Gossiping heart

Gossiping heart
Upon hearing the name Callie Norris, Shane finally lifted his gaze from the documents in front of him.
Kane, feeling triumphant, made sure to flip open the folder so Shane could see the photo and the names. "See this?"
Shane's expression remained as calm as still water, showing no emotion. "Kane, Callie is a woman I discarded. If you like her, she's all yours."
Kane knew Shane was a master of disguise and didn't mind his sarcasm. "A woman you discarded? That just means you didn't recognize her worth. I don't care about her past. From now on, she'll belong to me. I should thank President Robinson for letting her go. Rest assured, I'll cherish her."
"You can leave now," Shane said, signing his name hastily at the bottom of the document before closing it and tossing it aside.
Kane's smile was as warm as a spring breeze, but it was infuriating. "Saturday, President Robinson. Don't forget to come."
Shane's lips curled into a sinister smirk.
Kane carefully placed the wedding invitation on the desk. "See you on Saturday."
After finishing his sentence, Kane whistled cheerfully as he walked out of his office.
As the door closed, the calm expression on Shane's face instantly transformed into one of raging fury!
"Callie Norris!"
He gritted his teeth.
She pushed herself onto another woman, just to make her marry Kane?
She—she's really something!
He tried to convince himself that she wasn't worth his attention, wasn't worth his affection, wasn't worth his love.
But knowing she was going to marry another man still made him furious.
His chest felt tight, like a storm was brewing inside, making it hard to breathe.
"President Robinson..." Lydia entered without knocking.
Already fuming, Shane's irritation spiked even higher at the intrusion. He barked, "Get out!"
Lydia froze in shock, clutching her files tightly before hastily closing the door.
It was the first time she had seen him so enraged!
Her heart pounded with lingering fear.
Lydia thought to herself that it was best not to provoke him any further while he was in such a state. She turned to leave, but just then, Henry hurried over.
Seeing Lydia, Henry asked, "Did you make President Robinson angry?"
The tone Shane had on the phone just now was anything but pleasant.
Lydia shook her head. "I came for the Norris project proposal. I hadn't even gone in before he yelled at me and kicked me out. What's wrong with President Robinson?"
"How would I know?" Henry's tone wasn't very friendly.
He had nearly lost his nerve during the phone call just now.
Taking a deep breath, he pushed open the office door and walked in with a cautious smile, trying to appease, "President Robinson."
"Find something for Kane to do," he said, yanking open his collar and tossing his tie onto the desk. He was breathing heavily. "I don't care what you have to do, just make sure he doesn't get too comfortable."
Henry's mind raced. Had Kane angered him again?
"President Robinson, after the last two incidents, Kane has gotten smarter. It's hard to find any traces within the company now..."
Shane Robinson's eyes shot up, a cold glint flashing like a knife. "Henry, are you getting better at making excuses now?"
"Can't you do anything else besides failing at your job?"
Henry lowered his head. "I understand."
"Then get it done quickly!" Shane had never been this impatient before; he was utterly frustrated.
Even though his collar wasn't tight, he felt like he couldn't breathe. He unbuttoned two buttons, but it didn't help.
He had never failed at anything before.
But because of Callie, he kept making a fool of himself, feeling unlike his usual self.
He hated this version of himself!
Why was he letting that heartless woman mess with his emotions?
Did she deserve it?
She didn't deserve it!!!
He took deep breaths, trying to calm himself down.
As Henry exited the office, he patted his chest. He couldn't understand why he was so angry. Could it be that Kane had provoked him again?
"Assistant Henry, what's wrong with Shane?" Lydia hadn't left; she was waiting for Henry.
She wanted to know why Shane was so upset.
Even though Shane seemed to treat Lydia differently, Henry couldn't help but frown every time he heard Lydia call him by his first name. Did this woman really think she was in charge here?
"Do you call names like that at the office too?"
For some reason, Henry couldn't bring himself to like Lydia.
He said indifferently, "President Robinson has always been like this."
With that, he strode away.
Lydia took a couple of steps to catch up, "Assistant Henry, don't rush off. Do you think if I go in now, he'll still be mad?"
"You can try," Henry replied with a smile.
He knew that Shane was still fuming, and anyone who went in now would just be asking for trouble.
Lydia was smart enough to catch on, "I think I'll wait a bit. If he's still angry and I walk in, I'd just be asking for it."
