“Oh right…we know her. She’s the person who came to deliver the clothes a few days ago. When I saw her that day, I was really envious of her. Even though she looked down on me, I really look up to people like her.

I want to become a woman like her someday…who knew that everything was a fake?” Odessa asked. She had always wanted to be an independent woman who didn’t need to please her husband. If she had her own career then, her parents won’t have been able to do whatever that they want with her.

Who knows that Linda was a liar and that everything she created about herself was a fake?
Nancy did not know what to say about this situation. Odessa is really curious about the things that Aryan has done for her. Does she really think that anyone will dare to expose Linda? No one will want to do it because of her family background.
After all, no one wants to invite trouble to themselves.
“I think that it’s really coincidental that it happened immediately the next day she was here right? I still remember the words that she said to you. She even said that you are a whore. I think that a person like this deserves it!” Nancy said. She was shocked too when she first saw the news. Like Odessa, Linda is a woman that she admired. She could have spent the rest of her life living off her father and her brother but she strived hard to make a name for herself and to carve out a career.
It's a pity that everything that she said turned out to be a big fat lie. There really is no telling what people will do to advance.
“Yes! I also think that it’s concidental. She was looking down on me and saying all sorts of things. In the end, she’s even worse!” At least she didn’t make use of her parent’s money to steal from other people and then pass it off as hers. The fact that she is here today…she definitely doesn’t want to be here too. It’s just that she doesn’t have a choice.
“And, you know, she went to Mr. Seagrave to complain about your attitude that day” Nancy said . There was a knowing smile in her eyes.
Odessa was stunned to hear this. She did not think that Linda….will be so shameless! She even went to complain when she is the one who provoked her First!
“Yes. She said all sorts of things about you and she even called you a whore in front of Aryan. I think that she was thinking to malign you in front of Aryan. You may have already guessed but Miss Halls actually likes Mr. Seagrave. Mr. Seagrave got annoyed that she was talking to you in such a manner and he called me to confirm. I told him all the things that Miss Hall said about you and he got even angrier. He said that he is going to get back at Miss Hall for talking about you like that. Do you think that all of this has something to do with him?” Nancy said. She finally could not bear Odessa being so clueless. She wanted to tell her the truth.
Odessa was quiet after she was told this. She was thinking about what Nancy said. She went to complain about her to Aryan and then the news about her plagiarism was released the next day.
Even an idiot won’t believe that it’s all a coincidence. Talk more, someone who is as smart as Odessa. Of course she did not believe that it was all a coincidence.
But Aryan did this for her? Is this really true?. And even if it’s true….why? Why did he go this far for someone like her?
Odessa knew that he had always treated her less than a man. He said that she is his sx slave and that is exactly what he treated her as. He never cared about her feelings before. What exactly got into his head that he went this far with Linda just because she insulted her with a few words? What is actually wrong with Aryan?
Nancy saw that Odessa was beginning to waver and she coughed.
“Actually, Miss Odessa, Mr. Seagrave is not half as bad as you think. I know that you think that I am just making excuses for him but I am really not. He really does treat you differently. At least, I know that he has never treated anyone Before the way that he treats you right now. Like this issue with Linda. He….” Nancy did not to complete her words because Odessa interrupted her.
“Just stop it Nancy. Are you telling me that Aryan did all of this for me? I’ll never believe that! Maybe there’s some kind of coincidence. But he definitely did not do it for me!” Odessa said. She told herself that she will never fall for Aryan’s tricks. She doesn’t know what he’s planning but she won’t let herself fall for it ever again!
Besides, she didn’t want to get disappointed after she convinced herself that he did it for her. What if everything turns out to be a joke and a coincidence? She did not want things to get awkward. It will only look like she was expecting something from him when the only thing that she wants is to get away… far away from Aryan.
Nancy sighed when she saw how Odessa was resisting this. It was like there was a wall built up in her heart that no one could get past no matter what.
“It’s all a coincidence? Do you really actually believe that it’s all a coincidence Odessa? Do you think that it’s a coincidence that the person who insulted her instantly lost everything the next day? I know that you are a smart person Odessa. You definitely won’t think that it’s a coincidence. What are you trying to run away from?
