Coincidence
“It’s all a coincidence? Do you really actually believe that it’s all a coincidence Odessa? Do you think that it’s a coincidence that the person who insulted her instantly lost everything the next day? I know that you are a smart person Odessa. You definitely won’t think that it’s a coincidence. What are you trying to run away from? Odessa is a smart woman. Or else she won’t be able to run away from this place the first time. Plus, she’s quite bold too. The only explanation was that she is trying to run away. But what exactly does she want to avoid?
“What are you actually trying to avoid?” Nancy asked again.
Odessa looked away because of guilt. Deep down, she knew that there is no way that all of this is some kind of a coincidence. She just wasn’t willing to admit it to herself and to others.
“I’m not trying to run away from it. I just think that… there’s no way that it will be true. It’s Aryan the boss of a company? Where will he find the time to get revenge on someone who insulted me?” Odessa asked skeptically.
“You just don’t know Mr. Seagrave well. As long as it’s someone or something that he cares about that, he always has the time” Nancy said.
Odessa almost laughed out loud when she heard this. “Are you saying that he cares about me right now? Don’t you think that it’s a bit too far fetched to think this way? I’m sorry but I’m not someone who likes to day dream! Aryan kidnapped me and forced me to stay here against my wish! He even raped me countless times ! Again and again! To him, I am not a human being! I am only a toy that she uses to satisfy her lust!! Do you want me to believe that such a man cares?! A man like Aryan Seagrave who is selfish to the bone will only care about himself. He won’t care about other people” Odessa said.
Nancy was confused. She did not know why things changed so suddenly. She thought that Odessa was definitely feeling touched a few seconds ago. Why did she change all of a sudden?
“Actually, Miss Odessa, you know that you are just trying to run away from it. You know that Mr. Seagrave has helped you in this. You just want to run away from that probability!” Nancy said. She said it bluntly to Odessa since Odessa was trying to run away from reality.
Odessa smiled sarcastically. “Ok, I admit that he did it. He was the one who made Linda lose everything in just one day. And he did it because she insulted me. But why?” Odessa asked.
“Actually, Mr. Seagrave…he….” Nancy did not get to finish again this time.
“Do you really not get it Nancy? I don’t know and I don’t want to know. I don’t want to know at all. I don’t think that….I want to get involved in things like this. Alright, stop talking to me about it. I just want to eat” Odessa said.
Nancy sighed. She did try her best. Mr. Seagrave doesn’t even realize his own feelings yet so these people still have a long way to go.

After Odessa was done with her lunch, she lay down on the bed bored. She did not want to go on social media again because she knows that she will definitely see the need about Linda Halls and she will start thinking about what Nancy said again. She wanted to push the possibility out of her mind completely.
Odessa held the phone in her hand. She was thinking about falling to Blair. She knew that Blair must definitely be worried for her because she is the last person that she called before she was kidnapped.
Odessa even wanted to tell Blair that she was kidnapped by a sx addict and that she should come save her but she decided against it when she remembered Aryan’s warning. She knew that Aryan has all the means in the world to make things difficult for Blair if Blair ever tried to help her
Odessa decided that she will call Blair but she won’t tell her the truth of where she is.
Since her phone had already been smashed, she did not have a sim and she did not remember the numbers of most people. But she still remembered the number of her best friend. She immediately keyed in Blair’s number and called her.
Blair was at work when she received a call from an unfamiliar number. She has been doing her best to find Odessa but she also knows that she has to go to work or else she will be fired. She went to work after a few days and she found out that she had a lot of work waiting for her.
It was the consequences of taking an unplanned leave.
She was still dealing with it when she received the call. Because Blair was still looking for Odessa, she did not dare to reject any strange calls. She was still hoping that Odessa will contact her soon.
Blair picked up the call. “Hello” she greeted. A very familiar voice sounded just then.
“Blair…. Blair…it’s me. It’s Odessa! How have you been?” Odessa asked cheerfully. She was about to burst into tears.
Odessa knew that if she died, there is only one person who will be sad and that person is Blair.
Blair was shocked to hear Odessa’s voice. She thought that Odessa was kidnapped! How did she call her? Aren’t her kidnappers there with her? Is it a call for Ransome?
“Odessa…. Odessa….are you alright?! I should be the one asking you how you’ve been! The kidnappers! Are they with you right now? How did you manage to call me?” Blair had a lot of questions but she asked the few that came to her mind then.
Odessa was shocked when Blair asked her about her kidnappers? How did Blair know that she was kidnapped?
Odessa knew that she can’t admit it to Blair or else Blair’s life will be in danger.