Henry couldn't help but chuckle, "Smart move."
"I just don't want to make Shane angrier," she said, hugging her files as she walked away.
...
Because of Kane's appearance, Shane Robinson had been in a foul mood all day!
He couldn't focus on work and even made some wrong decisions. He had no desire to continue working and canceled all his appointments to head home early.
The villa was just as it always was, with Mrs. Ford preparing meals tailored to his preferences.
The only difference was that Callie no longer lived there.
Even though it was just one person missing, and she hadn't been here for that many years, Shane felt like a lot was missing.
He had gotten used to her presence.
He found himself ridiculous for feeling this way.
"Sir," Mrs. Ford approached cautiously.
Ever since Callie left, his temper had worsened, and Mrs. Ford had been serving him with extra care.
"What is it?" Shane removed his jacket and sank into the sofa, pressing his fingers against his temples. "Get me a glass of water."
Mrs. Ford hurried to fetch the water and handed it to him with both hands.
He took the glass and drank a couple of sips.
Only after he set the glass down did Mrs. Ford speak up, "What should we do with the painting upstairs?"
All of Callie's belongings had been cleared out, except for that painting.
His expression changed briefly at the mention of the painting, but he quickly masked it. "Cover it."
Mrs. Ford nodded.
"Forget it," Shane suddenly stood up. "I'll handle it myself."
He went upstairs and stood in front of the painting instead of covering it.
I have to say, K's drawing skills are exceptional. He captured Callie's essence perfectly, making it seem as if she were right there in front of him.
Time flew by, and soon it was Friday.
Callie was juggling managing the company and attending adult classes. Because Myron had been spoiled by Gianna and had poor academic performance, she also had to keep an eye on him to ensure he studied properly.
It's not too late to work hard now!
She was fully focused on her career. She wanted to preserve what Rafael had left behind and hand over the company to Myron once he was capable of handling it on his own.
She didn't want to betray Rafael's trust.
Callie and Myron were on their way home when they received a call saying there was trouble at the company.
They turned around and headed back to the office.
"What happened?" Myron asked.
"The batch of goods we sent out last time has been returned," said the shipping manager.
"What was the issue?" Callie inquired.
The shipping manager replied, "There was no issue."
Myron couldn't stay calm and shouted, "If there was no issue, why were they returned?"
The shipping manager trembled, too scared to speak.
Callie noticed something was off and gently said, "If you have something to say, just say it. We can't solve the problem if you don't tell us what's going on."
"I heard it was intentional, and it seems like Shane had a hand in it."

"Shane Robinson?" Myron couldn't stay calm. "Sis, isn't he my brother-in-law? He even sent his assistant to help you before. Why would he suddenly make things difficult for you?"
"Myron, what are you talking about? When did Shane get married, and to your sister?" The shipping manager asked in surprise.
After all, Callie and Shane's marriage hadn't been publicly announced, and not many people knew about it. Someone like the shipping manager, who wasn't closely involved, was even less likely to know.
Callie smiled and explained, "Myron just had a bit to drink. Don't listen to his nonsense."
She then pulled Myron towards the office, telling the shipping manager to go home for the day. "We'll figure this out tomorrow."
"Okay," the shipping manager said, not thinking much of it and assuming Myron's words were just drunken ramblings.
"Sis," Myron frowned, "Why are you dragging me? And you did marry Shane Robinson..."
"Myron," Callie interrupted him, "I've already divorced him. So, from now on, don't mention to anyone that I was ever married to him."
"When?" Myron's eyes widened. "He's abandoning his own son?"
"He doesn't know the child is his," Callie replied. "And you better not tell anyone."
Myron paused, taken aback. "Sis, aren't you afraid I might betray your trust and tell Shane about Leif?"
"Our father is dead. Even though we have different mothers, we share half the same blood. You're my brother, and that fact won't change. I hope I can trust you completely," Callie said, trying to bridge the gap between them.
She also hoped he wouldn't disappoint her.
Myron pressed his lips together and lowered his gaze slightly.
Callie continued, "I'll handle this. You don't need to worry."
"Okay," Myron responded.
Callie sat down at her desk. She knew this had to be Shane's doing.
Did he want to see her in distress?
Or did he want her to go begging him for mercy?
No, she wouldn't do either.
She would never bow to him.
Resting her chin on her hand, she pondered what to do next. The goods in her possession were essentially tying up the company's working capital. She glanced at the time; it wasn't too late yet. She decided to call Kane.
