Chapter 103 Years Ago 1

Chapter 103 Years Ago 1
DEAN

Today is my father's damn wedding anniversary with my stepmother, where they throw an extravagant party to celebrate their hypocritical eight years of marriage.

Nothing infuriates me more than seeing my father's lover's face, so happy to have taken my mother's place, and the worst part is not having the slightest idea where my mother is, simply because my father refuses to tell me anything about her.

Traitor.

That's what my father is, a damned traitor who never respected my mother, the woman whose life she dedicated to a cold and calculating man, and even while fighting against the separation, she couldn't forgive the betrayal that happened right before her eyes.

I can't give many details about my parents' past together, because their separation occurred when I was six years old, and it was on that same day that my mother left me behind and never came back.

Sometimes I wonder if her intention was really to abandon me, or if my father prevented her from coming to look for me.

Actually, I avoid dwelling on this subject too much, because every time I force my mind to go back to that day, I get a terrible headache followed by extreme anger.

Two weeks ago I got into a fight with a boy from the football team, who insulted my mother and me.

However as simple as the event may seem, I must say that it wasn't.

I was expelled from school for leaving the boy in a coma—that's right, I beat him unconscious, and I must confess that I intended to kill him, plain and simple.

And as insensitive as I may be, I felt no remorse, much less apologized for what I did, and even after receiving a beating from my father, I remained firm in my decision not to apologize to that wretch.

Today I'm enrolled in another school, but judging by how quickly gossip travels, I don't think I'll last long in this one, and even less so in the others to come.

After all, what schools have in abundance are idiotic bullies who don't mince words when talking to me, and who risk testing what little patience I have left.

"Dean?" my little sister called.

"Come in," I said, turning my chair towards the door.

"Daddy said you should come down," Sofia said, looking at me with her little blue eyes.

"I'm coming now." I smiled, looking at her pretty pink dress.

"You look very beautiful."

"Thank you." She smiled, holding the hem of her dress.

"Mom bought it."

I forced a smile at the mention of Elena, but I really wanted to roll my eyes and whisper "bitch," but I couldn't do that in front of my half-sister, since she's not to blame for being that woman's daughter.

"Do you want to be my date tonight?" I held out my hand to the short girl in front of me.

"Yes." She smiled sweetly and placed her little hand on mine.

"Then let's go," I said, carrying her, and then went downstairs.

The party was exactly as I imagined it would be "extravagant," with people dressed as if they were visiting royalty, the food was as disgusting and expensive as possible, the decoration was all in shades of gold and silver, but there was one thing that saved this tacky circus, which was none other than the expensive and delicious champagne.

"Dean, my son," my father called.

"Come here and greet your uncles."

I put Sofia down and turned my back to my father, ignoring him, and from what I saw, he was visibly angry.

To hell with him and my petty uncles.

I smiled as I walked into the kitchen and stole two bottles of champagne before leaving the mansion through the servants' exit.

Then I got into my pickup truck and sped off toward the nearest strip club.

When I arrived at the strip club, I showed my fake ID to the security guard and went in with a cheeky grin on my face.

Inside the pickup truck, I had already drunk both bottles of champagne, and now I was heading towards the bar intending to buy a bottle of whiskey and drink it straight from the bottle.

After buying the whiskey, I started observing the club while taking a sip or two in a row.

Soon I spotted a half-naked blonde staring directly at me, and as soon as I smiled, she came over, swaying her big ass.

"Hello, sweetie." She had an extremely annoying voice.

"Hi," I said, staring at her breasts.

"Are you new here?" She tried to touch me, but I held her hand.

"I didn't give you permission to touch me." I squeezed her wrist, and she smiled, noticing my dominant manner.

"Okay." She lowered her arm.

"What do you want me to do?"

"I want you and a friend of yours to dance for me like it's your last damn night in this place." I looked at her intently and she sighed excitedly.

"Okay, I'll be right back." She said

I took another swig from the bottle of whiskey and sat down on a brown leather sofa, where I waited for the blonde to bring a friend.

As the whiskey was almost finished, I spotted the blonde approaching, followed by a seemingly shy woman.

"You took your time," I said seriously.

"Excuse me, but Dulce was busy with another client," said the blonde, referring to the woman behind her.

"Let me see you, Dulce," I said to the woman hiding behind the blonde, but she ignored me.

"What?" the blonde said after hearing something from this Dulce.

I looked at them impatiently, because what I hated most was stalling.

"I'm sorry sir, but Dulce isn't feeling well," said the blonde, visibly nervous.

I was about to ask when the woman with the codename Dulce rushed towards the club's exit, and strangely enough, I found myself following her.

"Hey!" I yelled, running after the unknown, yet quite familiar, woman.

"Wait!"

She kept running in her high heels, when she twisted her ankle and fell on all fours on the sidewalk.

"Are you okay?" I asked, approaching her.

"I am," she replied, covering her face with her hair.

"Go away."

I could have turned around and done what she said, but my curiosity stopped me, and before she could get up and run away again, I grabbed her arm and brought her face-to-face with me.

Her surprise at my action was evident, and she soon began trying to free herself from my grip, while hiding her face with her dark hair.

"What's your real name?" I asked, still holding her arm.

She ignored my question and continued trying to get away from me, but unfortunately for her, I don't give up easily.

"Tell me who you are!" I exclaimed, grabbing his chin to see his face, but I never imagined that what I would see would leave me so frustrated.

"Mom?" I murmured in disbelief.

The stripper, who looked exactly like my mother, looked up and stared at me with teary eyes.

"Dean," she replied sadly.

It can't be... How could she... when, where?

"What are you doing in a strip club?" I asked, trying to hide my disappointment.

"I work here," she replied, looking away.

"Why do you work in a place like this?!" I practically yelled.

She flinched at my tone of voice, but she answered.

"Because your father made it so I couldn't find a job anywhere." She looked at the floor.

"This was the only thing I could get to survive."

She pointed to the seedy strip club.

"How could my father have done that?" I thought aloud.

"How?"

"I always wonder that too," my mother said sadly.

"Mom," I called.

"You didn't visit me because my father stopped you?"

She nodded.

"That bastard!" I yelled, kicking a trash can next to me.

"I thought he was no good, but I never imagined it would be this bad."

"Don't worry about it." My mother held my arm.

"I'm fine, actually I'm great."

No, you're not. – I looked her up and down. – You're a fucking stripper!

She looked away, embarrassed, and walked away from me.

"I know," she murmured tearfully.

"But I have no other choice."

She started crying, and I felt a deadly rage toward my father.

"Yes, you do." I held her chin and lifted her face.

"I will create my empire and be richer than my father, and when that happens, you will never need this life again, because I will take care of you."

"Dean..." she murmured, letting tears stream down her face.

"I missed you so much."

I missed you too, Mom.

And so we hugged and went to her house, where we talked about the past, the present, and especially the future.

And it was on that day that I swore I would never again let my mother go to a strip club, even if it meant working day and night to support her.

At the moment ...
