Ivy's POV

I got woken up by a stubborn headache and I could tell it was because of the worry that I had to do even while I was being thrusted so hard by Anderson.
" How are you feeling?" Anderson's hands wrapped around me and drew me closer to himself.
I wrapped myself in his skin as he kissed me all over but the headache won't just let me be and it was beginning to get me worried.

" I think I need to go see my doctor today," I said.
" Are you okay? Is there something I need to know about!" He sat upright as he asked those questions.

I was beginning to feel pity for him but I brought myself back to reality, there is no pity. Their family would not think twice to throw me out of here.
" Nothing at all, I just want to get on with my usual routine checkup and it's been a while since I visited my doctor," I said with a light laugh.
" I'll drop you off at the hospital," he said.

I froze, I hated that he would want to know the particular hospital that was helping me cover my lies.
" You do not have to worry about that. I do not want you getting to work late because of me, besides, I'll head out later in the day, I'll have to rest for now" I lied.

I quickly laid down and closed my eyes, pretending to be asleep so fast so he can let me be.
I heard the door closed and I got up from the bed.

I stood beside the window and watched as he drove out. My heart was racing a million ways. I thought about Lily and what she might be planning.

I got downstairs and grabbed some waffles, got a drink and went over to Lily's place. I knew Oscar was not at home and it was just her.

" I can not believe you came all the way here just to see me, and if you are here to talk me out of what I have decided to do, just know that it is not going to work" she said.
She folded her hands under her breast and gave me a disgusting look.

I walked inside her house and sat by the arm of the chair.
" You have no right to go ahead with it. And if you dare try to be silly, you know too well that you have so many things you want to remain hidden" I said to her even though I did not have anything against her at the moment but I was going to find a way around it.

She laughed, she did not look scared and I was sure it was because she knew that I had no idea about any of her secrets.
" I dare you," she said to me.
" I dare you to go ahead and spill any secrets you know that I am hiding. You are way too dumb to know anything, how then are you going to have something about me?" She asked.

Yeah, that was correct but what she does not know is that I have to do a lot of digging to find something on her and I am going to do that.
" Do not be silly, I can figure this out and maybe you should try keeping your mouth shut if you also want my mouth shut as well" I said to her and walked away.

I hope she thinks it through and know what she was doing because I am going to find a lot on her considering the kind of person she is.

I got back into the house but could not rest about it. I found it disturbing that she took it lightly and thinks that I won't do anything to her.

I got into the car and asked the driver to take me to the hospital. I got inside and went to my doctor's office. I got there, sat down and just hoped that nothing was wrong with my baby.

I know the brain tumor might have risen it's ugly head in the last one week, because I have been very busy and doing a lot of running around.

" You look stressed, tell me what it is" he said.
He could see through me and there was no need lying to him about it.

" It is the family I am married Into, a lot of things go on there and it has only been a great stress to me" I said.
I raised my head and looked at him, hoping that he would believe me and just let it be.

" And that is because you got involved in it, isn't it?" He looked at me.
" I am part of that family"
" I told you to take enough rest and not bother with the things going on there as long as it does not affect you. The baby needs that rest" he said, as his eyes went to my belly.

I ran my hands around my belly and just looked the other way.
