gave birth to him?” 

I snorted and rolled my eyes sideways. “ See, um, I don't care about whosoever birth him. He's so cute and intelligent, that's all we need to know about him.” 

Later, the announcement was made and the little boy was announced as the winner of contest. The whole place was buzzing with cheers and gifts were showered all over him. 

Then the unexpected happened. 

As the boy was announced the winner, a familiar figure appeared on the stage. 

My mate, whom I had rejected some years ago was standing in the front of the crowds and once she got there, the little boy ran up to her and hugged her tightly, calling her Mommy. 

She was so different from the girl I used to know. She was now beautiful, bold, and powerful. Only the powerful ones could register for the feral festival and considering the fact that the little boy was the one nominated screamed wealth. 

My chest heaved up and down, and I didn't know when I stood up with wide eyes, glaring at her. A girl walked like a model up to the stage, whining her waist as though she was showing off her skills directly to the duo and hugged them too. 

“ That's Barbie, your daughter whom you sold out some years ago.” 

My Beta brought to my notice, and my shoulders dropped at both sides. It was true. That little girl that just walked like a model to them was my daughter and the woman the little boy was calling Mommy was my mate. 

What's going on? 

I couldn't condole it anymore so I strode out of the venue and straight into my car. 

My Beta followed me into the car. I sat in the car and screamed as I grabbed the steer wheel, punching on it heavily. 

“ You need to take things easy, Alpha. This is more complicated than I thought.” He moved closer to me and placed a hand over my shoulders. “The cute, intelligent boy was born by your mate? And also, the boy looks like your perfect doppelganger. I mean, make me understand.” 

“ I don't know. I mean, I'm super confused right now. I sold her alongside my five years old daughter to the monster. Couldn't have thought she and her daughter would survive it.” 

My breath grew tougher and tougher as the realization burn into my head. Could it be that the boy was my child? 

“ Lynn left the pack without pregnancy. How on earth is that even possible?” 

I exhaled, facepalming as I pushed my back further into the car. 

“ Maybe you should confront her. Who knows if there's a magic only her can explain,” As he said, our eyes met and I could see the impossibilities plastering on his face. I wouldn't dare do that. She now belongs to the Lycan king, confronting her could bring war to my pack.

“ There should be another way to go about this, Alpha. I have an idea.” 

“ What's the idea?” I inquired and he brought his mouth closer to my mouth and whispered somethings. I heaved a deep sigh and shook my head. 

“ Good! That's a nice steps. Keep this between us.” I ordered and he nodded. 

“ Alright, Alpha.” 

We ignited the car and the engine roared to life. We sped off away from the venue back to our pack. As my Beta as advised, I need to really work this out faster to be sure what next step to take. However, something bothered me. 

What if I was the biological father of the boy? Would I be able to take them back from the Lycan king? 

I ran a hand through my hair, and sighed heavily in confusion.
