Chapter 30 Evelyn Loses Her Temper

Chapter 30 Evelyn Loses Her Temper

In the principal's office, a middle-aged woman dressed head to toe in designer brands was aggressively jabbing Gabriel's head with her finger, her face full of rage.

The boy who had insulted Evelyn was named Luke Foster, and this middle-aged woman was his mother, Diana Wells.

Gabriel and Luke had gotten into a big fight. Both had bruises on their faces, but Diana wouldn't let it go. She was making a scene in the principal's office, poking at the bruises on Gabriel's face without holding back at all.

"Principal Quinn, my husband donates so much money to your school every year. Why do you still let these poor trash in here, making the whole place a mess?"

Diana stood with her hands on her hips, calling them "poor trash" over and over, showing no respect for Principal Quinn either. "Do you want next year's donation or not?"

Gabriel clenched his fists and kept his head down, veins bulging on his forehead, but he gritted his teeth and didn't dare make a sound.

He didn't know much about Luke's background, but from Diana's words and the principal's attitude toward her, he could tell that people like them weren't someone a family like his could afford to offend.

Outside the principal's office, a crowd of students had gathered to watch, chattering away during break time. Luke deliberately opened the office door and strutted around inside, occasionally calling out, "Mom, it hurts so much!"

Each time he did this, Diana's finger practically tried to poke Gabriel to death, while all kinds of nasty words poured from her mouth.

"You animals with fathers but no mothers to teach you manners—you could be working already, why are you even in school?"

"Like father, like son. Rats like you are destined to be poor forever."

"And that fat pig sister of his—Principal Quinn, I really hate to say this, but why haven't you fired someone like that? Are you keeping her around to harm other students?"

Gabriel finally couldn't take it anymore and roared, "Say whatever you want about me, but don't you dare talk about my family!"

Diana jumped in fright, clutching her chest and gasping a few times, then glared furiously at Principal Quinn. "Look at this, just look! This is the kind of student you've taught. He dares to yell at me, an elder, right in front of you. Who knows how he bullies my son when I'm not around!"

She then pulled Luke into her arms protectively and glared viciously at Gabriel. "Principal Quinn, you must expel these siblings today, or I won't let this go!"

Gabriel panicked immediately, looking at the principal through gritted teeth. "Principal Quinn, I take full responsibility for what I did. Today's incident has nothing to do with my sister."

"Besides, if Luke hadn't insulted my sister, I wouldn't have hit him."

After hearing this, Luke showed no respect for Principal Quinn at all, shouting arrogantly, "Your sister Evelyn is a slut, a piece of trash that everyone's had. The way you're protecting her, did she sleep with you too?"

Laughter erupted around them. Gabriel couldn't take it anymore. With a low growl, he rushed forward to hit Luke again, but was pinned to the ground by the bodyguards Diana had brought.

"Principal Quinn, did you see that? Did you see?!" Diana's voice shot up several notches, furious. "He's trying to hit my son right in front of us!"

Then she turned to her son. "Luke, what did your father teach you? Are you just going to let people bully you like this?"

Luke immediately got the message. With a nasty smile, he walked up to Gabriel and kicked him right in the face.

Principal Quinn tried to intervene, but Diana grabbed him. "My husband was just talking to me yesterday about investing in the lab building..."

Gabriel was pinned down by the bodyguards with no way to fight back. Luke's attacks were vicious and brutal, and soon he had beaten Gabriel until he was spitting blood.

The watching students were terrified. Some kind ones ran to find the school nurse, while others who loved drama spread the gossip all over campus.

The news quickly reached Evelyn's classroom.

"Hey, did you hear? That gang heir's mom came to our school and is beating someone up in the principal's office. Looks like she's about to kill him."

"Who's that unlucky? Why would anyone mess with the Foster family heir?"

"Some poor kid. Even if they beat him to death, nothing will happen. The Foster family can just pay some money to buy a life. It's not the first time they've done this anyway."

"Wow, life's so unfair. Which unlucky guy is it?"

"I didn't hear clearly, but I think his sister is in your class, last name Grant or something..."

Evelyn, who had been sleeping with her head on the desk, suddenly looked up, her eyes cold enough to kill.

...

School nurse Lydia Mitchell was on her first day at work. She hadn't even had time to tour the school when she heard something big had happened in the principal's office.

She quickly grabbed her first aid kit and ran to the principal's office with the student who had brought the news. As soon as she opened the door, she saw Gabriel with a bruised and swollen face being stepped on by Luke, barely alive.

"Well, well, pretty school nurse, are you here to treat my injuries?" Luke raised his hand. "It hurts so much here."

Lydia ignored him and hurried anxiously to Gabriel. Without bothering to ask what had happened, she frowned at Luke. "Hey, lift your foot and let the injured student on the ground get up."

Luke's expression changed. "New school nurse, you don't seem to understand the situation."

Diana chimed in, "Hey, this is none of your business. Mind your own business or you'll get in trouble. Get out!"

Lydia frowned at Principal Quinn, who looked uncomfortable and shook his head at her, seemingly hinting that she shouldn't get involved.

But as an educator and a doctor, how could she just stand by and watch someone die?

Seeing that no one else would help, Lydia bit her lip and stood up, looking seriously at Luke. "Young man, move your foot, or I'm calling the police."

"Stupid bitch, mind your own business." Luke's face instantly darkened, and he raised his hand to hit Lydia.

Lydia quickly covered her head in fear, but the next second, Luke had been kicked into the wall.

Before anyone in the room could react, Evelyn had already grabbed an ashtray from a nearby table with a cold expression and smashed it into his face without hesitation.

Then she helped Gabriel up and said calmly to Lydia, "Please help treat my brother's injuries."

"Holy shit, fat bitch, you have a death wish!" Luke clutched his stomach, howling and making threats.

This broke Diana's heart. She shoved Principal Quinn aside and screamed as she rushed at Evelyn.

"You dare kick my son? Do you know who my husband is? With a snap of his fingers, he can crush your whole family of losers like ants!" In her roar, her hand swung hard toward Evelyn's face.

Evelyn was about to dodge when Gabriel suddenly struggled forward and took the slap for her.

He immediately spat out a mouthful of blood but still stood in front of Evelyn. "No one's touching my sister!"

"Ha, you think you can stop us?" Diana sneered, helping Luke retreat behind the bodyguards she'd brought. "You guys, break this pair of siblings' legs first."

The frost in Evelyn's eyes instantly turned into raging fire. If she'd planned to hide her skills before coming here, she'd completely changed her mind now.

She was going to show this mother and son what hell looked like.
