She didn’t get the chance to pursue her dream. She didn’t want people who have the chance to waste it.
After Odessa dropped the comment, she sighed. Some People…..
People’s lives are really different. She did not get the chance to design even if she really wants to design but someone else got the chance but she could not do it right. She even had to make use of other people.
Odessa really didn’t know what she was supposed to make of this situation.
She continued to read through the news. Different people were reporting about it in different ways but they were all basically saying the same thing.
Linda Halls made use of her family’s power and stole the works of other people. She then passed it off as her own.
Odessa felt that the assistant Lena was the most pitiful person here. She did not do Anything wrong. But she had her designs stolen away from her and she still had to work for the person who stole her designs. And as if all of this wasn’t enough that person made things difficult for her and bullied her, taking out her anger on her whenever she is In a bad mood.
The minds of some people are really twisted.
Linda Halls. Odessa kept feeling that this name was very familiar. But she did not know where she heard the name from.
She scrolled down and then she was the picture of Linda Halls. Odessa remembered her then. This is the woman who had mocked her when she came to deliver clothes to her . She still remembered the way the woman looked down on her when she saw her. It was clear that she likes Aryan. Because she likes Aryan, she became the person who had to bear the brunt of her frustration.
Odessa thought that it was really coincidental that all her bad deeds were exposed a few days after the both of them had an argument. But Odessa did not think much of it . She just felt that it was all a coincidence. She pushed the matter to the back of her mind.
Just then, the door was pushed open and someone entered the room with a tray of food. It was Nancy and she had come with Odessa’s lunch. It was already known that Odessa will never come downstairs to have her meals because she didn’t want to see any of the people who lived inside the house. So Nancy had to bring the food to her.
Odessa no longer kicked up a fuss and said that she wasn’t going to eat. She knew that she will only be making things hard on herself if she did that. She wasn’t so stupid anyway.
Nancy saw that Odessa was looking intently at her phone. She was curious about what Odessa was looking at. She stretched her neck as she looked at the phone. Nancy sighed when she saw the news. She has already seen the news since yesterday and she knew that it was Aryan who did it. She knew they Aryan was definitely going to deal with Linda after Linda insulted Odessa. Her father’s company was even affected. Nancy knew that Aryan was really angry this time.
Nancy knew that Odessa has no idea of the things that Aryan has done for her. She only treats Aryan as the man who is keeping her here against her wishes. Nancy wanted to tell Odessa about all the things that Aryan has done for her but she knew that she could not do it or else she will be getting the blame for everything. She did not want to take such a big risk.
“What are you looking at Miss Odessa?” Even though Nancy already knew, she still wanted to ask Odessa. She wanted to see if she will be able to drop some hints to Odessa and if Odessa will be able to figure out herself that Aryan did this for her.
Odessa looked up to see Nancy. She was too engrossed in her phone and so she did not notice when someone else walked into the room.
“Oh, it’s you Nancy” Odessa said. She was no longer as hostile to Nancy. She was willing to treat her politely but she knew that the both of them will never be able to become friends in this life. After all, she is the one who is helping her boss to keep her here against her wish.
“I just saw this news. Apparently, a well known designer has been lying about her works. She stole the works of other people and passed them off as hers. She even stole the works of her assistant. She bullied the assistant because she thought that the assistant was better than her. I think that the mind of this person is too twisted. So she will bully someone just because she thinks that they are better than her? Is she going to get rid of everyone whom she thinks is better than her?. Some people really need to have their brains checked. Also, I think that this is the fault of her family. I bet that they have always pampered her and this gave her the idea that everything that she does is right and that she can’t do anything wrong. Such w person will only become a menace to society. It’s good that she’s been caught now. Who knows how many people she’s going to hurt with the help of her family in the future? She’s really unreasonable!” Odessa said.
“Oh right…we know her. She’s the person who came to deliver the clothes a few days ago. When I saw her that day, I was really envious of her. Even though she looked down on me, I really look up to people like her. I want to become a woman like her someday…who knew that everything was a fake? “
