Chapter 72 072

Chapter 72 072
Mona had only been to the biggest amusement park when she was very little, and coming here again brought back her childhood memories.
The weak golden light hit the good-looking side of Leo’s face, making him look softer all over. Mona would never have thought that she would be standing next to him in the amusement park along her kids.
Leo turned his head to look at Mona, as he could feel her stare. No matter what he was like, Mona didn't want to have anything to do with him except for her kids. She had learned a lessons, and she would no longer be foolish enough to fall.
"Mom, I want to play this!" Luke soon ran over excitedly with a flushed face, looking quite thrilled.
Mona looked where he was pointing. It turned out to be Ultraman Battle Monster's 4D amusement park. Luke had always been quite serious, so it was unusual for him to look so happy.
"Let's line up together," Mona replied with a smile. After saying this, she observed the silent Leo behind them. Thinking about it, she found that even Leo couldn't get along well with Ultraman, so she said, "Mr. Cox, please wait here. Later, we'll meet at the exit.”
But Leo scowled and stared back and forth between Ultraman and Luke. In the end, he said, "'| go with you."
Five minutes later, the powerful Mr. Cox boarded the Ultraman warship and set off with Luke to kill monsters. Luke couldn't hide his excitement.
Mona sat behind them and watched as Leo’s brows stayed tight. She could not help but silently laugh. If people learned that Mr. Cox was riding an Ultraman warship to fight monsters, their jaws would undoubtedly drop.
After fighting up the creatures, the atmosphere between them became much more calm. Luke, who had been avoiding Leo all this while, also tried to extend out his hand to him. When Luke grabbed Leo with his tiny hand, Leo paused slightly. He bent his head to gaze at the worried Luke and acted nothing had occurred.
"Luke is shy." Rue whispered to Mona, who was little surprised.
Unknowingly, her children's attitude toward Leo had softened dramatically. She wasn't sure if this was a good thing or a terrible thing.
Luke took Leo’s hand and led him back to the front of the pirate ship. "Uncle, I want to take this. Will you come with me?"
Leo bent down to see him. "What did you call me?"
"You haven't won our emotional approval, so we won't call you father." Luke said.
Leo didn't think he would say something like that. He made fun of them and stated, "I'm still your father, whether you like it or not."
"But we don't have to call you dad." Luke glanced at Leo without fear.
For a minute, Leo looked Luke in the eye before curling his lips. "Okay! Let's see how you test me.”
Luke was only able to relax a bit after that. "Now let's go play on the pirate ship," he said.
Leo smiled even more broadly. "Come on."
Luke and Leo went on the pirate ship. Rue, on the other hand, clutched Mona’s neck fiercely. "I don’t want to go. I'm afraid
Mona had to say to Leo, "Sorry to bother you."
Leo didn't say anything. He looked at her for a long time before getting on the pirate ship with Luke.
Luke laughed from a distance after the machine started. Mona couldn't help but smile when she saw his smile from below.
"Can I have ice cream, Mom?" Rue asked Mona in a quiet voice.
Mona caressed her little nose and remarked, "You and Luke just got better. You can't eat too much. You can only share half of it.”
"Don't even think about asking Luke for it. I won't buy it for you next time if you eat too much."
Rue said sadly, "I see."  She  gave Luke half of her ice cream when he got off the pirate ship. They started to eat.
Mona didn't know Leo was gone until then. Is it possible that he passed out on the pirate ship? She was still making wild assumptions when she saw him walk over with an Ultraman and a Mickey Mouse balloon. She was shocked. Why did he buy this?
Leo gave the balloon to Luke and Rue. The two kids enthusiastically grabbed it, and the mood changed for the better.
