Chapter 11 The smell of blood
Leondra opened her eyes; she hadn't slept since earlier. Then Leondra looked at Henary, who was fast asleep.
"I'm going out for a bit, dear," said Leondra as she gently kissed Henary's forehead.
Leondra then used her super speed to go to the forest. She sucked the blood of various animals.
"This is delicious," she said with a laugh. Leondra also felt her energy increasing.
Actually, Leondra wanted to suck human blood, then make that human her personal servant. However, some time ago, Leondra had made a promise that she would not harm humans.
"I'm full enough. I'll hunt again in two days," said Leondra as she wiped the blood dripping from her lips.
Leondra then returned, saw Henary still asleep, and decided to lie down beside him.
Henary suddenly opened his eyes, his stomach feeling very nauseous.
"What's wrong?" Leondra asked with a worried expression.
Henary looked at Leondra while covering his mouth. "Where have you been, Leondra? Why does your body smell like blood?" Henary said with a slightly nervous voice.
"Damn! I tried to get rid of the smell," Leondra grumbled to herself.
"Honestly, I am sensitive and don't like the smell of blood. When Alpha Almarjaf eats red meat and hunts, I feel disgusted and scared," explained Henary.
Leondra tried to control her emotions when she heard Henary's explanation.
"You didn't go hunting or eat raw meat, did you? As far as I know, our clan of witches doesn't do things like that," said Henary with a worried look on her face.
Leondra chuckled softly as she gently stroked Henary's head. "Of course I didn't do that. I woke up because someone was disturbing us, but you don't need to worry, I got rid of them."
"Really?" asked Henary with a doubtful look. She still didn't fully trust Leondra.
"Henary's instincts are also very sharp and strong, she doesn't fully trust me yet," Leondra said to herself.
"I fought and killed him. His blood got on my body. I tried to clean myself and get rid of the smell, but it turns out you can still smell his blood," explained Leondra.
"You probably didn't notice because your body was exhausted. You were also sleeping very soundly," she continued.
"But are you okay? You're not hurt?" replied Henary.
"You don't need to worry, I'm fine. You probably won't be able to sleep again if you smell blood, I'll go clean myself up again," said Leondra.
"I'm sorry, Leondra. You must be really tired and want to sleep," said Henary softly. His face showed regret.
"It's okay, I understand you," Leondra smiled slightly, then walked towards the bathroom.
"Leondra is very understanding, unlike Alpha Almarjaf. He is cruel and heartless," Henary grumbled.
Henary remembered when she was forced to eat raw meat, even though she couldn't stand the smell.
"If I had known he loved Earl so much, I might not have agreed to the marriage. Unfortunately, I was just a weak girl back then," Henary said with a frustrated expression.
Leondra had finished cleaning herself and came out wearing only a white towel wrapped around her waist.
Henary, who saw this, felt embarrassed, of course. Leondra's body was absolutely perfect and looked very seductive.
"Leondra! Why did you come out wearing only a towel? You should have put your clothes on first," Henary grumbled irritably.
"I forgot to bring my clothes," Leondra replied casually. Then she walked slowly towards her wardrobe.
"She's deliberately teasing me," Henary muttered to himself.
Leondra smiled slightly when she heard Henary's thoughts. It turned out that her actions were easily predictable by Henary.
"Leondra, hurry up and put your clothes on. It's already midnight, aren't you sleepy?" said Henary.
Instead of grabbing her clothes, Leondra walked closer to Henary.
"Why are you here, Leondra? What are you trying to do?" Henary asked nervously.
"If I sleep without clothes, would you mind? I think it's pretty hot tonight," Leondra said, deliberately teasing Henary.
"That's not good, Leondra. Don't do that. If you don't want to wear your clothes, I'd rather sleep in another room," said Henary with a panicked expression.
"Why do you have to sleep in another room? Besides, I won't do anything to you," replied Leondra casually.
"Aren't you ashamed of me? I'm an adult woman, not a child. Don't you dare not wear your clothes," Henary grumbled angrily.
"Could it be that you're tempted by my body?" said Leondra, moving closer to Henary.
"Don't come any closer, Leondra." Henary said as she pushed Leondra away. Unfortunately, Henary's push caused the white towel to fall.
"Oh my God, Leondra. I didn't mean to," Henary said in a panic, spontaneously closing her eyes.
Leondra just chuckled and casually picked up the towel.
Henary peeked through her fingers and breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that Leondra had entered the bathroom.
"Shameful man. He teased me so casually, I guarantee I won't be tempted," Henary growled.
"Really, dear, you're not tempted? If that's the case, I'll try harder to tease you. Until you can't stand it anymore and we share the pleasure together," said Leondra from inside the bathroom.
Not long after, Leondra came out again. Of course, she was fully dressed.
"Why are you still approaching me, Leondra? We'd better just go to sleep. I'm sleepy," said Henary.
"I just want to make sure my body still smells of blood or not. Come closer, if you can still smell blood, just tell me." Leondra slowly pulled Henary's head closer.
Henary could no longer smell blood; he could only smell Leondra's soap.
"There's no smell of blood on your body," replied Henary.
"Yes. I cleaned it very thoroughly. I made sure you couldn't smell it anymore," said Leondra with a smile.
"Thank you, Leondra. Let's go back to sleep," said Henary.
"Okay," said Leondra as she lay down next to Henary.
"I want to hold you until morning, my dear," whispered Leondra as she hugged Henary's waist tightly.
Henary didn't refuse, she closed her eyes and stroked Leondra's hand that was hugging her.
"I want to bite your neck, then suck a little of your blood. It must taste very delicious," Leondra said to herself as she sniffed Henary's neck.
"I'll do it tomorrow," she continued with a slight smile.
