Chapter 10 Strange feeling
How many days did Henary continue to train diligently with Leondra, her strength also increasing.
"Leondra, thank you. Now I have gained new strength and I am much stronger," said Henary enthusiastically.
"I already told you, you don't need to thank me. I also want you to become a strong woman," replied Leondra, gently stroking Henary's cheek.
"I don't know how to repay you, you've been so good to me," muttered Henary.
"Just marry me, I'll be very happy. We'll live together forever," said Leondra with a small smile.
"I don't know why I'm not quite sure about agreeing to marry Leondra. I feel uneasy and can't bring myself to agree, even though Leondra has been so good to me," Henary said to herself.
Leondra, of course, heard Henary's thoughts. Her face looked angry because it turned out that Henary still didn't fully trust her.
"It turns out that all this time, Henary still doesn't fully trust me and he can't depend on me yet. I have to make him truly love me, and he won't be willing to lose me," Leondra said to herself.
"Are you still hesitant about getting married? Are you afraid I'll act like that stupid Wolf?" Leondra asked, staring seriously at Henary.
Henary didn't immediately answer Leondra's question because he wasn't sure about his own feelings either.
"Why aren't you answering? Do you still love that stupid Wolf, Henary?" Leondra growled, trying to control her emotions.
"No, Leondra. I'm just still unsure about my feelings," Henary muttered.
"You must understand, I've been hit with bad rumors. It's not certain that your family will agree," he continued.
"Oh my God, why are you thinking about that? I'll make my family agree, besides, those are just rumors that you didn't do anything about, Henary," said Leondra, clasping Henary's hand tightly and gently stroking the back of his hand.
"But still, that's what I'm afraid of, Leondra," Henary said softly.
"Okay, I understand. I'm not forcing you to act too hastily. You're better off focusing on yourself right now so you can unlock all your powers," said Leondra with a slight smile.
"You are so understanding," said Henary with a smile.
"Of course, I have to do that. I want the best for you," replied Leondra.
"At least, if you encounter even bigger problems in the future, you will already be a strong woman and I'm sure you can face them all," she continued, gently stroking Henary's head.
Henary hugged Leondra tightly, she was very happy with Leondra's attitude.
"I'm sure you're much easier to win over, and I won't fail to get you," Leondra said to herself.
Henary released her embrace and looked at Leondra. "I'm going to take a shower first, then we'll have dinner together."
"Okay, I'll wait for you." Henary then left Leondra, who continued to stare at Henary's back until she was no longer visible, having entered her room.
"Servants! Prepare the best dinner," Leondra ordered in a firm voice.
Leondra's three servants immediately obeyed her command.
Twenty-five minutes later, Henary had finished showering and walked toward the dining room. Henary saw Leondra sitting there waiting for him.
"Sorry, I made you wait too long," Henary said.
Leondra looked at Henary. Henary looked very seductive, she smiled slightly and then told Henary to sit down.
"It's okay. Sit down," said Leondra.
Henary smiled and sat down on one of the chairs.
Henary looked at the food that had been served on the table, there was only meat without any vegetables. Even though she had been eating meat for several days now.
"Why? Don't you like it?" asked Leondra, who could sense it from Henary's expression.
"I thought your servant cooked vegetables, but it turns out she didn't. It seems you don't like vegetables either," replied Henary with a soft chuckle.
"Would you like to eat vegetables?" Leondra offered Henary.
"Can I make my own later? I'll make a vegetable salad. I know you don't like vegetables, just like Alpha Almarjaf," said Henary.
"Don't compare me to that stupid wolf," grumbled Leondra.
"If you want to eat, I can have the servants make some for you," she continued.
"No need, I want to make it myself later. But it seems like there are no vegetables in your house," replied Henary.
Henary still remembered when he saw the three servants cooking vegetables, but they looked like they were trying to hold back nausea. Perhaps it was because they were used to eating meat on Leondra's orders.
"I'll have the servants buy the vegetables you want," said Leondra.
"How about I go with them to shop? Will you allow me?" asked Henary enthusiastically.
"No. It's still not safe for you to leave the house, especially since you haven't mastered all your powers yet," replied Leondra firmly.
"Okay. I understand," muttered Henary with a sad expression.
"This is for your own good. I don't want anything to happen to you. Once you become strong, I won't keep you locked up in the house anymore. I will definitely set you free," explained Leondra.
"I understand, Leondra. Let's just eat now," said Henary with a slight smile.
They then ate together quietly.
Leondra looked at Henary, who was enjoying the food. "I can't wait to make you like me," Leondra said to herself.
"I'm getting tired of eating like this all the time. I need fresh blood," she continued.
Leondra decided to leave when Henary fell asleep. She really wanted to enjoy some fresh blood to sustain her energy.
Henary was also a little surprised because Leondra didn't drink water after eating. But Leondra had explained that she was used to drinking after 30 minutes.
"I thought ordinary humans and witches liked all kinds of food, but I think Leondra is different," Henary said to himself.
"Leondra is quite unique because she is allergic to vegetables. Actually, which clan of witches does she belong to? Should I just ask Leondra?" he continued with a curious expression.
"Damn. Does Henary suspect me? Henary must not know that I am the Vampire King before he becomes strong and loves me," Leondra grumbled, holding back her anger.