He was surprised to receive her call. "Well, I didn't expect you to reach out first. I was just about to contact you too. Seems like we're on the same wavelength."
Callie wasn't in the mood for his banter. "Did you tell Shane about our wedding?"
"I personally delivered the invitation. Why, did he bother you? Where are you? I'll come find you."
"No need to come over. He didn't exactly bother me, just caused a bit of trouble. Didn't he give you any grief?" she asked.
Knowing his personality, it was unlikely he would only target her. Kane must have had his share of trouble too.
Kane chuckled. "I've been caught by him too many times before. This time, I was fully prepared. He couldn't do much, just tried to trip me up with minor things. Nothing serious."
Then he asked, "Are you worried about me?"
"I'm not worried about you. I was just asking, that's all."
"What kind of trouble did he cause? Do you need my help?" Kane inquired.
Callie said no and then hung up the phone.
She had already thought of a solution.
She dialed Myron's number.
"Hey, Myron, find a popular influencer. We're not selling our goods in bulk anymore; we're selling them ourselves."
Myron was still frowning over this issue, but her suggestion instantly lifted his spirits. "Our bulk sale prices aren't high. If we sell them ourselves, even after giving a cut to the influencer, we won't make less than before. But we have so much stock—when will we ever sell it all?"
"That's why I said to find a popular influencer. Live-stream selling is so hot right now; it won't take long," Callie decided firmly.
"Alright, I'll get on it."
"Good."
Callie hung up the phone but didn't leave the office. Instead, she gathered a few trusted people to secretly move the goods out of the company.
Shane wanted to suppress her. If he found out she was using influencers to sell the goods herself, he might make a fuss over it, given his wealth and influence.
So, this had to be done in secret.
By the time everything was set, dawn was breaking. She returned home, hoping to get some rest, but was immediately grabbed by the makeup artist Kane had called in, who insisted on doing her bridal makeup.
Exhausted, she sat in the chair, almost falling asleep, her eyelids heavy.
Myron handed her a cup of coffee and pulled up a chair next to her. "Sis..."
"Myron, don't ask any questions. You have more important things to handle right now," Callie said, looking at him intently. "I'm giving you full authority on this matter. As long as the terms are right, you sign the contract. Keep it secret, and tell the company that I'm still working on it."
"Why do we need to keep it from everyone?" Myron was puzzled. What was there to hide?
"To prevent anyone from sabotaging us again," Callie explained.
With her hint, Myron understood. "You're worried that if something goes wrong again, someone might try to mess with us."
"Now that you know, go ahead and do it."
"Sis," Myron hesitated but finally mustered the courage to speak, "Isn't there any other way to save Leif? You don't even like that guy, Kane. Marrying him won't make you happy."
Callie looked at her reflection in the mirror, her expression momentarily distant.
She forced a smile. "My happiness doesn't matter. I need to make sure Leif is safe. Besides, even if I don't marry him, I don't want to get involved with anyone else. Right now, I just want to run the company well. Don't worry about me. Go handle your task; there's no time to waste."
"Okay." Myron stood up and left.
Callie asked someone to bring her a cushion, and she leaned back lazily.
Shane Robinson sat in a chair by the floor-to-ceiling window. The heavy curtains were half-drawn, allowing light to filter through the glass and illuminate one side of his face. Across from him was a portrait of Callie.
It was Shane who had orchestrated the trouble in her company.
He was waiting for her to come and beg for his help.
But she never came.
It was already 7:30.
Today was Saturday.
Was she really going to marry Kane Ortiz?
An inexplicable irritation torment at Shane's heart.
Suddenly, he stood up, casting aside any pretense of dignity, and decided to seek out Callie himself.
When he arrived at the Norris residence, he saw Callie already dressed in her wedding gown, surrounded by several people helping to arrange her train.
Her figure was graceful and elegant, the wedding dress fitting her perfectly, accentuating her curves in all the right places.
He had to admit, she looked stunning in her wedding dress.
Shane stepped inside, standing at the doorway, silhouetted against the light. "I heard your company is in trouble. Are you really going to ignore it just to get married?"
Hearing his voice, she turned to look at him.
The appearance of Shane was quite a surprise to her.
With a perfectly poised smile, bright and dazzling, she said, "Kane is rich. Even if the company goes under, he can still take care of me."

