Rosalina's Point of View

"You and Jason are twins but you are the oldest. The oldest pup of the king is the only one who can take over and rule the werewolf kingdom," Kane said.

"I don't get how that could be possible. I wasn't raised in the werewolf community. There is no way I could be their queen," I said

"Rose, I know this is a lot. You have learned that you are not only a werewolf but the future ruler of them. I can see how that could be scary but what I am telling you is the truth. You are meant to rule," Knae replied. It was too much and I didn't want to talk about it anymore.

"Kane, can we just drop this for now, please. I don't want to talk about it," I said

"Okay, that's fine. We need to focus on school anyway," Kane replied. The first half of school went by slower than ever. I couldn't stop thinking about what Kane had told me about me. I still couldn't understand how I could be the future queen and ruler over all the werewolves. I was so happy when it was time for lunch.

"What do you think about going out for lunch?" Kane asked as I was putting my stuff in my locker. Kelly had lunch detention for getting into an argument with someone.

"That sounds good ," I replied, and Kane started to look in space, letting me know that he was mind linking with someone. A moment later he looked at me

"Something has come up. I have to go.I am sorry we can't go to lunch," Kane said

"It's alright. Is everything alright?" I asked

"Yes, I just have to take care of some pack stuff. I," Kane said

"Okay," I replied.

"Hey," I looked up to see Jason

"Hey," I said.

"Hey, I have to head back to the packhouse. Something came up," Kane said

"Okay, you go ahead. I will hand with Lina," Jason said. Kane gave me a hug and kissed me on the top of my head.

"I will be back to pick you up after school," Kane said

"Okay," I replied, and Kane left.

"Let's get some food," Jason said

"Okay," I replied

"Come on," Jason said. I was shocked when he walked past the cafeteria

"I thought we were going to eat," I said

"We are but I don't eat in the cafeteria," Jason said. I thought about it and realized I never saw him in the cafeteria. I had never seen him in the school. I didn't meet him until the party he threw at his house.

Jason went up to the second floor and opened a door. The room was big. There was a buffet with different types of food.

"This is where you normally eat?" I asked. Now I understood why I never saw him in the cafeteria.

"Yeah, mom and dad set this up," Jason said and we walked over to the buffet to get some food. Then, we sat at a table.

"What do you think?" Jason asked as I took a bite of the ribeye steak I had chosen

"It's very good. I get why you don't eat in the cafeteria. I wouldn't either if I were you," I said

"Well now you don't have to," Jason said

"What do you mean?" I asked

"You are a royal as well. That means this is for you as well," Jason said. The door opened and Nichole walked inside. I didn't miss the glare she sent me when she saw I was sitting there before it turned into a forced smile.

"Hey, Nichole," Jason said

"Hey, Jason. Rosalina, you are here," Nichole said

"Of course, she is here. This is her food too," Jason replied.

"Of course. She is our sister," Nichole said and then she started to make her plate. After she was finished she sat beside me at the table. I was sitting between Jason and Nichole.

"I want to apologize to you for the way I treated you at the party. I feel terrible. I really hope you can forgive me. We are sisters after all," Nichole said

"You already apologized," I replied

"I know but I wanted to apologize again. I feel terrible and I don't want my actions to affect our relationship," Nichole said and I just smiled.

"the two of you will get to know each other and I am sure you will get along," Jason replied

"Yeah, we are staying with you now. Oh, how do you feel about being mated to Kane? I know you must be worried about him being faithful because he is a playboy. You don't have to worry. You were raised about humans and don''t understand that mate bond. I am sure Kane will stay faithful to you," Nichole said

"Of course he will. That shouldn't even be a question. She is his mates and people change they find their mates," Jason said.

I know but I am not sure Rosalina knows that. Kane has been with more girls than I can count. He even tried to be with me but I turned him down. I told him I was waiting for my mate..."

"He did what?" Jason asked angrily.
