Don't blame me for your Death

luna POV:

"I am ready whe you are" He said.

Isabella grinned "Don't blame me for your death, you chose this"

Isabella struck first, her movements so fluid and precise that they seemed almost supernatural. Her blade slashed through the air like a viper, aimed directly at Gabriel's chest. My heart lurched, knowing the danger he was in.

Gabriel masterful defenses seemed feeble against Isabella's relentless assault without a sword to defend himself with. She kept up with him pace and movement. It felt like she had telegraphed his whole movements and saw them from yesterday. Time and again, her blade found its mark, leaving deep, bleeding gashes on Gabriel's body. Each cut was a dagger in my heart, and I winced with every agonizing strike.

She moved with a grace that sent shivers down my spine, and Gabriel, wounded and struggling, could not keep up. Blood dripped from his wounds, staining the forest floor like a macabre canvas.

My fear for Gabriel's life was overwhelming. Isabella's attacks were relentless, and it was clear that she had no intention of showing mercy. With each passing moment, I prayed for some miracle to turn the tide of battle, to protect Gabriel from the inevitable.

Isabella's relentless assault continued, her sword a blur of silver as she attacked from every angle. I watched, helpless, as her blade sliced across Gabriel's thigh, then his shoulder, and finally, a brutal strike to his side that left him gasping for breath.

Gabriel, battered and broken, sank to his knees in defeat. My heart ached with a profound sense of helplessness. Isabella hit him hard with the end of his sword knocking him out cold.

My world had narrowed down to a singular, terrifying point, Gabriel unconscious body before the merciless Isabella.

A cold fear, raw and primal, coursed through me as I watched Isabella's blade poised for the final, fatal strike. In that moment, my fragmented memories meant nothing; the only truth was the desperate need to protect the man I cared for.

I felt something snapped in me. I surged foward with inhuman speed, I closed the distance between us in an heartbeat and struck at Isabella. My strike hit her like a thunderbolt, sending her hurtling through the air, a few meters away.

She stood, her eyes ablaze with rage and surprise. Before she could regain her composure, I moved with a swiftness I didn't understand. I sidestepped her lunge effortlessly, as if I had danced this deadly dance a thousand times before.

My hands closed around her neck, the cold, unfeeling fingers of a force I didn't recognize and raised her up. Isabella dangled above the ground, while struggling to breather, her struggles futile against the chilling grip. In that moment, time seemed to freeze, and I could feel the darkness that lurked within me.

With a shocking finality, I snapped Isabella's neck. The soft sound of her neck cracking reverberated throught the whole forest. A rush of power surged through me, a power that was both terrifying and exhilarating. I tossed her lifeless body aside like a ragged doll.

After getting my breath back, my mind finally settled on the fact I had just killed Isabella. I was left standing there, my mind clouded with confusion. Who was I? What had just transpired? What have I done? How did I do that?

I remembered Gabriel and rushed to his side. Right now, he was all that matters to me. The only thing clear and apparent in my mind was the bond I feel with this man.

I thought of what to do and how to resuscitate him. I was grateful for the horses nearby. I supported his whole weight on my arm as I carried walked him to the horses.
