Chapter 81: Never

Odessa never thought that she will call Aryan a good person in her life. But now she has to do it because she doesn't want her friend to be overly worried about her. She did not mind telling a few lies as long as Blair can be rest assured that she is alright.

Blair was convinced when she heard Odessa say that he's a better man than Eliott. Odessa's life will really be finished if she meets a man like Eliott again.

"Alright. It's good as long as he won't try to take advantage of you or treat you however he wants. But Odessa...when are you going to come back?" Blair asked. She really missed her best friend. She knows that Odessa won't have a place to stay if she comes back but Blair has already thought it out. Odessa will live with her.

Odessa's brain went blank when she heard this. When will she come back? Of course she wants to come back too! But she doesn't have a way to get out of this place. She won't be able to come back for now.

"Erh Blair ...I'm sorry but I won't be coming back now" Odessa announced.

Blair was shocked to hear this. "What? You won't be coming back now? What exactly are you doing there and why won't you come back? Odessa, I know that you are hurt by everything that has happened but home is still the best right? Once you come back, you can come live with me. Don't worry. You don't even have to pay rent. I'll take care of your living expenses until you can find yourself a job. Just come back home right now" Blair said. She thought that Odessa was still sad because of Elliot and she was running away from him.

In Blair's opinion, a trash man like Elliott isn't worth the trouble at all. Why should Odessa be sad because of him? She should make something of her life and then find a better man! She doesn't need trash like Elliott!

"That's not it Blair. There's no need for me to be sad because ot a person like Blair. I'm not sad because of him as I told you, I lost my mind after those things happened. I immediately left. But after I calmed down and thought about it, I saw that I did something really foolish. I should not have left the way that I left. Anyway, I decided that I want to do something with my life. I got a job. I'm working.....as the secretary of the man who saved me now" Odessa said. She had already decided that she is going to work as Aryan's secretary. At least, this means that she will get to leave the house.

So , Odessa wasn't exactly lying when she told Blair this.

Blair did not know what to feel or hoe to react when she heard this. On one hand, she wanted her friend to come back so the both of them can be together. On the other hand, she wanted her to stay away from the place that caused her harm so that she can heal faster. Plus, she even has a job there.

Blair felt that she will be really selfish if she demands for Odessa to quit her job and come back to her now.

"Are you .... alright working there? Do you enjoy the job?" Blair asked. She could only show concern for Odessa this way. As long as Odessa is fine, then it's all good. Nothing else matters as lint as Odessa is happy.

Odessa sighed. She is far from happy. She badly wants to leave this place. But she can't. She is trapped here.

"Of course of course I'm fine. There's nothing wrong with me. I'm actually.... actually enjoying this job. Don't worry about me Blair. I still have not figured out what I want to do for now. I am enjoying the job and so I'll stay. I don't even know what's Going to happen tommorow so I won't say anything for now. If I change my mind, I'll come back home soon. Or if not, I'll keep working here. I still haven't figured out what exactly I want to do" Odessa said.

Blair nodded her head on the other side of the phone even though she knew that Odessa can't see her.

"It's fine as long as you are enjoying what you are doing right now. As long as you are happy. When you get tired of it, you can always come back home. I'll be here waiting for you. Besides, I think that it's a good thing that you are not here right now. You don't have to be disgusted by these people" Blair said.

"Disgusted? What are you talking about Blair?" Subconsciously, Odessa knew that it had something to do with Eliott.

"Odessa, Eliott is really disgusting! I think that it's a good thing that you left that man already or else you are just going to suffer more in the future! He's a bastard and a scumbag. You will definitely suffer more if you are with him! It's better for you to get rid of such a person now!" Blair said. Odessa could tell how disgusted Blair was with Elliot from her words.

"Blair can you calm down? Tell me what actually happened" Odessa said. She no longer cared about anything that concerned Eliott. She never loved him and she only got married to him because her parents forced her. But she still wanted to know what made Blair so disgusted that she even cursed.

One had to know that Blair is someone who is very polite and hardly curses at others. Only a jerk like Elliott will be able to make her good tempered friend curse.

"You don't know Odessa! That you couldn't get pregnant for two years after marriage is all an excuse that he used to chase you away! His mistress was already pregnant with his child! The both of them are a pair of cheating scumbags! How dare they do this to you?!"
