Twenty two

Alex answered the call in front of her. "Hello, Grandma," He said politely.

"Okay, I will," He said.

Before he finally hung up.

Olivia looked at him once he finished answering the call. "Grandma?" She asked him.

Alex nodded. "She said we should come home," He said.

Olivia bit her lips. She knew that it was only Alex who was asked to come, not her, but he just did not want her to feel left behind, which was why he rephrased it.

Alex saw her hesitating and asked, "What are you thinking about? It is fine if you don't want to go. I will just go there alone." He said that even though he was disappointed, she did not want to follow him. He did not voice his disappointment.

Olivia smiled and said, "It is alright. I will go since Grandma is also my Grandma. I will meet her very soon anyway," She said.

Alex smiled; he was happy that she agreed to go. They walked out of the room together. Drake opened the car door for her and let her get in before gently closing the door. He walked to the driver's seat and got into the car too. He started the car and drove off. Miller turned her head and looked out of the window. She sighed, feeling a little nervous.

She knew his family did not like her because of the way she treated Alex in the past. So they dislike her, but they did not show it in front of Alex so as not to make him unhappy, but their body language always shows what they are thinking.

"Let's buy some things for grandma," She said.

Alex looked at her, feeling that it was unnecessary to do so. "Is that necessary? I think coming to see her is already the greatest gift. Besides, she does not need anything," Alex said with a shrug.

Olivia shook her head and said, "I am sure she will be happy to see that you think about her. Let's get some gifts for her; it does not matter if she needs something or not," She suggested.

Alex sighed and agreed helplessly. He was helpless towards her and will do whatever she wants if it does not mean her leaving him. He parked the car in front of a mall, and they walked out of the car together. Olivia held his hand, and they walked into the mall together. Passersby were looking at them enviously.

They looked so beautiful, like a match made in heaven. They looked at Olivia with an envious expression. She was able to get such a good-looking man. Olivia smiled proudly when she saw this, saying, "Hehe, her man was really handsome, but she does not like the fact that they were looking at him too much. As expected, he attracts flies anywhere he goes.

The attendant stood up with a big smile on her face and said, Welcome, Mr. and Miss. What do you need?" She asked them with a polite smile. She looked at Alex with an infatuated look. This man is really handsome.

"We will look around," Olivia answered, as she immediately pulled Alex away when she saw the way the attendant was looking at him.

The attendant's eyes fell on Olivia, and she nodded. She looked at Olivia with an envious gaze. She was so lucky to get such a good-looking man. Olivia walked around; she selected some things for his grandma and then his parents too.

They walked towards the cashier to pay the bills. Olivia wanted to give the cashier her card, but Alex had already given her his black card before she could take out hers. She was stunned and looked at him. "Huh? Why? I want to get it for Grandma," She said, feeling bad that he was spending his money even though she was the one who needed to buy something.

Alex smiled and said, "It does not matter. My money is your money too anyway," He said with a smile when he saw her looking down.

Olivia pouted, but she did not say anything after this. The cashier looked at them with an envious gaze.

'She is so lucky and gets a man who is even willing to spend on her.

The couples behind them were also talking about them. "This man is so handsome," A girl said, covering her mouth in awe even though she was holding her own boyfriend's hand.

Her boyfriend was jealous when he saw that his girlfriend was infatuated with another man. "He has a girlfriend, and his girlfriend is not even as pretty as you are," He said to her.

The girl glared at him and said, "What do you mean? Are you trying to say that I am not attractive?" She asked angrily.

The man shrugged and said, "You were just head over heels with her man just now. They are a perfect match. The man is handsome, and his girl is also beautiful. So forget it," He said.

The girl pouted. "I know I am just saying," She said.

The man nodded and said, Yeah, right."

"We can admire people, but not to the point of being obsessed with them and leaving you, okay? I just admire his handsomeness," She said with a smile.

The man nodded. Yes, but you should not admire him too much; I am very jealous," He said.

Olivia heard this and turned her head curiously. She smiled when she saw how the couples looked cute even though they were bantering.

The girl was awestruck when she saw Olivia smile. "She just smiled at me? She is so beautiful. I think I am in love with her already. Hehe, hehe no wonder her boyfriend follows her around so she will not get snatched by someone else," She muttered.

Her boyfriend felt jealous. His girlfriend was in love with both the girl and her man. While her own man was beside her, she did not admire him. He felt aggrieved and pulled his girlfriend closer to him.

"Why are you pulling me?" The girl was puzzled.
