Odessa was shocked when Blair asked her about her kidnappers? How did Blair know that she was kidnapped?
Odessa knew that she can't admit it to Blair or else Blair's life will be in danger.
"Blair....who told you that I'm kidnapped?" Odessa asked. She can't let Blair come to know of this. Blair will think of doing something stupid like coming to her. She definitely can't let her put her life in danger because of her. Odessa wasn't that selfish. Blair is the only person who has been kind to her in this life. She can't return the favour for now but at least she can make sure that she won't get dragged into her mess.
"Don't you think of lying to me Odessa! You called me and told me that you were at the bar and that I should come pick you up! I did just that and when I got there you were already gone. The bartender said that you were there for a while but then you already left. I could not find you and so I went to the police. They said that I had to wait for twenty four hours before I can file a missing person's report. I did just that and then I was told that they were going to have a hard time going to find you because you are not the only person who have gone missing. They told me that a lot of people have also gone missing too! Tell me, where are you right now?! If you are in any trouble, you don't need to hide it from me! I'll definitely do everything that I can to help you even if it means that I have to get myself in danger too! Don't try to hide it because you don't want to implicate me!" Blair said. It could be said that Blair actually knows Odessa well. She knows that Odessa is the kind of person who will definitely not want her friend to get in danger because of her.
Odessa sighed. She could feel Blair's care and concern for her and she was touched but it was all the more reason why Odessa knew that she could not get Blair involved.
"I don't know how you got the news but I'm definitely not kidnapped. I'm not in any danger. You don't need to worry about me" Odessa said. She definitely can't let her friend het involved in this.
Blair wasn't convinced. She was skeptical. "Are you sure about this Odessa? Are you sure that you are really not kidnapped and not in danger? Maybe you are just lying because you don't want to get me in danger? I already told you that you don't need to keep it away from me. I can definitely help you" Blair said.
Odessa smiled wryly. Blair sure wants to help her but she definitely won't be able to go against Aryan Seagrave. She will only get hurt in the process.
"I'm really not in danger Blair. Why will I get so lucky that I'll be kidnapped? I'm already having a hard life as it is. Don't worry. I'm not in danger. Besides, I can call you and chat with you for so long now. Will I be able to do all of that if I'm in danger right now?" Odessa asked. No matter what, she knew that she must not admit it.
Blair was slowly starting to get convinced. There's no way Odessa will be able to chat so calmly with her if she's in danger anyway. "Are you sure about this Odessa? Are you really not in trouble?" Blair asked.
"Of course I'm not in trouble! If I'm in trouble, will I have the heart to keep it away from you for so long?" Odessa asked. She lied without breaking a sweat.
"Then where are you? What happened to you? Why couldn't I get to you no matter how I tried? Do you even know how worried I was? I was convinced that you were kidnapped! What are you doing right now and where are you?" Blair asked. She was finally convinced that Odessa isn't kidnapped and she was worrying about how she is doing now.
"Hehe....of course I'm fine Blair. It's just that...a few things happened. I lost my mind because of the divorce and my parents behavior. I just wanted to take a break and run away from everything. I ended up leaving in a fit after I called you but then...I lost my phone. Don't you see that I'm calling you with another number now? I got a new phone and a new number after some days. I lost all the money that I had with me and I was in deep trouble. A kind man...a kind man helped me so things weren't too tough for me for the past few days don't worry. I'm definitely alright. And I'll definitely take care of myself" Odessa said.
Blair was worried when Odessa said that it was a man who saved her. She feared that Odessa will be taken advantage of.
"Odessa, it's a man who saved you? Do you know who this man is? I don't want you to get in trouble. Remember that you need to protect yourself at all costs! You can't let....you can't let anyone take advantage of you!" Blair said. Odessa had already gone through a lot because of that scumbag of a man Eliott.
Blair did not want Odessa to meet another scumbag.
"You don't need to worry about this Blair. He's definitely a good person! I don't know him well since we've only met for a few days but I know that he's a good person. At least he's better than Elliott. He definitely won't try to take advantage of me" Odessa said. She was lying without a break now.
Odessa never thought that she will call Aryan a good person in her life. But now she has to do it because she doesn't want her friend to be overly worried about her. She did not mind telling a few lies.
