Twenty three

Olivia walked out of the mall with Alex, and she chuckled when she remembered the cute girl who was standing behind her before.

Alex looked at her with a weird expression because he did not understand why she was laughing alone. "Why are you laughing?" He asked her.

Olivia smiled; she probably did not pay attention to what was happening behind them. "Nothing; those couples are just funny," She said to him.

Alex looked behind him and did not see anyone. "Who?" He asked her, still puzzled.

Olivia pouted, They've already left. You did not pay attention when we were paying the cashier?" She asked him.

Alex shrugged. "My attention was on you. Only you need my attention," He said with a shrug.

Olivia blushed when she heard this; she already guessed that he did not pay attention to what was happening behind them since his expression did not change. She pouted. "You are so boring," She said, rolling her eyes.

Alex looked at her with a threatening expression. "Say that again," He said, narrowing his eyes.

Olivia stuck her tongue out playfully. "You are too boring," She said, and she immediately tried to run away, but he caught her before she could escape. Olivia frowned. She felt that he cheated, or how was he able to catch her immediately when she tried to run away?

Alex tingled her. "Will you say that again?" He asked her.

Olivia tried not to laugh, but he tingled her even more, and she started laughing, feeling more giggled. "I... will not... Please save me," she said incoherently.

But Alex still let go of her. Olivia pouted and looked at him with an aggrieved expression. "You are just bullying me because you are bigger than me," She complained.

Alex smiled; he felt more relaxed towards her now. In the past, he would always be careful so as not to upset her and make her hate him. He does not even know why he felt the urge to tingle her. He just felt that he should do that, and he did it.

"That is because you spout too much nonsense. I have to teach you not to spout too much nonsense," He said with a smile.

He opened the car door for her, and she got into the car. He also got into the car and closed it. The driver started the car and drove out of the mall.

Olivia looked out of the window. She was feeling really nervous because she would soon meet his grandma. She does not want her to hate her again. She did a lot of bad things in front of his grandma, and all she wanted in her previous life was to leave him, so she behaved anyhow and made his grandmother hate her, but she does not show it for Alex's sake.

Alex held her hand when he saw that she was in deep thought again. "What are you thinking?" He asked her.

"I am just nervous after all; I will be meeting your grandmother soon. She might not like me," She said with a smile, trying to hide her nervousness.

Alex was happy when he heard this, which shows that she is really caring about him. She was looking for all sorts of ways to make his Grandmother like her. He held her hand and rubbed it gently. "You don't have to worry about that. She will love you; I am sure of that. Since she loves me, she will surely love you too," He said.

Olivia looked at him and smiled. He was right. His Grandmother will like her, but she does not want her to like her just because of him. She wants her to like her naturally. She has met his Grandmother twice, and she did not behave very well in front of her.

Finally, the car drove into the old residence. It was Taylor's residence. Where his Grandmother and His parents stay.

Olivia opened the car door and got out of the car; both she and Alex held hands and walked into the house together. Alex twisted the door knob and walked into the house. Olivia walked behind him.

Alex, you are here," She heard a woman say in a pleasant voice.

Mom," Alex called, his face softening a little after seeing his mom.

His mom walked towards him; she was stunned to see Olivia standing behind him. "Olivia. You are here too," She said with a smile.

Olivia nodded and said, "Hi Aunty." She greeted her politely.

Nicki Taylor was surprised to see how she looked. She looked different and more mature than she had before. She nodded approvingly and asked, "How are you doing?" She asked her with a warm smile.

Olivia smiled; she felt less nervous after his mom's smile. "I am fine, Aunty. What about you?" Olivia asked her with a smile.

"I am good, but you refused to come and visit us again. Why?" Nicki asked her.

Olivia bit her lips and did not know what to say.

"She wants to come, but I was the one who asked her to focus on her studies, which are more important," Alex said before she could reply.

Olivia raised her head and looked at him, stunned. She felt warm when she heard this.

Nicki nodded. "That is good. Focusing on your studies is very good, but you must also not be too focused and have fun sometimes, so you will not be like Alex." She said it with a smile.

Olivia nodded and said, "I know Aunty. I will do that too. I don't want to be as boring as him," She said with a smile.

She ran and stood behind Nicki. She stuck her tongue out playfully at Alex. "He bullied me so much when we were coming. There was no one to support me." She complained to Nicki; she acted coquettishly.

Nicki patted her hair. "He bullied you so much?" She asked.

Olivia nodded with a pout. Yes, I was unable to defend myself, making him bully me," She said with an aggrieved expression.

Nicki chuckled. "If he bullies you again, just tell me and I will punish him," She said.

Olivia nodded. She stuck her tongue out at Alex.

He could only smile helplessly; both of them are his loved ones, so there was nothing he could do; he could only allow them to bully him in return.
