Chapter 0059:Something’s Wrong.

After waiting endlessly for Kelvin to be back, Diana ended up falling asleep on the dining table. She opened her eyes when she felt someone touching her face.

When she recognized who it was, Kelvin, her husband. A smile covered her face and she stood up and hugged him.

“I was waiting, and i called but you didn't pick up.” She said, as Kelvin tried his best not to ask her about work today because she didn't go to work.

She was cheating on him and thinks that he doesn't know that?

Why?

He nearly asked her that, but replaced the look on his face with a smile. He figured out that it would be best to catch her in the act.

He wanted to know the truth, since when did she become a whore?

How long has she been seeing that man behind his back?

He didn't care about the fact that it might have happened, when they had issues. She still belonged to him and the thought of her useless friend being the reason why she's acting this way, he already has a change of mind about not messing with Jessica.

It's not been two days since they reconciled and he finds out that his wife is cheating on him, well done Diana!

“I was stranded at work, I didn't know my phone was ringing.” He lied, there was no need telling her about leaving his phone in the car, and meeting up with his side chick that was about to turn to his baby mama if it was true that she's carrying his baby.

This was something that Diana doesn't deserve to know, since she's keeping her new man from him. He wanted to see to which extent that she's going to continue lying, but if there's anything that he's sure about is the fact that no matter what happens between them, she will always come back.

She loved him to the point that if she has any idea about Liliana, she would rather he take her up as a second wife than to not see him any longer. It gave him immense joy that he's able to manipulate her to the extent that she can't live a life without him, so, whoever her new man was is nothing but a side chick just like Liliana.

Yet, the thoughts of another man touching what belongs to him. It took everything in him not to raise his hands on her right now, but it's way too early for that.

Kelvin reminded himself.

Diana turned to check his dinner to see that it was now cold. “I could heat it up for you…” she tried saying only to be interrupted.

“No, I'm fine. I'm not hungry.” Kelvin declined, which made Diana worried. Did that mean that he ate outside?

She had prepared dinner for him as a loving wife should, but he didn't answer her calls after seeing the numerous times that she called just to check if everything is good with him. Something is wrong with him and he's not telling her about it.

“Baby, are you sure that everything is fine?” She asked, really worried. She was trying to play her part as a wife because she truly wanted her marriage to work and because she loved Kelvin.

No matter how many times she pretends that she doesn't love him, it was all an act. It was her trying to mislead her heart from what it truly wanted.

“Yeah, everything is fine, I will go shower now.” Kelvin replied before turning for their room and left her, confused and worried in the dining room.

He didn't even acknowledge the fact that she prepared dinner, and has slept off while waiting for him to be back.

Diana didn't take his actions to heart, she concluded that he has a pretty bad day at work and he will eventually tell her about it when he's ready.

She took the food and put it in the freezer. She will heat it up tomorrow morning. Talking about tomorrow, she gasped when she looked at the time on the wall clock.

It was two in the morning, how late was he now working that he couldn't even pick up his phone, to check up on her and tell her that he won't be coming back home early?

“He's stressed out, Diana. Let it go.” She coazed herself.

The young lady wondered if he had argued with his mother again, because his mother is their biggest hater in this relationship. A day won't pass without her trying to get lucky to see if her son would listen to her.

She knew that she would be truly upset hearing that they had reconciled, but it's none of her business.

After tidying up in the kitchen, she went to their room to see Kelvin's work cloth on the floor. He was back to it again.

But she said nothing and took the clothes to the damper, while hearing the shower go on. Without thinking much of anything else to do since apparently it's obvious that he's in that talk to me mood, she went straight to bed.

She didn't go to sleep immediately, she was awake when he came out of the bathroom and took his pillow and laptop and left the room for the sitting room.

When the door closed, she sat up truly worried and tried thinking hard of what she might have done that is making him give her the cold shoulder.

But all her mind could go to was their conversation about adopting a child, she has told him that she wasn't down for that.

But thinking much about it, if there was a baby around she wouldn't have slept off while waiting for Kelvin to be back in this huge house. The house will have been more lively and it won't be just her and Kelvin anymore, because Kelvin desperately wants a child.

She felt guilty and at the same time blamed him for ruining their chances at being parents, so without stressing herself further after remembering that she still has to go to work tomorrow about Kelvin's stupidity, she went to sleep.

Early morning will tell what was wrong with him, and God help him if it was about a baby issue, because she won't keep quiet while he tries to manipulate her into doing what she doesn't want to do.