His face darkened uncontrollably, becoming increasingly grim.
The surrounding air seemed to drop several degrees in an instant.
"Callie, do you really think Kane likes you? Don't forget, you're a married woman. You've even slept with me..."
"Shane Robinson!" Callie interrupted him sharply.
"What, losing your cool already?" he reached out his hand towards her. "There's still time to come with me."
Callie laughed in anger. "Shane Robinson, I remember you said you wanted a divorce, and we did get our divorce papers. Besides, don't you already have Lydia now? Aren't you afraid she'll get jealous if she finds out you're here looking for me? Oh, and I heard you gave her your most precious thing. It seems you really like her. Congratulations on finding someone you love so much."
"I was just returning what belonged to her," he explained almost instinctively.
Callie raised an eyebrow. "Your most precious thing was originally hers? It seems you two go way back."
Shane pressed his lips together, unable to deny it.
After all, she had saved him when they were kids.
Otherwise, he wouldn't have arranged a job for her just because of Old Master Robinson.
"My husband will be here to pick me up soon. You should leave," Callie said, trying to mask her fatigue with a cheerful demeanor because Shane was present.
Shane extended his hand again, his tone more forceful, "Come with me."
Callie slapped his hand away without hesitation. "I'm getting married. I'll find my Kane, and you go find your Lydia. Let's stay out of each other's way!"
"I insist on crossing that line," Shane said as he stepped forward, wrapping his arm around her waist. With a swift pull, he drew her into his embrace, holding her tightly. He greedily admired her beautiful face. "Callie, do you really have to get married?"
"Yes, I absolutely have to get married!"
As she spoke, she turned her head, her long, curled eyelashes brushing against his cheek, fluttering lightly. "If you're here to give me your blessings, you're welcome. But if you're here to humiliate me, then please leave."
"President Robinson!"
At the doorway, Kane, dressed in a perfect suit, stepped in with a broad smile. "Holding my bride like that is quite impolite, don't you think? President Robinson, you're a man of stature. Aren't you worried about the gossip?"
Shane didn't release his grip around her waist; instead, he tightened it. Leaning close to her ear, he whispered, "Are you really going to marry him?"
"Yes!" Callie pushed him away forcefully.
He staggered back a step, appearing calm but clearly struggling to contain his anger. "No regrets?"
Callie lifted her chin defiantly. "No... no regrets."
Though she was being forced into this, the thought of Shane getting involved with Lydia so quickly made her feel deeply uncomfortable.
If he could go after other women, why couldn't she get married?
There was a bit of spite in her decision, but it wasn't impulsive.
She truly couldn't stand Shane and Lydia together.
"Shane, I'll make you regret this." Callie calmly smoothed out her wedding dress, which wasn't even wrinkled.
Shane, driven by his pride, refused to back down. "Regret it? Me?"
"Yes," she replied firmly.
"Callie, you're dreaming. There are plenty of women out there." With that, he turned and strode out of the room. If you looked closely, you could see the veins throbbing on his temple.
Clearly, he wasn't as calm as he appeared.
Callie didn't seem pleased about driving him away either. Her expression was unreadable, making it hard to guess her true feelings.
Kane, however, was quite happy.
"It looks like you and Shane Robinson are really done for."
Callie glanced at him. "Are you happy about that?"
Kane was straightforward and didn't hide his feelings. "As long as Shane is unhappy, I'm happy."
Callie snorted. "Which eye of yours saw him unhappy? He's got a new girl by his side and couldn't be happier. Unlike you..."
"Unlike me what?" Kane pressed on.
"I was Shane's wife before. Now you've married someone he discarded. Do you think you got a good deal?" Callie raised an eyebrow as she asked.
"What are you talking about?" Kane frowned. "Do you realize you're demeaning yourself with those words?"
Callie didn't care at all.
To her, it didn't matter what happened to her as long as the things she cared about were still intact.
"I know you're doing all this just to show Shane. Now that you've achieved your goal, can't we just end this sham of a wedding quickly? I've agreed to marry you, but I won't go through all the formalities like it's a real wedding."
"We are really getting married. What's fake about it? Once the ceremony is over, we'll get our marriage certificate," Kane said, never having considered it a sham.
He was genuinely interested in her.
Annoying Shane was just a bonus.
Kane didn't want to push her too hard. "The process is simple and will be over quickly. We'll do everything according to your wishes."
