Rosalina's Point of View

I knew I should have been shocked at what Queen Scarlet had told me, but I wasn't. As soon as I saw her, I knew that she was my mom. Not only because of our eyes but because of her scent.. Ever since I shifted, my senses have heightened. We headed up to Kane's and I guess my bedroom so that we could talk in private. We went to the family room and everyone sat down.

"I can't believe this. I really found you. I knew you were alive. Eveyroen kept saying that there was no way you survived, but I knew you did," Queen Scarlet said

"Calm Down, Love. Don't scare her," the king, whom I knew was my dad by his scent, said.

"I am sorry. I am not trying to scare you, sweetheart. I am just so happy. Can you believe this Michael. Our daughter is alive," Queen Scarlet said

"I know. I can tell by her scent. She is our pup," King Michael said

"It's strange, though. She didn't smell like this the other day. She smelled human," Jason added

"Yeah, well, a lot has happened since that party," Kane said

"What happened?" King Michael asked.

"Well, I shifted for the first time," I replied

"This is your first time shifting? You should have shifted a long time ago," Queen Scarlet said.

"There is a lot of things we need to talk to you about. There is a reason it took longer for her to shift. She had been given wolfsroot since she was little" Kane said

"Wolfsroot! Who would give her that? Whoever it is will pay," King Michael said.

"Hold on. How about everyone calms down? How do we know that she is really your daughter? What if this is some type of trick," Nichole said and everyone looked at her

"There is no way this is a trick. I know she is my daughter," Queen Scarlet said

"I agree. I knew even before she shifted that Aur... I mean, Rosalina was my sister. I felt a connection to her," Jason added.

"I felt one with you too. I just didn't know why," I replied

"There is a lot we need to talk about. We were planning on talking to you when you got here but you automatically sensed that Rose was your daughter. When she shifted for the first time, I had a feeling she was a royal and then our pack doctor confirmed that she had Danali blood. So we instandlty knew that she had royal blood in her," Kane said

"Why did you think she was a royal?" King Michael asked

"Because her wolf is unique. She is golden," Kane said and King Michael and Queen Scarlet sighed

"Golden! You are a very special wolf," King Michael replied

"What I don't understand is who gave her wolfroot?" Queen Scarlet said

"That is another thing we needed to talk to you about. I have a feeling it was the woman who raised her that did it. I think she is human but her name is Tina,"

"Tina," Queen Scarlet said

"Yeah, my moms name is Tina. She looks a lot like you actually but with different eyes," I said and King Michael and Queen Scarlet looked at each other.

"Do you have a picture?"

"Yes," I said and I took my cell out and showed them a picture of my mom. "She looks a lot like you," I said

"That is because she is my twin," Queen Scarlet said and I just stayed silent. I wasn't shocked. They looked so much alike.

"So, my mom is a werewolf," I said

"No she is not. we have different fathers," Queen Scarlet said and I looked at her with a shocked expression

"but you just said you are twins," I said

"We are fraternal twins. You see we have the same mom but different dads. My dad is a werewolf. He is an alpha and my mom's mate. Tina's dad and our mom were best friends. They grew up together. He was a warlock. Our mom, your grandmother, saw him as a brother, but he wanted more. One day, when our mom was visiting some friends, he drugged her and forced himself on her. My dad knew instantly because he felt the pain of betrayal. When he found out what Raymond did, he was ready to kill him, but somehow Raymond escaped before he could. No one has ever seen him again. Anyway, a month later, my mom found out she was pregnant with twins. My dad didn't want to get a paternity test, and my mom agreed. When we were born, everything was fine. My dad instantly accepted us. When we were sixteen, I got my wolf, but Tina didn't. At first, our parents thought she was a late bloomer, but when she turned seventeen, she showed signs of magic. That was when our parents started to worry. They got a DNA test done secretly on both of us and found out that I was my dad's daughter but Tina wasn't. That was when they realized that she was Raymond's. They never say anything to us about it. My dad treated us both as his. He didn't care that she wasn't his biological daughter. But Tina got suspicious and started to look around. She found the DNA test and confronted them. That was when they told us the truth. Tina acted like she was okay with it, but I could tell she wasn't."

"That is so sad," I said

"Yes, it is, but that doesn't make what she did right. I can't believe she faked you and her murder, and kidnapped you. I am not going to let her get away with this," King Michael said, and I could tell he was angry by his facial expression.
