Chapter – 17
Trisha's POV
Why? why? How could my grandpa do this to me? Doesn't he know how much this company matters to me? This was my father's dream to see me as the CEO of this company.
I am the most unlucky daughter who doesn't even remember her father properly. After I lost my memory my uncle told me everything. I want to fulfil his dreams. I want to handle the company my dad made.
Why? Grandpa, why? He blackmailed me to do this marriage with Vihaan using the company. When I fulfil this he told me the bitter truth of my marriage. He broke my trust. How could he do this to me?
Now, what will I tell Mohit? Mohit is always a very supportive boyfriend. He knows the importance of the company in my life. He let me marry Vihaan so that I don't lose the position. He always supports me. Now if I say to him that I cannot end this marriage within 10 years, how will he react?
If I want him to wait for me for 10 years then that will be very selfish of me. But how will I survive without him? I love him. He loves me. How will I live without each other?
This is so wrong. Vihaan…I also trusted him! I am angry with him. But What could I expect from an outsider when my own grandpa betrayed me?
I cannot stop my tears. I felt empty inside. Neither I can continue this marriage nor do I want to lose my position in the company. Then how? How will I manage everything? God, Please help me.
I was about to pass the main gate of our house when I collided with someone and fell on the ground "oww".
Vihaan's POV
No…no…no, this cannot happen. She cannot hate me. How could she blame me? I have no idea about anything. At least she should have listened to my side of the story before concluding anything. Even a criminal gets a chance to explain himself before conviction. And here, Trisha directly blamed me without even listening to me.
I don't know what Tarun sir has told her but she should have listened to me.
I don't understand why Tarun sir is saying these things to Trisha. I never agreed to such a clause. I never even heard of it from Tarun sir. Then why did tell Trisha such a thing? I have to talk to him.
If my control power was not good then maybe till now I would have started running to his room. But I can control my emotions very well. This is the benefit of practice. I have been doing this for years. So it doesn't matter how much turmoil is going on inside my heart, I can maintain my calm posture.
No, I cannot wait anymore. I have to talk to him as soon as possible. I want explanations. Why did he say such a thing to Trisha? Why is he ruining my newly established bonding between Trisha and me? Why? why? Why? I want an answer.
Third Person's POV
Mr Tarun Mallik was doing some work on the mahogany table in his office room at home when Vihaan came inside the room opening the door with a thud.
Tarun Mallik sighed. He didn't need to look up to see the person who entered the room. He had already expected this.
" why?"
Without wasting a single second Vihaan directly came to the point.
"No, hi…hello…how are you? Is this how you greet your mentor?" - Mr Tarun said. He was unfazed by Vihaan's sudden arrival in the office.
" Sir, please why are you doing this? Why? 'She' now hates me. Why are you ruining my relationship? She believes I conspired with you to get the company shares. Why was she talking about some clauses which I have no idea about? I don't want anything! Why are you doing this? Do you have any sense of how this ruined everything? " - Vihaan inquired with a raised voice and stood up from his wheelchair.
"Watch your tone, young man? Don't forget who I am. I will not tolerate this! Maybe you are no longer part of my troop but I still can punish you." - Mr Tarun stated sternly.
Vihaan immediately straightened up and apologized " I am sorry, sir. I didn't mean to disrespect you. But I want an explanation, sir. Why? Why did you do this?"
"Are you doubting my intention?" - Tarun said, narrowing his eyes.
"Sir, I am not doubting! You have taken my question wrongly! I am not doubting you." - Vihaan said with a firm voice.
Vihaan trusts Mr Tarun more than he trusts himself. But due to the situation, he had to question him.
"Vihaan! Trisha is my dear granddaughter. And you are also very dear to me. I will never do anything that will harm you or her. I hope you will believe my intention and do as I say." - Mr Tarun said with a serious expression.
" But sir - "
Vihaan got interrupted when the door of the room suddenly opened from outside.
"Dad how could - Vihaan! You! …you are standing! " Kabir exclaimed with shock.
Tarun and Vihaan exchanged a look which helped Kabir to understand, Vihaan can walk and his father knew about it.
" So you can walk! Trisha was right. Both of you are betraying Trisha! I will tell Trisha everything. I will not let both of you play with my daughter's emotions." Kabir warned them. ( Here he refers to his niece as his daughter. Karan is Trisha's paternal uncle.)
Vihaan looked horrified hearing this but Mr Tarun still maintained his calm expression and gave his son a sharp look.
