Mona went back to the hospital deep in contemplation after seeing Helen go crazy at the police station. Both Luke and Rue were still asleep at the time. 

Mrs. Jenner and Mr. Jenner stood beside their beds, fuming with rage. "How can someone be so cruel as to hurt such little kids? She's really bad! We need to figure out how to make sure she gets a tough punishment.”

Mona’s eyes got icy when Helen was mentioned. She wasn't sure if Helen’s current mental state was real or just a show, but she wouldn't let her get away no matter what. 

"I've already given this case to the Zenith Group's legal department. The cox Group's lawyers are also working on the case."

When Mr. Jenner and Mrs. Jenner heard this, they looked worriedly at Mona, but said nothing. 

Mona scowled when she saw Leo. He gave her a document, as predicted, and his face become serious. "Tell me more." 

Her worries doubled instantly when she saw that the paternity test results showed a 99.99% match. It's no surprise that he wanted to keep the kids at the warehouse. This was what he had planned. 

She calmly glanced at him and asked, "What do you mean?" 

Leo looked at her for a moment, then leaned in a little. "Who gave you the nerve to have my kids and even change the results? Was it Mr. Reggie? His son had lately gotten into a lot of debt from gambling and was anxious for a way out...”

“So you gave him the money?” Mona asked. 

He felt wrath rising from the depths of his heart when he saw her like way. He grabbed her wrist and shouted with a harsh look in his eyes, "How dare you lie to me and give birth to my kids?" 

Mona blinked and added, "I told you they were my children, my own children. Only mine.”

Leo’s mood got even worse as he remembered what she had said to him in the car. He had a strange sense of unease when he thought about her lying in the hospital bed, powerless and battling for her life.

"Leave me alone?" His voice was sharp and angry.

Mona’s face shifted somewhat, and she stared at him with caution. "What are you going to do?" 

Leo smiled coldly and pointed to the bodyguards behind him. The four guards quickly moved to the front of the room, making sure the door was locked. Mona was shocked.

"During this period, they will be in charge of keeping the kids safe,” Leo responded, "I'll wait for you to come and talk to me about the rest." He looked at her in a way that said something and then departed. 

Mona clenched her teeth. She knew what Leo was talking about. He wouldn't let her have his kids without a care in the world, and he wouldn't allow her lie to him either. She wouldn't be worried if he was battling her for custody, but she would be anxious if he took the kids away.

Her eyes clouded as she thought about this.

Sydney, on the other hand, wasn't doing well either, having troubles with her script. She asked Tara to help her with the script without. 

But even though Sydney was going to become the Mrs. Cox of the Cox Group, only a few people gave her the script, and her film and TV resources fell apart. 

"Didn't you tell them that I'm Leo’s fiancée?" Sydney couldn't help but break a vase and ask Tara angrily after the director turned her down again. 

Tara shivered and added, "Yes, they hinted that you should bring money to the crew. You should bribe them.”

Sydney’s face got more and more angry. When she first won the best actress award, people ran after her with scripts and urged her to act. Now, a minor storm of public opinion scared them away. They were all cowards, that's for sure. 

She was ready to keep swearing when she heard a disturbance at the door.

"Leo, you're back." 

Sydney smiled and nestled up to him, but Leo gradually moved away from her. 

"Are you in a good mood today?" Leo scowled when he smelled the delicious smell in the air. 

"What's wrong with the vase that's on the ground?" 

Sydney stopped moving. "Tara is just a little careless. You won't blame her, will you?”

Tara’s heart fell. She was ready to say something when she saw Sydney’s angry gaze and had to bow her head in shame. 

Sydney rushed to stop Leo just as he was about to go upstairs. She said, "Leo, I've been interested in a production team lately. It will go viral, but I don't have any money to put into it. Could you...”

Leo stopped in his tracks. "How much do you want?" 

Sydney was quite happy. She pointed with her fingers and said, "25 million dollars." 

Leo agreed and gave her a check right away. "Take it." 

Sydney was shocked. She figured it would take a lot of work to get him to accept, but she didn't expect Leo to say yes so quickly. Her mind raced with a million thoughts as she held the tiny check in her palm. She finally called a number. 

"Mom, I don't want Mona to ever get back together with Leo! If you succeed, I'll give you two million dollars." 

“Really?” Rachel asked. 

Sydney hung up right away without responding. Only she could be called "Mrs. Cox"



Mona wasn’t aware that Sydney was after her. She stared at the security with black sunglasses at the door and twisted her lips in frustration.

"Mom?" Luke and Rue woke up and grinned right away. 

She came forward and caressed their heads with a heavy heart. "Do you feel bad now? Are you scared?" 

This time, the two kids, who should have been wailing, shook their heads instead. "No! We didn't cry at the warehouse because we knew Mom would come get us right away.”

Mona felt sorry when she saw the kids' eyes full of faith. She put her hands on their heads. "You are correct. Don't be scared no matter what happens. Mom will come to get you. We can't be apart.”