Callie glanced at him but said nothing.
"It's getting late. Let's go," Kane said.
Even though they were having a wedding, it was neither lively nor joyful.
Only Kane seemed genuinely happy.
Callie responded decisively, "Alright."
At this point, there was no need for hesitation. The sooner the wedding was over, the sooner she could see her child.
She stepped out the door.
Caitlin came down from upstairs.
She didn't want to witness her daughter marrying someone she didn't like.
But seeing Callie in her wedding dress, she couldn't help but come down.
"Callie."
Callie turned and smiled at her mother, "Mom, I'm getting married today. You should be happy."
How could Caitlin possibly be happy?
She was doing her best not to cry out loud.
Kane wrapped his arm around Callie's shoulder and said, "Aunt Caitlin, I will treat Callie well."
How could she believe him?
He had kidnapped her child, threatened, and coerced her. His so-called "well" meant forcing someone who didn't love him into marriage?
Is that what he called being good?
Moreover, this was the second time he had kidnapped Callie.
No matter what Kane said, Caitlin would never believe him.
Callie, not wanting to make things harder for her mother, mustered a weak smile, "Take care of yourself at home."
After speaking, she turned to Kane and said, "Let's go."
Kane leaned in closer and whispered, "Trust me this once."
Callie pushed him away immediately. "From the moment you took Leif, you lost my trust."
With that, she walked ahead towards the car.
Kane watched her retreating figure, his eyes darkening.
The Rolls-Royce Phantom, adorned with flowers at the front, looked every bit the part of a wedding car.
To Callie, it just looked like a wedding.
It felt like it had nothing to do with her.
Kane got into the car and asked her, "Are you unhappy?"
"No," Callie denied, but her expression was clearly impatient.
"Today is our big day. Try to be happy," Kane said, moving closer to her. Callie frowned. "Kane, I agreed to marry you, but don't think for a second that we'll be a real couple."
Kane didn't move any closer. "Alright."
He believed that feelings could be nurtured.
If they were together, wouldn't there be plenty of opportunities to develop feelings?
Kane was quite confident about that.
The car cruised smoothly along the highway when several heavy-duty Hummers appeared in the opposite lane, heading straight for them with clear intent to collide.
Despite being a luxury car, the Rolls-Royce had excellent safety features. The impact was loud, and the front of the car crumpled, but the passengers inside remained unharmed.
Several men emerged from the Hummers and marched directly towards their car, yanking the door open to grab Callie.
"Who are you people?" Kane stepped forward, positioning himself protectively in front of her.

At that moment, Kane protecting Callie looked every bit the man.
However, being pampered all his life, he had no real fighting skills. The men intercepting the wedding car were all towering and built like oxen. With just a fraction of their strength, they easily shoved him away from Callie.
They simply and directly pulled Callie out of the wedding car.
"Who are you people?" she clung tightly to the car door, refusing to come out.
"You don't need to know who we are. Just come with us quietly, and we won't hurt you. But if you resist too much, we won't have a choice but to get rough," one of the men said, his face expressionless like a stone.
Callie still wouldn't let go. After all, she had no idea who these people were!
She couldn't think of anyone she had offended!
Who sent them?
"In broad daylight, what do you think you're doing?" Kane snapped, his temper flaring. They hadn't hurt anyone yet, but their clear target was Callie. It was obvious they were here for her.
"Who we are is none of your business," one of the men said, holding Kane to keep him from moving. He turned to his companion and added, "Hurry up and take her away. Stop wasting time."
Callie was forcefully dragged out of the carriage and shoved into a Hummer.
Kane could only watch helplessly, his heart burning with anxiety! Today was supposed to be his happiest day. Who on earth was ruining his big moment?
The kidnappers were well-coordinated. As soon as they grabbed Callie, they released Kane and drove off.
"Chase them!" Kane roared in fury.
Frustrated and powerless, he could only vent his anger on himself.
By the time they got their car started to give chase, it was too late. The kidnappers had prepared well, deliberately blocking Kane's car, making any pursuit futile.
With the bride missing, Kane had no choice but to cancel the wedding.
The guests were left in a state of confusion and gossip.
Kane no longer cared about what others said about him. He handed over the aftermath to his assistant and took his men to search for Callie.
The kidnappers had driven out of the city and then vanished without a trace.
No matter how hard Kane searched, he couldn't find her.
He even sought out Myron, asking if Callie had offended anyone.
