Deanna noticed that Eula didn't believe her but didn't bother to explain further.
"It doesn't matter if you don't believe me. Three days isn't long; you can wait and see the results."
With that, she stood up, ready to leave.
Before she left, she gave Eula a slight smile and said, "When the time comes, we can discuss the results properly."
"Stop right there. Did I say you could leave?"
Eula also stood up, glaring at Deanna with hostility. She extended her hand and said, "Hand over the antidote."
Deanna looked at the hand in front of her, her eyelids fluttering slightly. She replied calmly, "If I give it just because you say so, wouldn't that mean I was a pushover?"
"I said you'll hand it over!"
Eula stepped forward again, closing in on Deanna.
Deanna's cold eyes glanced over, remaining composed, clearly still unwilling to hand over the antidote.
In response, Eula merely sneered. She then took out her phone in front of Deanna and pressed something. A deep voice came from the phone, "Deanna, it's time to work."
Upon hearing this, Deanna's previously alert eyes instantly became vacant, as if she had lost her soul. She murmured, "It's time to work."
Seeing Deanna like this, Eula smiled triumphantly.
Just as she was about to say something, she seemed to think of something and quickly covered her mouth, turning to leave the room.
Outside, Avery saw her come out and immediately approached. "Master, is the discussion over?"
"Not yet. I hypnotized her. You go in and keep an eye on her. I need to go next door to give her instructions using a voice changer."
After giving these instructions, Eula went to the adjacent room, took out her phone, activated the voice changer app, and resumed the paused call.
"Deanna, take out the antidote on you."
"Take out the antidote."
Deanna repeated Eula's command and began searching herself.
But after a few minutes, she found nothing and replied blankly, "No antidote."
"No antidote?!"
Eula was stunned. Before she could give further instructions, the door of the room was suddenly kicked open. Lance stood at the entrance, exuding a menacing aura.
Behind him, several people were engaged in a scuffle.
The room where Deanna was also opened.
Deanna walked out with the support of Nightingale and Shannon.
At this moment, her face was pale, and her brows were tightly furrowed as if enduring something.
Seeing this scene, Eula realized she had fallen into Deanna's trap!
"With evidence in hand, you won't escape this time."
Deanna's lips curled into a weak smile as she looked at Eula.
Eula's face darkened before she laughed. "Do you think this means I'll be punished? Don't forget, you poisoned me. And I'm not a Chiaz citizen; Chiaz law has no effect on me!"
"I didn't poison you. I just used some insect repellent powder to scare you. I didn't expect you to be so afraid of death."
Deanna looked at Eula smugly.
Lance glanced at her pale face with some helplessness. "Alright, stop wasting words with her. I'll have someone take you to Mr. Martinez. Once I finish here, I'll come find you."
Hearing this, Deanna didn't refuse.
At this moment, she felt truly uncomfortable as if bugs were crawling in her brain-both painful and swollen.
"Hope you bring me good news when you come."
Before leaving, Deanna gave Lance a sweet smile.
Lance nodded seriously. "Don't worry; I won't disappoint you."
He then watched Deanna leave before turning to look at Eula, who had already been restrained.
"Take her away!"
With Lance's command, others began escorting the detainees out.
After all, this wasn't the place to handle such matters.
They headed straight to the police station.
Yes, Lance didn't intend to handle this privately; he handed it over to the police.
This way would be more effective and impactful than handling it himself.
After completing the paperwork at the police station, Lance left for the hospital.
When he arrived, Deanna was already asleep with Nightingale and Shannon by her side.
"How is she?" Lance asked with concern as he stood by the bed looking at Deanna.
Shannon replied, "Due to the interruption of hypnosis by external forces, her brain nerves were stimulated. Mr. Martinez said it's similar to a concussion and that she needs a few days of rest."
Hearing this, Lance sighed in relief.
At this moment, Nightingale added, "Sir, Mr. Martinez asked me to tell you that he wants to see you when you arrive."
"I understand. I'll go see him in a bit."
Lance nodded but didn't move.
He wanted to wait until Deanna woke up before going.
Deanna slept until evening before waking up.
As soon as she opened her eyes, she felt like her head was filled with ten pounds of water-dizzy and uncomfortable, making her want to vomit.
Seeing her pained expression, Lance showed concern as he quickly asked, "What's wrong?"
