Ivy's POV

He tried to get my attention by waving his hands at me. I looked at him and sighed. I knew I was meant to protect my baby from any stress but the family won't let it happen and all I ever wanted was to serve them what they did to me.

" You should rest often and make sure you do not engage in things that stresses you, like the family problems going on in the house," he said.

I was part of the problems and even caused some of the problems,how can I not see it to the end.
" I will" I lied.

I was never going to do that.
" And sleep often to help your brain muscles relax" he looked at my eyes.
I have not been having the amount of sleep that needs to be had.
" I will do that as well" I lied again.

I just needed to assure him that I was going to be good. I should be worried about myself but I'm not. I'm more worried about my baby, and whatever wrong I did, affected her.

" Thank you" I took the letter he had given me and left his office.
I got home and just went through the letter. It was a compiled list of things that I was not allowed to do and the things I was obliged to do.

I folded the paper and kept it in my file. I had better things to worry about and not this.

I got back into the car after searching online for the address of one of Lily's sex mates.
He must have something to hold against her as I saw them in a fight the last time.

The driver took me to his house, I got down from the car and made my way to the door. I got there, knocked and patiently waited for it to be opened and if it was not going to be opened, I'll hang around till it gets opened.

Luckily for me, it opened. I raised my head and saw the man in front of me. I recognized him from that very day. He is tall and quite intimidating.
" Who are you and what do you want?" He asked me.
His voice suits the body too well, intimidating as well.

" I just want to speak with you about someone," I said.
He looked at me thoroughly.
" Who's that?" He arched his brows.
" Lily," I said.

He looked outside and then looked back at me.
" Are you alone?" He asked as his eyes went to the car.
" Just the driver," I responded.

He opened the door wider for me to get in. I sat down and waited for him to do the same.
I saw the way his eyes looked at me and I knew he was skeptical about letting me into his house.

" What about her? Did something happen to her?" He asked.
" No" I shook my head.

I ran my eyes all over the house and then turned to face him.
" I saw you once with her. You two seemed to be having an argument, it was a long time ago. I want to know what that was all about" I said.

I knew it sounded like thrash and he would probably ask me to leave his house.
" It was about some clips of hers in my possession after she made me lose a record deal that was meant to change my life. I'm still in this little house because of her, she ruined everything for me" he said.

I could feel the change in his voice. I knew that I had to open a wound that he might have tried to close.
" What did she do to you? I haven't been looking her up" he asked me.
" She married the man I was meant to marry," I said.
Even though I no longer feel bad, because Oscar is an ass hole and I am glad I did not end up marrying someone like that.

" And you are here because?" He raised his eyebrows.
" I know you have something in your possession that I can use in scaring her off. I do not know what it is but anything will be fine. And you should go after her like the way she went after you, don't you want your life back?" I asked him.

He stood up and walked around for a while.
" And you are?"
" I'm Ivy"
" I'm Dan," he let out a weak smile which I felt was unnecessary.
" I'll be back," he said as he walked into another room.

He came out after a while with a laptop that looked old. He opened it and pushed it to me.
" She is scared of one thing and that is it," he said.