Myron said no, "But..."
"What do you mean, 'But…..'?" Kane asked urgently.
"If someone wanted to harm my sister, wouldn't it be you?"
Kane was speechless.
"Even though I demanded she marry me, I never did anything to hurt her..."
Before Kane could finish, Myron cut him off, "Forcing her to marry you is hurting her."
Kane fell silent again.
He had no words to counter that.
Forcing someone who doesn't love you into marriage is indeed unethical!
But now wasn't the time to argue about this. Finding Callie was the most important thing.
"You lost her, so you should find her yourself," Myron said indifferently. He only wanted to complete the tasks Callie had entrusted to him.
Kane knew he was asking the wrong person. He snorted, "Even though you two are half-siblings, she's still your sister. Now that she's been taken, you don't care at all? Do you even deserve to call yourself her family?"
Myron shot back, "She almost became your wife, didn't she? Why didn't you protect her? You took her from the Norris Family, and now she's missing. Shouldn't I be asking you where she is?"
he stood there, speechless.
Callie was still missing, and now he had a whole new mess to deal with!
He turned to leave.
But Myron wouldn't let it go. "You lost my sister. You have to bring her back safe and sound. If anything happens to her, I won't let you off the hook."
Kane hadn't meant to harm her this time; he just wanted her to marry him.
He had even hired a nanny to take care of her son.
"You don't need to threaten me. I'll do my best," he responded, striding out of the Norris house.
After Kane left, worry clouded Myron's face. He wasn't unconcerned; he was just confused.
In his mind, Callie was very smart.
She always had a plan for everything!
Could this be one of her schemes?
She disappeared after leaving the Norris Family, maybe to avoid implicating him and Caitlin.
Could it be that the people who captured her were actually arranged by her?
She didn't really want to marry Kane.
Was she just pretending to agree earlier?
The more Myron thought about it, the more it made sense!
Meanwhile, Kane, having left the Norris Family residence, sat in his car, deep in thought. Who could have taken her?
Just when he couldn't think of anything else, the name Shane popped into his head.
His eyes widened. Could it be him?
"Yes, it must be him!" Kane slapped his thigh. How had he not thought of this earlier?
Who else but him could have such influence, leaving no trace for him to find? Who else had both the motive and the capability?
Understanding this, he immediately started his car and drove straight to Skyreach Corporation to confront him.
Half an hour later, his car screeched to a halt beneath the towering Skyreach Corporation building.
Fuming, he stormed inside, shoving the receptionist aside when she tried to stop him.
He took the elevator up, striding purposefully to Shane's office door, and pushed the heavy door open with a bang.
"Shane Robinson!"
Kane called out his name as he charged up to her desk. "Hand over Callie!"
Shane raised an eyebrow slightly. "Isn't she your bride? Why are you here looking for her? Did you drink too much at your own wedding and get drunk?"
"Don't play dumb with me. I know you took Callie. No one else would do this but you!" Kane was livid with rage.
"Do you have any proof?" he asked nonchalantly.
Kane was momentarily speechless.
He indeed had no proof, just a hunch.
"You have no evidence," he stood up. "Secretary, call security and have Mr. Ortiz 'escorted' out!"
The word "escorted" clearly carried a different meaning.
His face turned ashen with anger, looking as ugly as he could be. "Shane Robinson, you despicable scoundrel!"
Shane cast him a disdainful glance, not even bothering to acknowledge him.
Soon, the company security arrived.
Kane gritted his teeth, knowing he had to bow his head on someone else's turf. "I will find the evidence. You were the one who took her."
With that, he pushed aside the security guard blocking his way. "I can walk myself."
He was so furious that he even cursed.
As he was leaving, Henry was just about to enter.
Kane gave him a glare and snorted.
Henry didn't take it to heart; after all, a snort wouldn't harm him.
He had more important matters to attend to.
Once everyone had left, Henry closed the door and walked over to Shane. "Everything is taken care of."
Shane replied, "I understand."
Henry hesitated for a moment before asking, "President Robinson, I'm not quite sure what you mean by this."
If he didn't care about Callie and had already fallen for Lydia, If he didn't care about Callie and had already fallen for Lydia, then why would he crash the wedding?
"So, you do care about Callie or you're just mad because she drugged you last time to set you up with Lydia, right?"
Henry couldn't contain his curiosity and burning desire for gossip!
