Chapter 27

Chapter 27
Rosalina's Point of View

"What do you think?" Kelly asked after she finished my makeup. When I agreed to go to this party with her, I had no idea she was planning on giving me a makeover. She did my hair and makeup and picked out my outfit, which was a short light blue dress. It wasn't slut short where someone would be able to see my panties or anything but it was shorter than I liked.

"Kelly, don't you think this is too much? Can't I just wear jeans?" I asked.

"Absolutely not, Lina. This isn't the type of party where you can wear jeans," Kelly said

"Do I have to wear this dress? How about I change into a different one that isn't so short," I said

"You look hot, Lina. You are wearing this dress. It isn't that short. Trust me, most will be wearing things way shorter than this," Kelly said, and I sighed

"Fine, I will wear the dress," I said

"Good. Now we should get going," Kelly said. Kellly and I grabbed our phones and purses before leaving. When we got outside, there was a limo waiting at the front entrance. It was crazy to me how many times I had ridden in a limo since moving to the Crimson Pack. Before this, I had never been in a limo before.

I was shocked when we left the town of Crimsom. "Where is the party going to be? I didn't know we were leaving the Crimson," I said

"It's about an hour away in a town called Royal. Oh, and so you know, the person having the party is very rich," Kelly said

"You are very rich," I replied

"True, but let's just say Jason's house is bigger than ours. My dad owns everything in Crimson, and they own everything in the Royal Pa... I mean the city of Royal. Their town is way bigger than Crimson," Kelly said.

"Oh," was all I could say. Then a thought came to me. "You said the person throwing the party goes to Crimson High, right?" I asked

"Yeah, Jason and his adopted sister do," Kelly replied

"Why do they go to school so far away from where they live?" I asked.

"They have been going to school with us since elementary. The schools in Crimson are the best," Kelly replied.

We made it to the town of Royal. All of the houses were nice, like mansions. We pulled up to a giant Golden Gate, which had about five people guarding it. One of the men came up to the limo and spoke to the driver, and a few minutes later, the gate opened. We drove for about twenty minutes. It was like its own little town beyond the gate. We passed more houses, a park, a shopping center, and a gas station. Then, a giant house came into view. It was way bigger than Jeffrey, just like Kelly said.

The driver stopped as close as he could to the entrance and let us out. There were a lot of other limos parked as well. There were a lot of people talking outside. I recognized some of them from school.

Kelly and I went inside, which was filled with people. Rap music was blasting on the speaker. There were people dancing while others were talking or making out. "Come on. Let's get a drink," Kelly said

"Okay," I replied, and we headed to the kitchen. Some of Ashley's friends were in the kitchen when we got there. They all looked were staring at me. I decided to ignore them and took the can of soda that Kelly held out for me. I might have been ignoring them, but Kelly glared at them before speaking.

"What the hell are you looking at. Go find something else to do," Kelly said, and they left the kitchen.

"You didn't have to do that," I told Kelly

"Yes, I did. They are annoying. They are Kelly's sidekicks," Kelly said

"Hello, Kelly," A girl around my age said.

"Oh, here we go," Kelly said before she put on a fake smile.

"Nichole, how are you?" Kelly said to the girl.

"I have been fine. Hello, you are Kane and Kelly's stepsister right?" Nichole asked

"Yes, hello, My name is Rosalina," I said

"Mmm," Nichole said as if she wasn't interested. "Did your brother come here. I heard he broke up with that bitch Ashley," Nichole asked. She looked aroudn like she was looking for him

"No, he is not here. He had to work," Kelly said

"Oh, that's too bad. Now that he is single I think it's time I let him know that he is mine," Nichole said. I didn't like what she was saying. I wanted to tell her that he wasn't hers. That he was mine but I decided to stay silent.

"I wouldn't get my hopes up, Nichole," Kelly said

"Why do you say that?" Nichole asked

"Because I know my brother, and he is not interested in you," Kelly replied

"We will see about that," Nichole said and then she looked at me glared at me before walking away.

"What was that about?" I asked

"Oh, she is just jealous because she knows Kane is yours and not hers. She is trying to start something," Kelly said

"Huh," I replied

"Don't worry about it. Let's go dance," Kelly said, and we headed to the dance floor. We danced to a few songs before heading back into the kitchen.

"How about a drink?" Kelly asked

"Yeah, I will take water," I said

"Not that kind of drink. I mean this," Kelly said as she pointed to the bartender. I was shocked that there was a person making alcoholic drinks because most of the people at the party were students and not of legal age to drink.

"I don't know," I said

"Oh, come on. Just one drink," Kelly said

"Okay," I replied. The bartender made me a strawberry daiquiri, and it tasted nice and sweet. I ended up getting two others, and soon I was feeling tipsy.
